Spectacular! Broccoli Rabe and Rock Shrimp - I added calamari for $9.99 and this was a good first entry into the range of dishes this Italian BYOB offers. They gave ample amounts of pieces of Rock Shrimp mixed in the pasta with full shrimps as well. I noticed the broccoli rabe which I enjoyed did bleed into the flavor profile of the dish, however causing a bitter taste to mix with the extra virgin olive oil and fresh garlic. Chicken Parm and Pasta - The gf ordered this one which they were able to make gluten free for her. I sampled it and it was quite good. The chicken was lightly sauce and mounted with a very generous portion of cheese. It does not lay in your stomach however and was surprisingly light for such a comfort food, definitely would recommend and order this again. House Combo Pizza - Mushrooms, peppers, onions, sausage and pepperoni. The Pizza which we ordered, and they made gluten free was spectacular. We ended up going back for more pizza either the day next day or the day after to try more of the pizzas they offer. You really need to check out their pizza menu if you are in the area. I cannot stress this enough, to find a place that whips up fresh gluten free pizza from scratch and not a pre-made shell is hard to find. We ended up putting four toppings on and it came to a little over $36 for a large which we got several meals out of. All of the workers in the restaurant are very friendly and the whole design of the restaurant eludes the spirit of Italy. Several monitors with pictures of the landscapes of Italy to look at while you sip your BYOB, can't beat that with a stick! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend. As always people SYOY!!!

Shrimp & Scallop Salad

The most beautiful and delicious salad! Excellent service as always. Alessio never disappoints.

House special pasta with shrimp and crab meat in a vodka sauce

I have considered going here many times but always noticed varied reviews. Well, I finally tried it out on a Friday night. It's a small place and it was busy. All the tables were full and lots of takeout orders. The inside is very simple and we had a small table for two in front of the pizza station. The server was extremely friendly and quite helpful. The menu is quite broad from seafood to Italian, to pizza and Stromboli. We tried the buffalo shrimp and fried oysters for starters. The oysters were fresh but I have been spoiled with large fresh fried oysters in Maine. These didn't compare. The buffalo shrimp was quite tasty. I also had one oyster Rockefeller and it was not like any I had before. Not bad, just different. I got the house special pasta that is a shrimp and crabmeat with vodka sauce. It was okay. Not something I would get again. My wife had the eggplant rollatini. It too had a different twist served with spinach. It was again okay, not a repeat. Both were very large servings. We grabbed a cheesesteak Stromboli to go and that was great. The dough was nice, thin and well cooked. Overall I would try it again but most likely try other things on the menu. They also have gluten free pizza which is great. Really pleasant staff to boot.

Peppino's Combo, Cod, Scallops & Shrimp broiled

Line caught, super fresh seafood and at a generous price point. With little notice they accepted our Friday in Lent birthday party group. The service was friendly and attentive. The lobster, scallop, shrimp and crab white pizza is a delicious bargain. We returned a few days later for the $ 1.25 a shuck oysters and an outstanding dinner. The staff is friendly, the complimentary garlic bread is flavorful. The dining room is inviting. You won't go away hungry and the garlic salad is great. The lunch menu looks terrific as well. I only regret passing by this gem for so many years.

My new favorite restaurant. I was craving oysters and crabs! We went this past Sunday August 6. We opened up the restaurant, we were the only people there and was able to chose our seat. Well it was empty. We were greeted by Joey (son) such a pleasant person. We ordered not 1 but 2 dozen oysters. Very fresh! No complaints. The garlic break they offered was warm and most off all crunchy. I ordered many things: Small salad - freshly made Lobster bisque- hot and creamy Pizza - house combo with 2 slices with anchovies Seafood - seafood Pescatore with Angel hair, came out steaming , all the seafood was tender and melted in your mouth and the whole plate of seafood and noodles were great tasting. They even had the fancy twirly thing to help keep the flies away from the sea food. I totally enjoy my first visit to ALESSIO. I know Joey didn't know. But it was my Birthday! My husband and I were the only 2 people in the restaurant on Sunday morning at 1130am. I felt like we rented the whole restaurant for ourselves. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Finally got around to trying Alessio's Seafood Grille and the hype is real. Me and the wife split the steak and slices. Amazing bread, perfect in every way. Cheese was abundant and interlaced through out the well seasoned meat. Pictures don't do this hefty meat missile justice. It's a top 5 for sure. Very taken back on the sheer stupendous steak here. Slices are also very good but the pepperoni eeked out the plain. Wonderful owners and for sure be back often.

Ask the Community - Alessio's Seafood Grille

Is this a quiet place so you can hear the people with you. ? Hopefully no loud annoying music.

Music was audible, but not so loud as to prohibit conversation.

Do you offer non seeded rolls for the cheesesteaks?

Yes we do! Just request it when you order 😊

I had dinner at the Warrington loc a couple yrs ago. The food was excellent. I am thinking about a return visit, but may have up to 8 people. Not sure we can be accommodated. The dining area was very small. Has that changed? Are bathrooms inside?

We can absolutely accommodate that sized party. As of April 2023 the bathrooms are inside!🎊

If I bring vodka, will they make me a Bloody Mary as many restaurants do?

Of course

Does the Warrington location have outdoor dining?

Yes it does Please call to reserve

Do you have vegan substitutes? Your business shows up when I search vegan.

We can definitely make vegan items at this location. Although we have vegan substitutions at our Sister location “Pronto” in Doylestown We carry vegan cheese, vegan chicken…

Another double date with our foodie friend's pick…read more And wow what a pick! A beautifully decorated (both outside and inside) quaint restaurant, with a visible pizza oven. We shared a literally beautiful antipasto for an appetizer. It boasted fresh mozzarella balls, eggplant, artichokes, sweet red peppers, prosciutto, and olives. We had a good and soft loaf of bread with a yummy olive oil and balsamic dip too. Our meals were ALL tremendous! We had pasta dishes - gnocchi marsala and fettuccine with clams - EXCELLENT! I had plenty of sauce left to dip the soft bread into :) The other couple had octopus (appetizer) and seafood atop squid ink pappardelle pasta. They loved their dishes as well. Of course we didn't have room for dessert, but our chocolate wine and other wines were definitely sufficient. BYOB's are great and money saving. This place is a bit of a haul but I hope to get back in the future !

We had heard about La Voglia and decided to try it out! We went on a Friday evening and it wasn't…read moretoo crowded. The restaurant has a warm feel to it and is decorated nicely. They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

The food had both highlights and disappointments: * Lobster Ravioli: Tasted very good, although the portion was small. The sauce was flavorful and enjoyable. * Cioppino: This was the standout dish of the evening. It was loaded with delicious seafood, and while the pasta was slightly overcooked, it was still a very good meal. * Penne alla Vodka: The sauce was delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, but we still enjoyed the dish overall. * Caprese Salad: This was disappointing. The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with excellent service and some very flavorful dishes, but consistency in the food and pasta preparation could be improved.

The Arancini was very good as was the Special Grilled Octopus in a Hummus Salad. There were 4 of us and we all felt that the entrees were good but didn't rise to what our expectations were, based on other reviews. The Lobster Gnocchi was good but seemed to be missing the lobster. The best part of the Scallop Risotto was the perfectly seared Scallops but the risotto itself was just ok. The Fiochi di Pere was good but overall didn't have all that much flavor. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very generous portion of chicken and pasta but the Italian seasoning was almost overpowering. I don't like writing reviews like this but like I said, we're in the minority review-wise on this one. Give it a try. Our experience just wasn't as good as what we expected.

I would say six tables at most. The decor seemed a little tired and could use some freshening. The bar area sits a step down from the entrance and seemed active. We decided to each have a drink to start and I had the prime rib carpaccio. The meat was delicious and very thinly sliced. The cheese and capers were a perfect flavor profile. They had elk on the menu so I couldn't resist. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely melted in my mouth with a tasty reduction over top. My wife had the seared scallops over two colors of noodles and scallions. The scallops were a touch too salty yet cooked perfectly. The dark chocolate cake was simply amazing. A must if you go. The food was quite good and they always seem to have some unique options if you like wild game. Give it a try and see what you think.

This restaurant has rested in my childhood neighborhood for years. When I was a child I could have…read morealmost walked here if needed. Despite this, I have never actually been here (it was previously a different restaurant). It's funny how that works. Even now it's not that far away from me. My fiancé wanted to check it out for their restaurant week. It's obvious this place has its loyal followers. We sat in the bar area and it was packed with people who clearly have been going for years. My review obviously will never taint that, but I have to be honest with what I experienced and ate. One thing I noticed was how rushed our waiter was. He was running around like crazy and we all realized he was the second bartender and also the waiter for everyone in the bar area. I do feel bad about that, I know that's how things work sometimes, but that definitely showed in his disposition. He felt rushed needing to equally attended to everyone eating and also everyone at bar. I don't fault him for that he did a good job under the circumstances, but it's a shame he was put into that position. As far as the food goes, I will admit I found myself disappointed. For my appetizer, I ordered the mushroom toast. I kid you not what came out was just the bread, they served for free at the table, lightly grilled with some messily chopped mushrooms on top. I'll be honest and say I would be embarrassed to serve that to any customer. For my main course, I had the lamb dish. It was decent but the amount of lamb compared to the massive mound of photos and greens was not enough. Plus, the dish promised a demi-glaze that was almost not present at all making whole dish eat dry. With more lamb and sauce the dish would have been pretty good. For desert, I ordered the crème brûlée. It was ok, but was somewhat flavorless. The drink I ordered was good and came in a very unique martini glass that kept the drink cold. Overall, I will say I was disappointed in the food here. I wasn't expecting 5 stars, I was expecting a decent hometown restaurant meal. What I got was somewhat below that. I can't say I will never be back, but it definitely won't be anywhere near the top of my radar.
