I've got to believe there's a lot of parents in the area who will give Laser Craze 5 stars just because their kids will sleep soundly that evening. I came here with a number of friends for a birthday event, though I didn't actually do the laser battle - I had toddler-watch duty. That really isn't bad, because there's so much for them to do. Though it is a little chaotic, with all the parents, and all the kids running around, and all the kids' shoes on the floor so that they can run and jump and climb. My friends who did laser battle had descriptions like "exhilirating" and "the fastest 20 minutes of my life!" That 20 minutes is actually divided into four 5-minute sessions. Your team assignment is at random, so not everyone will be on the same team. But that's just as much fun. Those of us outside can watch the individual and team and leader scores on one of the TVs as each match progresses. I'm not sure how easily you earn tickets, but I did watch one kid on the "Deal or No Deal" machine end up with the 200-ticket briefcase (best possible), opt to take the "Mega Spin" instead, and he wound up winning 2000 tickets. Tickets can be redeemed for anything from candy to decent-sized games. There are tables for dining near the snack bar, and a larger area for parties. The facilities, including the rest rooms, are well maintained. I give the employees a lot of credit - they work as hard as the kids play, and I think they're just as tired as the kids when they get home at night.

My friends took me here to celebrate my birthday. We LOVED it! The staff were informative, friendly, and patience. Really not what I expect from a facility catered to kids. There's plenty of parking so you don't have to worry about that. We didn't make any reservations when we went on a Saturday night and got the next game immediately. But I do recommend making reservations especially on a weekend as spots get filled up pretty quickly. We played a four 5 minutes back to back games. And I can say I had the best time of my life! It's nice to have some friendly competitions from time to time. :) Good for all ages!

My daughter had a lot of fun here. We didn't eat here so I can't speak for the food it the game area was prices very fair and the prizes were way better here than at Chuck E. Cheese. The bounce house was fun. My biggest complaint is the configuration of the bounce houses. The space for the kids to go from one house to the next is in a L shape and there is a really sharp turn and kids run around there and I saw several kids run into each around that blind corner and actually had a kid run into me when I was walking around the corner. It's very dangerous. I don't care for that at all but besides that it was a lot of fun.

    New high score in basketball!!!!

It was Saturday, around midday, and my friends and I were in Woburn. We didn't know how to spend our day, but after looking through things to do in the area we decided upon XtremeCraze. I remember often visiting throughout my childhood, and coming back now as a teenager: it was even better than before. We had an amazing worker assist us with all that we wanted to do and he made sure that we were well taken care of. Sage expedited the process of us purchasing our game card and really made sure we knew all that the establishment could offer. We played a bunch of games, our favorite was basketball, and ate from the various food options they had. I would recommend the slushees!!! We even got a high score in basketball; that was definitely the highlight of the day. Thank you Sage for being so welcoming we will definitely be returning!!!!

Outrageously fun! A little tough to locate at first, yet just like the G-spot, when you finally find it, be prepared for non-stop thrills. (Yes, I realize it'll be mostly parents reading this review, and perhaps the anatomical reference will seem a little excessive, but honestly - you got to be parents somehow, right? Let's party.) A small arcade with mostly ticket-bearing games offers a little sumpin sumpin to an otherwise light-amplified destination, so let's skip the fact that they charge 50c to play SkeeBall (Funspot does it for a quarter!) and look to the laser arena. Because, honestly, that's where you should be spending your time. $11 buys your way in, and after an easy-breezy briefing, you're strapped with the latest in laser tag tech for 25 minutes of high tension, black light battledoming. Two teams, two tiers of terrain and two surprise modes hit your packs randomly (Invisible shuts your pack lights down, and rapid fire triple your shooting rate - each lasting thirty seconds). The game itself is loads of fun, and I like the "finite lives" dynamic better than LazerQuest's "shut down after being shot" structure. We went as a group and the kids were few and far between on a Thursday night, making it a fun and unique alternative to Edward Fortyhands 'round Faneuil. Priced right, sterilized by fumigation on the nightly and the bonus of having a Sea Dog Brew Pub nearby gives Laser Craze the Parker Bros seal of approval - fun for ages 8-88.

Winning big at the arcade games!

It's well organized and there is a small area and a large area right by the entrance, flanking the ticket redemption area, the drink counter, and the employee desk. Great location for it. There's two flatscreen TVs in the large area and one flatscreen TV in the small one. Ability to turn off/on lights. We were able to fit high 20's number of kids in the small party area. Service and coordination was particularly great. Megan was our lead person, and she provided excellent concierge service. We were frankly surprised how great she was and attentive. We just assumed we'd be in for some chaos but nope, guided us, paced us, and was very attentive. You bring your own drinks and cake, and they have pizza baked in house. The pizza is really good. Wow. Move over boring kid birthday pizza. They take the cake back for you and cut it up and serve it. They clean up. They help with pizza distribution. They wheel in and out the carts with gifts (and coats this time of year) into and out of the party area. So if you want to stay around longer after the party area reservation, you're welcome to and they've got multiple carts to keep your things. The distribution of some of the credits on cards before and after was great. And the A or B on the cards of the kids to divide up the laser tag was great. And our kid got to do both times since it was their birthday. The area and place/setting is fun. Lots of different types of games. Everything was working -- a rarity for an arcade. There's better or worse use of credits, of course, as there is everywhere. I loved the variety though. There were electronic games, claw games, multiplayer games, violent and non-violent, physical sport/skill games (basketball shooting, ski ball, drop ball), and both ticket earning and non-ticket earning games. The redemption area has a large variety of choices and they're displayed well to enable kids to make choices without long queues. The laser tag area is surprisingly large and very fun for the kids. It's gotta be 2-3x larger than the rest of the arcade. The price here was great. Lots of folks will seek outer suburbs of Boston for good prices but all in this was a steal compared to some other options. And the other families loved it. Kids were raving about it through the school week, and multiple people said they're going to bring their families back here again soon and many for birthday parties.

Is it just me or is the pizza here actually pretty amazing? i have only been here for birthday…read moreparties but I am realizing that the pizza here that is made in house is different from other places and for birthday party pizza it is way better than delivering it into wherever the venue is. It's rectangular and super thick and i didn't think much of it until my son wolfed down two slices so fast i was not believing. so I had one. and i tried another weird pie called CBLT or something and it looked scary drizzled with ranch but crazy good! I think im just going to make excuses to come here again to try the pizza...the arcade games are definitely not really for little kids but pretty fun for older kids and grownups but it's nice that even if you have teensy kid points you can still get decent toy prizes and candy.

Go during the day or don't go at all…read more Me and a couple pals went to Merrimack Valley Pavilion last night for mini golf, a harmless activity, and honestly, it was one of the creepiest experiences I've ever had. Sure, during the day it's charming, families, kids, bright colors, ice cream, obstacle courses arcade games and whatnot. But at night, something shifts. The woods press in close around the course, and it feels like at any moment, a deer could break through the trees and sprint across the green. That sounds funny until you realize how easily someone could get hurt, or worse. Who knows what lingers in these woods. The little ponds scattered through the course, which seem endearing under the sun, but in the dark they suddenly look deep, like someone could slip, fall in, and never come back up. We lingered near the cave on hole 14, and I swear to God there was something wrong inside. It wasn't just dark it felt like something or someone was waiting. My chest got tight when I stepped near it, and I had to back away. My friend started shaking uncontrollably. And then there are the tikimen statues. During the day they're just silly props, but at night? They look disturbed , tilted, cracked, like they've been through something they'll never talk about. But the worst was hole 18. As we lined up for our final shots, I heard it, a whisper. My name. Clear as day, right next to my ear. I spun around, but no one was there. My friends looked pale, they'd heard their names too. We rushed to finish and left in silence. Here's the truth: all these little details, the woods, the ponds, the statues they're harmless in daylight. But at night, Merrimack Valley Pavilion feels haunted. And I don't say that lightly. Go for the ice cream if you want, but leave before dark. And if you do stay late... don't turn around when you hear your name.

They also had a variety of games, which require a pre-paid card, but were all very reasonably priced (0.25 cents to $1.75). The pre-paid card also came with certain deals (load $10 receive $12 credit) and there were a variety of games for a variety of different skill-levels. They had the "play until you win" claw machine too, which is great for kids of all ages. The prize wall was expansive and the prizes were "priced" fairly. It ranged from a few points for candy to thousands of points for larger items. My son was able to get a stuffed animal for around 700 points, and he loves that thing. The area was clean, it was not crowded, parking was plentiful and staff was friendly and approachable. We really loved Xtreme craze.

Elise has gone above and beyond for my Elise - even helping guide her through the mirror maze when she was trying that on her own. I was slightly hesitant to not join my daughter in the maze, both because of her age and that she's Autistic. I'm really proud of her for enjoying the mirror maze without Mom by her side. I personally find the mirror maze a bit overwhelming visually - but 40 year old mom isn't the target market for that experience. Our routine is now ride the ride on animal vehicles, mirror maze, and a small toy before we leave. The ride on animals are great! $10 but my daughter gets bored before her time is up. Mirror maze is $7. They have you wear plastic gloves so that you won't leave fingerprints if you touch a mirror. There's also lazer tag, but we haven't tried that yet. What makes this store unique is the caring staff and curated toys available. It's large enough to have everything you need and a lot of options, but not be overwhelming. You can find a gift for any kid here, even just the young at heart. Even just window shopping is a delight - with a Lego T Rex and Kenex ferris wheel. Definitely worth shopping here over a big box chain. They have a free rewards program too, that gives you discounts based on your lifetime purchase value.
