I went to this venue as a ticket holder for the 2023 chocolate expo. The Shriners auditorium promises about 1,000 parking spots, found in front of, to the side of, and behind their building. They handled parking people which resulted in people street parking half a mile down the road. I think they were understaffed for the job - they would move parking area to parking area, fill spots from closest to furthest from the venue, but not fill the spots that vacated in the meantime. I got a lot of angry pointing when I tried to break ranks and park in an available spot right near the entrance of the upper lot (and then stole another one when his back was turned). There is one entrance to the venue on what I would consider the side. I also only saw evidence of one set of restrooms, resulting in a long line from the women's. The inside of the gym held a good amount of vendors and mobs of people, as well as a kids area and stage for a magician. There is also a built in eatery that seemed to be run by the Shriners for hot dogs, etc. The walls were adorned with Shriners facts about their good works, which were interesting to read.

I visited Shriners Auditorium this weekend for both days of Northeast Comic Con & Expo. The venue was great! The main hall held vendor booths, performance stages, and even Simply Circus performers. The 2nd floor had 2 spaces were panel presentations were held. Ample seating for attendees. Parking was easy both days with Shriners staff directing traffic. The Roadhouse Grill was open providing food. It was cash only - but their chicken fingers & fries were tasty. As others have mentioned, this venue is very easy to get to from 93 North.

Was here for the Pop Culture Expo last Sat. & liked that it was (IMO) the perfect size venue for the show.

Like all the other reviewers, I have come to know and love the Shriner's Auditorium as the home of the Boston Derby Dames.

A lot of staff, some a bit stressed but the guys working prop doors were cool. Six rooms for hockey changing and lots of blue panels taped up to improve the rink sides. While the wifi was poor (the phone signal even worse),it was free, and equivalent to getting 3g or ~LTE service, barely. Parking in front is paved, in the back is gravel. They did manage to be on time during the day (even a bit early) though their final schedule over the weekend came out a bit late for those of us traveling there. Cash concessions and lots of seating.

Came twice so far - once for practice ice and once for a USFSA test session. The arena itself is not too cold. I was able to sit in the stands and though I was chilly, I was not cold. Practice ice involves lots of forms - yes I forged my coaches signature in quite a few places. All staff encountered were super friendly. From saying hello, to happily answering questions, to taking a genuine interest in your skating endeavors. The test session was PROFESSIONALLY run. They kept to the schedule. Kept all non testing personnel in the warming room. And did not allow people to go through the doors while a test was in session. Test results were handed out within minutes of the test conclusion. I realize that 99%+ of the people reading this review probably have no idea about what I'm writing. But if you are a high level figure skater working on the test track - this rink treats you right.

She has helped me understand in a visceral way how they are all connected by underlying trauma, and has worked with me directly and given me tools to process it on my own. I still have work to do, but now my back pain is gone, I am a more relaxed and open person, and I feel like I'm able to express more of myself every day. My work, personal relationships, and overall quality of life have all improved dramatically. Josie uses a breadth of modalities depending on the focus of our time together. She is deeply knowledgeable about the science and research behind each of her approaches, and can explain how each approach fits with the rest of the treatment. Josie brings a high degree of integrity to her work, and she is compassionate and warm. She brings humor, honesty, and joy to her work. I found it easy to trust her and to let myself be vulnerable with her. I can't recommend Josie enough as a healer.

The function area had plenty of room for our 175 guests to mingle, with a large dance floor and a great spot for the DJ with his giant video screen. Their bartenders and serving staff were very professional, fun, and there was never a wait at the bar. There is a large deck overlooking the beautiful golf course and a side room that provided a nice place for our guests to enjoy the amazing appetizers, drinks, and music while we took our photos. Teresa's also provided a huge private area for the wedding party to relax and enjoy appetizers prior to being announced, and a safe place to store changes of clothes and other personal items. There was also plenty of parking and Teresa's provided an attendant as well. Sharon was easy to work with, was extremely supportive during the planning, and was in control and calm during the reception to ensure our day went as planned! We had some unique needs and special desires and Sharon was very accommodating. For example, we decided to have a dessert table in lieu of a wedding cake; we put our trust in Sharon to take care of that for us and she far exceeded every expectation! Our dessert bar was absolutely amazing and our guests raved about it! Additionally, she was so helpful with our request for food stations instead of a traditional sit down meal. The biggest hit...a mashed potato bar, with loads of toppings and served in martini glasses! Our guests couldn't get enough! Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be because of the planning and facility offered by Teresa's Hillview and Sharon Shaugnessy. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the North Reading area, we strongly recommend Teresa's and Sharon!
