Enjoyed this family-friendly spot near the outlets. The spaghetti and meatballs hit the spot, sauce was not too sweet which I appreciated. My friend had the seafood pasta and she said the pasta was perfect but much of the seafood was overcooked. Would come back and try something else next time.

This Italian restaurant offers a warm and pleasant dining experience with soft lighting and tasteful decor. The food came out quickly and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The flavors were tasty. Service was good. We saw many small families with children and even larger groups enjoying their meal. This is a wonderful date night option, as well. Glad we chose Olde Towne Pizza and Pasta for our dinner tonight!

We stopped in after a long day to enjoy some pasta. The portions are the same as other places. The calamari pasta was not great. The calamari was definitely overcooked and rubbery. My husband enjoyed his lasagna. Our friends really enjoyed their dishes especially the lemon chicken pasta. The food, for me, was average. The restaurant was informal, good for families and the server was great and attentive. I would probably try something else if I ever had to come back if I was with a group but would probably try somewhere else if I had a choice.

A local favorite and yes I'm glad I stop in. The meat lovers one word wow. It's full of flavor and well there's plenty to go around. The staff were quick and friendly.

The whole group silent bc they are stuffing their face with some great food

Food was amazing. We came with a very large group of people. All staff there were very accommodating, super friendly and the pizza was in my top 5 for best ever and may be number 1. Great place for some great food and a reasonable price. Thank you guys for doing a great job.

Look folks, this place is a hidden gem. Great food. Large portions. Even the napkins were huge. To top it off, we got a military discount.

You will ordinarily find good food here, their prices are above standard. $35 for a large pizza is excessive.

    Cheesesteak

This review is based on the one and only menu item we tried, which was the Philly Cheesesteak. The husband was craving one and this came up in a Google search as the 2nd best cheesesteak in the burg, but sadly it was not so good! Btw, the first place was closed! First off not much meat and it was kind of tough. Also not enough cheese. The bread was also not that good. Overall a huge letdown, especially when you are hoping for a good cheesesteak.

We stopped in for lunch before outlet shopping and are so glad we did. The food is good and the portions are large (even the lunch specials). The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking available and while a little off the path, you could walk from the outlets to this restaurant if needed. Also, make sure to save room for dessert - the zeppoles are so delicious!

We needed an outlet break and this was perfect. It's not in the outlets, but right across the street; short ride. It's in a strip mall with a paint store next door. The atmosphere is generic 90's Italian restaurant. Old fashioned booths with acrylic water glasses. We came for lunch and the lunch menu is decent. I ordered a slice of pizza with house salad. The salad was tiny, but pizza slice was large. Pizza was not amazing, but good. My daughter got lunch pasta with tomato sauce and meatball. She enjoyed it, although she still said my spaghetti with meat sauce is better. That is super sweet, but I want restaurant food to be better than what we make at home. My younger one ordered kids pasta with Alfredo. Somehow that is actually $11.99, which is more than all the lunch items. Order fail on my part. She liked the dish; it's very rich and creamy. I gained 2 pounds having a few bites. Overall, solid lunch choice.

I decided to stop here after shopping at the outlets and took a look at the menu beforehand. I was happy to see they served stromboli. I ordered the meat lovers stromboli and some drinks. I didn't want too much due to it being lunchtime. This stromboli was surprising big and full of meat, cheese, and sauce. You don't need any extra sauce but they will give you a side of sauce if you ask. The cheese and sauce were delicious. I wish this place was in Richmond so I could visit more often. Service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. The restaurant was super cute with unique decor such as the wine racks on the walls above the lamps.

First, let me tell you little about myself and my wife. We are both retired. Travel extensively…read moredomestically and internationally. Where we travel to, we research the restaurants using various apps. Travel Advisor. Yelp. Google. DuckDuck. We check the number of reviews and what they say. In the reviews about the restaurant. Service. Food. Cleanliness. Quality. Price. After a check mark for each, we travel to the restaurant. Sometimes we check the time and the number of cars in the parking lot. If a few. We leave. If many. We stay. It's what we do. It works well for us. Not wealthy. Love bargains when we can find them. Get excited about a good deal: quality and price. While in Williamsburg, VA we researched and found Francisco's. The restaurant checked all the boxes for us. Not really an Italian food fan for a number of reasons. I'll explain later. The parking lot was full of cars. That was good. We were a little leery because the restaurant was in a strip center and looked very small. When we opened the first door, a woman opened a second door for us and we just knew we were in the right place. OMG! The smells! I wanted food then and there. The venue was small but full of people. Maybe 12 tables in the whole place. The majority against the wall with a few tables in the middle isle. Waiters and waitresses were flying all around. Food was everywhere. We were seated immediately and asked about our drinks. The food smells were killing me. I asked the waitress (Brie) about some of the dishes she brought out. She was direct and explained each dish. The menu's (yes, there were two. One with the specials and one normal). Both were pretty extensive. Also was handed the wine list. While we were looking at the menu, a man came by and explained the menu specials. He explained in such detail, I wanted all of it. We decided on the Arancini Piccolini to start and for our main course my wife and I would share an order of Buco Marsala (one of the specials). I also learned Francesco's had Barberra wine. OMG! I have rarely seen Barberra in a restaurant. BTW, it's not on the Wine list. The man who described the specials came out of the back and asked how we knew they had Barbara. I told him, the waiter Eness told us. I was curious about the shadow boxes in the walls with a bottle of wine in them. The bottles had signatures and a year written on them. One of them was a bottle of Barbera. It was explained to me people come in celebrating their special event (birthday, anniversary, etc). Ask for a bottle of wine. They sign an date it. Goes in the wall. He smiled. Picked out a bottle from the wine rack and proceeded to open it for us. Impressive! Again, we felt like we were at home. The Piccolini came out shortly after that with a side of tomato sauce. Plenty of Piccollini. They were delicious. Dunking each in the sauce and taking a bite. Repeat till gone. After the last one was eaten the Buco Marsala and garlic bread came. I could smell it before it hit the table. The pork was cooked to perfection. Fell off the bone. The pasta was thick and was homemade. Not boxed. The sauce boosted the pork to another level. Not heavy, but light. Again, bite, dip in the sauce. Eat. Repeat. The flavors "hand-shook" with each other. Next we placed an order for Italian Ameretto Disaronno. A delicious cake with liquor on the side. Again, bite. Eat. Drink. Repeat. During our entire meal, the young man, the waitress and waiter would stop by and ask "Any questions? Anything we can get for you? Do you need anything?" I wanted to say, "Stop! This is too much!" But, I didn't. lol. Give me more. After dinner, my wife and I spoke to the young man (Vinnie). Turned out to be the son of owner, Francisco. He asked me about the food. I told him all three courses caused us to have a food-gasm. A few more things. They also serve spaghetti and pizza. Remember I mentioned earlier I wasn't a fan of Italian food? The reason is two-fold. I usually end up getting a red sauce that gives me heart burn and pasta that's been sitting out for a while. Not the case here. We read the reviews online for Francisco's. Many of them gave the restaurant a low rating for such things as bad tasting food. Very poor service. High prices. Phffffft! People!!! These reviews were from two to four years ago. I wasn't around then, but I can tell you the restaurant is far from bad food and poor service now. Bravo to Francisco's (Francisco, Vinnie, Eness, Brie and the entire staff). Roba fantastica!!

The waitstaff, hostess, and management all seemed genuinely invested in providing great service and were consistently pleasant throughout our visit. What really left an impression was a small act of kindness from the woman in charge. It was 98 degrees outside, and after leaving the restaurant, I found myself running back in for another sip of water after realizing just how thirsty I was from the heat. Seeing this, she went out of her way to make sure I had a fresh ice water before I left. It was a simple gesture, but those are often the moments people remember most. As a side note, the water itself was surprisingly good quality. The pizza has a distinctive style, and it is one I thoroughly enjoyed. The crust is soft, airy, slightly chewy, and buttery, making it incredibly easy to keep eating. The tomato sauce provides a pleasant tang that complements the cheese nicely, but the basil is what truly stands out. Despite there being only a few thin slices scattered across the top, its flavor seemed to permeate the entire pizza and tie everything together. The combination of tangy sauce, fresh mozzarella, and aromatic basil felt balanced and intentional. At just $12 for an entire pizza, it was also an excellent value. For my entrée, I ordered the sirloin steak and shrimp and finished every bite. The vegetables and shrimp had a flavor profile that landed somewhere between steamed and grilled, which I found very enjoyable. The caramelized bits on the vegetables were especially delicious, particularly on the onions. I also loved the mushrooms, broccoli, and cauliflower and honestly wished there had been more of them. The carrots and squash were less impressive and seemed more steamed than grilled. The shrimp was easily my favorite part of the dish. It was fresh, large, succulent, and perfectly tender without being tough or chewy. If I had one suggestion, it would be a bit more sear and perhaps a touch more butter or seasoning to enhance the flavor even further. I also would have liked more than three shrimp, especially at the $30 price point. Six shrimp would have felt more proportional to the rest of the dish. While the steak portion was much more generous, I genuinely enjoyed the shrimp far more. The steak was good and certainly satisfying, but it did not quite reach the level I would expect from a dedicated steakhouse. After trying a bite of my brother's seafood risotto, which struck a perfect balance between creamy richness and fresh seafood flavor, I found myself wishing I had ordered one of the restaurant's seafood-focused dishes instead. The Salmone Aurora, featuring crabmeat and scallops for the same price, immediately caught my attention. Based on what I tasted, seafood appears to be where this restaurant truly excels, and that is likely the direction I will go on my next visit. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience. The service was exceptional, the pizza was memorable, and the seafood left me eager to return and explore more of the menu. While the steak was solid, the seafood dishes seem to be where this restaurant truly shines. Between the attentive service, thoughtful hospitality, and delicious food options I would happily dine here again.

We started with an appetizer of fried lasagna, a glass of red wine, and a pitcher of sangria, which were all good. The ambiance was quiet and reserved as we went late afternoon on a Saturday, which was a good time. We ordered the never ending pasta bowl which included various pasta with different sauces (additional cost for chicken and other proteins). I got the spaghetti with meat sauce, followed by the rigatoni with a spicy red sauce. Others got the fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce (added chicken for an additional cost). The pastas were fresh and delicious. We love the grated cheese that is always offered to top your meal! The spicy red sauce was my favorite! And of course, the tossed salad and garlic breadsticks were as good as ever. I couldn't eat all of my second round of pasta and ended up bringing it home (it reheated well!) All in all, a great meal as always.
