HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! AVOID AT ALL COST! On May 8th, 2018 I called aleko products to place an order for the three different products. Before placing the order I asked the person who was taking the order to check availability of those products. She checked and told me that everything that I need is in stock, I placed the order and paid trough my credit card. On May 11th I have received an email from aleko stating that my order was shipped out trough FedEx and they provided me with the tracking number. On May 14th I decided to check the FedEx website for the status of my shipment and was very disappointed to find out that my shipment didn't even left their warehouse. At that point I have decided to call them to find out about what is going on. To my big surprise the person who picked up the phone - Shauna told me that they are out of stock for the products that I ordered and ALREADY PAID FOR 5 DAYS AGO!!! I was shocked. I asked her about how it happened, she told me that they got some confused employee who doesn't know what she is doing, that's why I ended up in this situation. After that I asked Shauna to talk to the manager, she told me that the manager is not in the office, than I asked her if I can talk to the manager's manager, she told me that it's the owner, but the owner is not in the office either. Trough all conversation I was treated as annoying mosquito, Shauna was extremely cocky and rude to me and she was trying to brush me off. I asked her to ask the manager to call me back, she said that the manager will not be available till the next day and hung up on me. Surprisingly manager named Tonya called me in the couple hours and was repeating the same story as Shauna did, offering me to wait until July or to get the refund. I decided to get a refund since I need to go ahead with my project and can not wait till July. They refunded me two days later, but because I paid with my Canadian credit card I lost money on the exchange rate that is charged by my credit card twice. Overall I got a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, the manager didn't even offered to me anything to make up for their unprofessional mess and insulting customer service. Caution for Buyers: This company is NOT a genuine product manufacturer. Instead, they merely act as distributors for items procured from China, deceptively portraying themselves as manufacturers. This constitutes a prime example of false and misleading advertising. Prior to confirming my order, I contacted them to verify their inventory's adequacy for my fencing project. Their assurances were along the lines of "certainly, we possess the required stock...as we are the manufacturers, sir." However, upon placing the order, they informed me of a 4-6 week waiting period. It is essential to note that they are not involved in any manufacturing process. I purchased the 14' St. Petersburg gate , keypad and gooseneck post. I think it looks fantastic and is absolutely beautiful. The shipping company apparently laid it flat on the ground with something underneath one corner which twisted one half of the gate slightly with the weight of everything else on top of it. The gentleman I spoke to at Aleko did more than I expected to make it right and I'm pretty happy with the product and customer service. We had custom built stone columns that are very nice and this gate looks perfect with them. The posts were left in concrete to cure for 4 days and we decided to leave some ratchet straps up to keep the gates from posts from taking all the weight for another few days just in case. St. Louis Style Sliding Driveway Gate over a month ago, and I'm still waiting for the issue to be resolved. The gate arrived missing essential parts, including installation hardware. The instructions were also vague and unhelpful, making the assembly difficult. I contacted ALEKO's customer service, which was extremely disappointing. They provided no help in getting the missing parts. I then reached out to Home Depot customer service, hoping they could assist, but after a month, I'm still waiting for the missing parts and a resolution. A couple of times we had to call Aleko for technical support. The first time we needed to program a new gate remote and Tyler P answered. He was so professional and knowledgeable. Its been a while since we have had this type of awesome customer service. The next time we called, we asked for Tyler P by name. He again went step by step in explaining how to change out the gate equipment. He was patient and so pleasant. He helped ease our anxiety and didn't mind repeating instructions a few times. I had a need to have shade on my back patio to shade the inside of my house to lessen the heat and light coming in during the main sunlight hours as well as to enjoy being outside more with having additional shade. I was able to find this product and not only love the functionality of it but I love the scallop design detail and the grey and white stripe. The worst products and customer service. I bought awning from this shit company and they said its warranted for one year. I called because the awning doesn't work no more they said they will send me a part so I called somebody who know about awning to tell me what's the problem so I tell the company wish is cost me $75 just to tell me what's the problem without installing fee. I just visited the local store. It is small and looks like an office store, but people were very polite. I look for a gazebo for my backyard and was impressed with choice and price. I really liked that they helped me to choose the right size and style. When I get back home and start to assemble it I have some problems of understanding so I called their support and again they helped me with it. This was such a fun discovery! I discovered them on Craigslist, where they post their inventory. Their inventory is Amazon outdoor items, they they sell for less at this warehouse/store, without the Amazon markup and their shipping costs. During Covid, their inventory is outside and they come outside to help. They have a 30 day return policy for new items, and sell returned items at a fraction of the cost.
