Nice and calm place to drink a beer or two while shopping at the outlet stores. Good selection of tasty beers. Friendly staff quick to answer questions and pour beer. Good selection of shirts and hats to purchase. Plenty of packaged beer available for sale. Very family oriented with families with small children. For munchies they have some chips and pretzles on site for sale. Well lit with a nice large window for watching shoppers go by.

Great little spot. I went specifically for one bourbon barrel aged Porter they brought back while I just happened to be visiting Williamsburg. It was worth the stop for that beer alone, but their menu was very diverse and really everything was good. We happened to hit Halloween music trivia night, so I don't know if it's always that crowded or just happened to be that night. We got the last couple seats in the house. It's not a cancel place, just a spot in strip mall type building, but still comfortable. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Oh, seemed like they had a LOT of merchandise too if you like that kinda thing from your breweries.

Wonderfully crafted beer with unique flavor notes and lots of space, Alewerks L.A.B. features a sizeable draft menu (for a microbrewery) and quite a few surprises when it comes to options. They also have food! They advertise a good amount of events each weekday and seem to put an emphasis on drink specials and bingo. I ordered a flight (slightly pricey for 3-6 beers) but every one stood out from the usual array of options locally. I would highly recommend trying this location if you're visiting, since it has some exclusive options from the normal taproom, and is close to lots of shopping/dining options.

They also came with fries or onion rings, funnel cake fries, and a drink of your choice. Two of the guys had the root beer and said it was pretty good. Now as for the dogs, the two guys that had the coneys were happy with them, although one was hoping for a little more spice from the chili, but it was by no means bad. The burnt ends dog was said to be pretty freaking good. As for the American dog, we'll that was a different story. It wasn't a bad dog, but it tasted like it had been boil cooked and not cooked on the griddle. Additionally, it wasn't really that warm. I guess warm is a good description for it. It would have been better if it was hot and you could see some cooking marks on it. Alas, it was and had neither. But again, it wasn't a bad dog, but it could have been much better. The onion rings were pretty tasty though, as were the funnel cake fries and crinkle cut fries. This night was Wednesday, so it was trivia night. At 6:30. At about 6:00 people really started to come in, and by 6:30, the place was packed. Guess trivia night is a big hit... The people working there were super friendly and you fealt as if they were happy to be there. I would have given it 5 stars, but tbe warm dog just brought my experience down a bit. But don't let that stop you from going there, because you'll probably have a good time with good food and good people.

The brewery is large, clean, colorful, spacious and inviting. It's uniquely decorated. Think taxidermy animals on the wall but half car couches. My family really enjoyed out trip to SB. First off, it was a quiet day. The bartender, a young guy, was super helpful. Flights of 10? Made my husband happy. I can't lie, there were 2 beers I wanted to taste. I like sours. The more they are reds and green, I usually like them. I can share the lucky charms one was not for me. The Welch's jelly sour was a win with me! Lots of merch to choose from. My husband got a really interesting scientist hat. Another win- they sell juice boxes for kids! All this place needs is some food. True score: 3.75

There were a lot of drink options, but not many snacks, so if you come here, eat before or have a plan to grab food after. I got the Sapphire Robot, which was sweet without being overwhelming. As someone who doesn't like beer that much, this was perfect. The decor was strange, which works for the name, but it put off my friends. If a ton of taxidermy bothers you, maybe skip it.

The dog, while flavorful in terms of the seasoning, was saturated with grease. And there was no pretzel around this dog. Instead, it was like a brittle puff pastry. Once again, there is no sign that anyone in this establishment understands how a pretzel differs from other bread items. In Germany, this would have been a crime. But the most embarrassing part was the side of potato chips. When I saw them in the storage bin they were being kept in for service, I thought they looked gross. In my basket, they looked worse. Overcooked if not burned. My wife at a couple. I ate one and tossed the rest. Absolutely vile. How a food service manager in that establishment would allow those chips to be served to (over)paying guests is beyond me. Again, like in the other BG eateries I visited, no one cares, no effort is made, and no pride is taken. The guests deserve better standards and some effort to demonstrate that BG appreciates their businesses.

However, the product itself is very tasty. The employees are friendly and helpful if not a little rushed. The outdoor seating area is a nice place to enjoy a pretzel and a drink under the shade. All told, it's one of the least expensive places to eat in the Busch Gardens park ecosystem, but it's still expensive.

I was tasked with phoning in the reservation (thankfully the meal went better than that debacle)and since we were dining early it wasn't an issue. First of all, there are two places in the property; the Tavern and 5 Fields pizza and beer. We dined at the Tavern. GORGEOUS garden lining the old farmhouse! We went in and were seated inside right away. As it was almost 100 today it was ideal seating. The decore is well.... different. Where we sat was a truck grill from 1928, and there was more of a sports motiff. (If you go and sit in the same room, let me know if you can spot the crooked pic!) Once again, my curse at remembering names of the servers has hit again which is a real sham because she was beyond AWESOME. She was VERY patient with my extremely frustrating mum which was nice. We both got this truly genius idea of an appetizer to start; a veggie boat with a ranch style dressing. Omg it was perfect. Warm day, cruciferous veggies, ice cold drinks. Heaven. Next came the burgers, she got the Tavern burger, I got the Charles City burger. The Tavern has cheddar cheese and bacon, the Charles City has bree cheese and this creamy mojo ajo aoli along with fried shallots....there is probably more but all I know is that I feel like an idiot never having triple creme bree on a burger before. I have to take a moment to also inform you that they make the BEST Cosmo outside of NYC. Perfectly blended and chilled, and just strong enough to celebrate a Friday night. Yowza! One.more thing. They tempted me with a scoop of their home made butter pecan ice cream. I just want to move in and become one with this place it was so good. I haven't had butter pecan this good in 50 years!! After this essay I guess you could say that I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It's in a beautiful area, lots of parking, great food & ambiance. I couldn't find a single fault.
