The first time was due to my parked car being vandalized. The last two occasions were a result of my catalytic converter being stolen. After the 1st cat theft, however, I brought my car to a different nearby insurance company repair shop, which ended up not a good experience. During the over 7 months it took to get the cat, I had to repeatedly follow up observing that shop wasn't actively checking on the part's availability with their supplier. So on the 2nd cat theft, I instead brought it to Gotham. As with my first Gotham experience, they were on top of things, quickly repairing the vehicle. Less than three months later when victim of a 3rd cat theft, Gotham rapidly inspected the car and did their best to keep the repair bill down. Nevertheless, the estimate ended up triggering the insurance company totaling my car. Sensitive to my frustrating situation, the team at Gotham was professional, courteous, attentive and accommodating - like every experience with them. Gotham thankfully made a difficult situation easier to get through. Should my next car require similar big repair work, I'd consider using them again.

So now I have two mirrors that don't match. So I ask them to fix this with two mirrors that match, another week passes and finally get the car. I thought ok they finally fixed it, we can move on & all is well. Then, this week I get a notice of an unpaid ticket in the mail and the street markings/date are while this car was at this shop. They parked it during street sweeping and didn't bother paying the ticket or telling me about it. So now I'm stuck with a ticket, a mirror that still doesn't quite match the other one, and a month of a hassle over getting..an oil change.

It was almost 6pm, and I was panicking about how to get this window fixed as fast as possible. However, most local spots were closing soon or had already closed. With Yelp at the helm and our car insurance on the line, we came across New and Used. Admittedly, this spot looks a bit... shaddy. Frankly, if I hadn't been so desperate, I might not have taken the plunge. But they were open and ready to talk directly with our insurance (three-way call FTW) and pretty clear about what to expect the next day. It seems one way they keep prices down is not to have all the glass on site, but they told us they would call us the next morning after getting the appropriate piece of glass for our relatively common car. They did call within that expected time frame, and they completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. The waiting area wasn't so great, but there are places within walking distance around you can wait or grab some food. I'm very thankful for this spot and being able to accommodate us. They really reduced the stress of a stressful situation.
