I took a very long time deciding, but they were very patient and told me not to worry and to do what I want. Both Alex and Kiki have very professional skills and finished in a timely manner. I didn't fell bored or uncomfortable at all. They offered me water and make sure I was doing okay every 20 mins-ish. The vibe at the salon was great, there was nice background music played. What really bothered me was the membership program. I was encouraged to prepay $2,000 with the promise of a 20% discount on future services. Like many customers, I found the discount attractive and signed up. Recently, I had an appointment but was unable to make it due to an urgent work issue. Instead of showing understanding, I was told that I would be charged $10 per minute for missing the appointment, and the money would be deducted directly from my prepaid membership balance. The biggest problem is that this policy was never clearly explained when I signed up for the membership. At no point was I informed about a $10-per-minute no-show charge or that money could be deducted from my prepaid balance in this way. When I requested a refund of my remaining membership balance, I was initially told that the salon would recalculate all my previous visits at full price and deduct the discounts I had received, meaning I would not receive a full refund. They did a fully refund because of me want to file a complaint from the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs. Don't let their promotional offers and sales tactics fool you.

After not having bleached in over 10 years, I wanted a balayage for a natural look and blending at the roots with my natural m, since it's so difficult to maintain my hair being a FT working mom. She suggested airtouch for a softer grow out while making sure I keep my hair healthy (without too much bleach). She absolutely delivered on technique, but I initially wasn't happy with how dark the result came out. BUT what really set Anckley apart is how she handled that moment. She was SO understanding and kind, zero judgment, and wasted no time squeezing me in to remove the darker toner and apply a toner shade much closer to what I had originally envisioned. She walked me through the entire process, explained exactly what she would do, and reassured me that my hair would not be further damaged by removing the previous toner and adding a lighter one. She used Olaplex and even did a hair treatment to make sure my hair looks and stays healthy, so you know she's investing in the health of your hair, not just the look. She was warm and professional throughout the entire appointment, always checking in, offering water and snacks, and making you feel genuinely taken care of.
