First timer! This restaurant is a hidden gem!! I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is BYOB. There is indoor & outdoor seating. I had a reservation and did not have to wait for a table. The host and server were attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean inside & out. The food was GOOD! I ordered the muscles for an appetizer and off the specials menu swordfish with shrimp. The food was prepped well and taste great! I loved the dish my swordfish was served on. Definitely returning! Chef's kiss!

We celebrated my moms 70th birthday at La Voglia, and from start to finish, i can't recommend La Voglia enough. There were 24 of us, and they let us ring in decorations, helped move tables and make a cute little cake/gift table.... everything we asked, they happily accommodated. Food and service were equally incredible! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a party, or any meal. Can't wait to go back!

Food amazing, service amazing, ambiance amazing! We got the penne vodka and the gnocchi and both cleared our plates. It was a beautiful night so we sat outside which was perfect! Our waiter was incredible, so nice and went above and beyond. We forgot a bottle of wine and he had a bottle left over from another table and let us have some, which he didn't have to do and we didn't ask. He was great! Can't wait to go back!

We usually go to their sister restaurant in Huntington Valley but it was recommended that we check this location out. The menu is different and as good as our usual pick. This location seems to be a little more on the loud-side but not intrusive and maybe more casual than the other more formal (don't read stuffy) spot. Overall we prefer our original location. But on to the food! There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our choices with the Portobello Gamberi (mushrooms, sautéed spinach, jumbo shrimp in a delicious Beurre Blanc sauce) being the "appetizer winner" and the Carbonara with Pancetta (mixed at the table) the top entree. I will not describe all the other dishes but they included 2 different risottos, Penne Vodka, a Veal dish as well as a Pizza. Well worth a visit. BYO.

My family and I stopped in here and really loved our experience! The restaurant is quaint but you could feel the love and warmth the staff of this place exudes. We were immediately seated and waited on by Andis. He shared a few of his favorites and we ended up ordering mussels and fried calamari for appetizers. For our entrees, we got the gnocchi, lobster ravioli, and fig & apple salad. My MIL wanted a shrimp scampi type of dish which was not on the menu but they were so accommodating and made her exactly what she wanted. Lastly for dessert, we selected the limoncello and chocolate mousse. Unfortunately the dulce de leche was sold out but we were so excited to try it. Even though the restaurant didn't have it, they provided us with a tiramisu on the house because the dulce de leche wasn't available. This family owned restaurant is truly a gem and I would highly recommend it!

Realizing I don't eat out enough in the burbs, I've been purposely looking for places closer to me. Stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to do a family bday dinner here. We loved it! Service was great, bread was warm and delish. BYOB - yaaaas! And the dishes? Absolutely stellar. My kids don't really like octopus, this was the best grilled octopus I have had! Calamari was good, but I personally like the batter a bit crispier - blame the Americanized me I know lol. More batter on everything lol. The pasta dishes really shined. A penne vodka, Sunday supper and a special of the day were all delicious ! I wish we had room for more desserts, we tried a cannoli which was brought out for my bday which was also good. Just have to bring more friends to help me eat more! Tip: double check which Voglia you make a resy for, I almost made it at the Mediterranean one when I wanted the Italian one. But it's on my list to try next!

    Scam of withdrawal

Beware! We got scammed. The food was great, but we had a very unpleasant experience when it came to paying. The staff claimed that the first card transaction hadn't gone through and asked us to pay again. Later, we discovered that both transactions had actually been processed, so we were charged twice. We ate there on Sunday evening and continued our road trip further south the following day. Naturally, the restaurant was closed on Monday, making it impossible to resolve the issue in person. Double-check your bank transactions before leaving if you decide to eat here.

Another amazing meal and was able to eat outside due to phenomenal weather! Service is always amazing. Beautiful outside seating! Food was outstanding!

    Caesar salad

Never disappoints! We arrived and got such a warm welcome from everyone especially Chris! Everyone was attentive and we appreciated the water refills from Kevin! And now the food.... I enjoyed the very tender chicken with spinach, potatoes, carrots & crabmeat! Of course the Caesar salad too! The vibe was bumping and busy... birthdays, celebrations and good food!

At first, we were skeptical when we arrived. It is located in a mini strip of dingy looking shops and right next to a store that sold boots and guns. I will say La Voglia is my definition of a hidden gem and is the first 5 star I've experienced in the Bucks County area. Bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar... who would have thought something this simple can taste this good? It's one of the best bread with oil/vinegar I've ever had. The calamari is probably one of the best I've had... even easily top 3 of my favorite. It is so tender and not chewy, and prefect breaded. The breading doesn't just crumble when you go to pick one up. The marinara and aioli it comes with are delicious too. If you get the polpo, the capers with that taste amazing with the calamari. I wonder if it's never frozen, which gives it a very pleasant texture. Polpo (octopus) - one generous tentacle (no sarcasm) grilled to perfection on a bed of arugula with a citrus sauce/vinegairette of some sort. I love the capers and heirloom, not so much the olives, but that's because I just don't like olives. Highly recommend! Homemade tri-colored Tagliatelle tossed with shaved asparagus with four pieces of fresh jumbo shrimp, topped with crab meat. I know the shrimp is super fresh because the tail pops right off and not cemented to the shrimp. Shrimps are also beautifully de-veined. Gnocchi - delicious marsala flavor with super tender shredded short ribs and mushrooms that were saturated with flavor. Sunday supper - also a solid choice. I love the shredded pork cheek and the meatballs had a great flavor. A lot of times meatballs can tasted "meaty" or nuked. The ingredients here just seem so fresh. Service is perfect. It's equivalent to those 5 fancy shmancy places. I put my food in a container and she came by with a plastic bag AND wrapped it and tied it ONCE, not triple knotting unlike some knuckleheads. I didn't even need to ask her for a bag. She also asked each time if she could take a plate away (even if it seemed obvious), which I find to be super polite. I can't even begin to count how many times people just assume, and more often than it should, we weren't actually done. Mortin's steakhouse once took a plate with half a crab cake. You cannot go wrong here. Everything has been so delicious, and we will definitely become regulars.

Good absolutely amazing. My son and I had the Osso Bucco. It was delicious and I wanted the penne instead of the Risotto. I tried my son's Risotto and it was delicious. My daughter in law had veal Oscar and that was just as delicious. Service was very good and the ambiance was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant!

    Oysters!

The experience was nothing short of incredible from start to finish. Of course, that takes into account that we had amazingly generous friends treating us to dinner for a milestone anniversary. With incredible wine selections for each course. #cremedelacreme #spoiledrotten We started with shrimp cocktail and raw oysters. Both beautifully presented and terrifically fresh. Flavor pop. We had a variety of entrees. One veal, a pasta special, a branzino, and I ordered the zuppa di pesce. It was perfection in a bowl. We ended with cappuccino and various dessert offerings. Tiramisu was spot on. The staff and the owner were engaging and made you feel like family. The restaurant has a cozy yet elegant feel. This will be in our rotation.

We were delighted to visit la voglia again for another Christmas celebration (this time at the italian restaurant which we had been at before). We made a reservation for 6 in advance and the staff was very accomodating. The service as always was very good. The Christmas decor really brightened up the place and the fact that it was snowing this day made it all the better. The food was also very good, this time I tried the Shrimp Risotto which was delicious, but my husband ordered the Ossobuco which was superb so I might just order that one next time. All of our friends experiences La Voglia for the first time this day and they were all delighted! Another wonderful experience, highly recommend.

The food had both highlights and disappointments: * Lobster Ravioli: Tasted very good, although the portion was small. The sauce was flavorful and enjoyable. * Cioppino: This was the standout dish of the evening. It was loaded with delicious seafood, and while the pasta was slightly overcooked, it was still a very good meal. * Penne alla Vodka: The sauce was delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, but we still enjoyed the dish overall. * Caprese Salad: This was disappointing. The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with excellent service and some very flavorful dishes, but consistency in the food and pasta preparation could be improved.

The menu has many interesting items and the shared appetizers were a good start. The Arancini was very good as was the Special Grilled Octopus in a Hummus Salad. There were 4 of us and we all felt that the entrees were good but didn't rise to what our expectations were, based on other reviews. The Lobster Gnocchi was good but seemed to be missing the lobster. The best part of the Scallop Risotto was the perfectly seared Scallops but the risotto itself was just ok. The Fiochi di Pere was good but overall didn't have all that much flavor. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very generous portion of chicken and pasta but the Italian seasoning was almost overpowering. I don't like writing reviews like this but like I said, we're in the minority review-wise on this one. Give it a try. Our experience just wasn't as good as what we expected.

I had already had chicken cheesesteak a few weeks prior with Door Dash and it was really good Last week I tried to place an order directly with the store but a recording said to order with the Slice app. I ordered their chicken alfredo for 21.95. However you had to choose the sauce for an additional $3.95. Also I got mushrooms for $1. I order garlic knots for 50 cents but they gave me a loaf of garlic bread which was burnt for an additional $5.00. My bill was over $31 and there was no chicken on the chicken alfredo. I called then to advise all these mistakes. They offered to remake it and/or adjust my bill when I came into the store again. ???? They told me they had new staff who was not sure how to enter my order. They have lots to improve upon. I don't live in that area but my son does. I won't be going back regardless. Lombardi's Caesar is nothing special. They need to experiment with dressings and come up with something better. Eggplant parm was good -- I like when it's thin and a little crisp -- and T enjoyed Chicken Siciliana prepared with peppers, mushrooms and capers. (I'm surprised they don't serve spaghetti with every entree. Really, how much would a commercial supply of pasta cost the restaurant?! Their $4 upcharge is excessive.) We shared dessert, chocolate peanut butter cake -- sort of like a large cupcake --that was mediocre, also excessively priced at $9. What I DID like is that Lombardi's is byob, without a corkage fee.
