Amazing experience with Dalia so kind and did exactly what I needed. I came in with damaged dry hair that had been dyed red with Henna but she was able to remove most of it and add blended highlights. I love it so much thank you again!!

Came to Dalia's four years ago and my hair situation was not to my liking , every time i would color and highlight it would turn to orange/brassy color until finally Dalia took out the brown color and decided to highlight my hair on my natural color , it was the best thing anyone had done to my hair . She's very careful in using and mixing her products and would warn you before of any harm that might occur to the hair if she finds it damaged , she never rushes me and i always get her full attention , she never double book her clients and is very friendly and funny i love her , i tried going and trying to color my hair once elsewhere but i couldn't but return to her

Dalia did a wonderful job getting me glammed up with hair and makeup for a formal South Asian wedding. The eye makeup, in particular, was exactly what I wanted, dramatic gold but still elegant. I did find her cheek contour a bit too dark for my taste, so I blended some color blush into it. But otherwise her makeup was spot on and perfect for the event. I loved my hair too! She also did a brilliant job of hair and makeup on my sister and mom. I will definitely use her services again.

I went in on Oct 15th with Dalia for a 9am appointment. I got there a bit early and she was already there and ready for me. Very friendly and very welcoming. The salon was gorgeous and she did things so smoothly and in a great timely fashion. It didn't even feel as long she was so fun. My hair after was so smooth and nicely styled with a nice shine to it. She did fine. The whole process felt a little rushed and she's cash only apparently. I disclosed my feeling about my hair and she promised she knew what hairstyle would suit me best. However, I felt discouraged when she blew dry my hair after cutting it and proceeding to rewash my hair and re-blow drying it. I would not recommend her for cutting Asian hair. read more

Dalia is the most professional hair stylist around. She is fun and she is always very sweet. She took extra care of my hair ( as in looking fabulous and health wise), and gave me the best treatment (she would spend twice the required amount of time just so the results would be extra-amazing). She made a plan to make sure I would get the results I wanted and made real expectation. She also takes care to listen to my wishes and is always kind,warm and never rude. I was referred to Dalia a few months ago when my hair dresser decided to take a break from hair. I was gutsy enough to do some thing that I've never done before with her because she made me feel very comfortable! I have course had a million questions for her and Dalia was patient with me the entire time and answered all of my questions precisely. I went from dark brunette to full light golden blonde highlights throughout my hair but i wanted to do it gradually that way my hair didn't get damaged and Dalia did just that! Salon was very clean, Dalia was wearing a mask the entire time, they limit the guest capacity inside and they cleaned in between every customer. I came to this salon because I was told the owner can do my hair.... As soon as I got there She started working on my hair & I let her know it was damaged and she still kept working on my hair and didn't even complete it. I was told that my hair couldn't be finished after everything was already done so she basically took my money and trimmed my hair( and charged me for that without even letting me know) . $50 ! for a " trim" .. This was completely unnecessary and very disrespectful. I was originally quoted $300-$400 for two hair pieces to be lightened, with no color, trim, or additional services included. When I arrived, the price suddenly increased to over $700, and I was told that $400 was "just the starting point," which had never been mentioned before. She also removed my extensions but did not reinstall them, yet still charged me. She made it clear she didn't know how to work with the type of extensions I had, which was frustrating because I just placement them recently. Overall, her customer service skills were extremely lacking. The experience felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and far below what any client should expect. I would NOT recommend this salon, especially if you value clear communication, fair pricing, and basic respect. I'm not sure why Daniella contacted me via text versus another stylist but she did and she was kind and took me in the day after contacting me. She moved my appointment several times due to her forgetting she had a prior commitment which was fine with me and I was happy just to be seen so fast. I needed to be out by 2 since I had to work. I sent her what my hair looked like that same day she contacted me and I sent her an Inspo pic from the salon she works at. During the appointment she wanted to take pics for her content which I said yes to but I thought to myself... she knows I'm on a time crunch.. and this is cutting into my appointment time. The appointment was at 945 and I didn't have dye on my hair until 1015. That's 30 min. She did balayage on me. She checked the foils & said I needed a hair cut. I told her I didn't want one. She said too bad you're going to need it. I reminded her, I didn't not ask for one. She said whether you like it or not you need one etc. I asked her if my hair was broken due to the bleach and she said no, then quickly said well all hair breaks with bleach... right there and then I told her she didn't have to leave the foil on that long because I know my hair won't lift. She said she wanted to leave it on longer and wouldn't let me walk out like that because I was a representation of her work. I asked her why it was so light and orange and she said my root melt that we're going to do was going to fix that... It was obvious to me she over processed my hair and she kept pushing for a haircut because of her inexperience which resulted in my hair being fried I've decided to do my root melt and cover my grays the next day since it was getting late. I needed to go to work and she had another client that walked in for their appointment. She requested for me to pay her while she was still blowing my hair. She charges me 450$ and I left her a 20%tip. So I paid her 540. I did all of this while she was still blow drying my hair. She said I had to pay her upfront for the service before I left even through she wasn't finished covering my grays and doing a root melt. I've never had a stylist charge me for work they haven't even done. She should have charged me for the balayage then charged me for the rest the next day. I went to work and saw how bad my hair was. There was so much bleach on my hair when all I wanted was dark with dimension. My hair looked shorter, less volume and lighter. The breakage was evident. Next day: I asked her to tone my hair darker since it was too light. I asked for a 5 or 6 and she said it was too dark. I said I WANT IT DARK... I've been asking for dark brunette form the very begging. Anyway, as she was covering my grays I asked her if she could try not to get it on my face as much as possible since my skin absorbs dye quickly and obviously stains. She said well what do you want? Do you want me to cover your roots or not? Because I can't do both. Ok... I've said this to hairstylist before and they politely say ok I'll try my best.. she was very snippy and rude. I asked for a hair mask because my hair was very dry since the bleach yesterday and said she had to charge me. I told her if she couldn't be careful because she bleached my shirt the prior day and she said she wasn't doing bleach so I'll be fine.. ok but you still ruined my shirt... As she was covering my grays I asked her if the root melt was after... she said this is the root melt.. I was shocked because I've never had anyone do a root melt like that on me. I told her stylist usually cover my grays then do a root melt, she said this is how I do it I reached out to my friend that's a hair stylist and she was horrified to know she was doing this. Another one of my hair stylist friends said this : "root melt will not cover the "grey hair" bc it's "acidic based formula" it will just melt your highlights/ balayage. I usually do a grey coverage color tint in between my foils - when I'm highlighting. Some stylist do it before they start your balayage process. It just depends on the way the hairdresser works! 1 is acidic and grey coverage is alkaline based. You usually don't mix them until you shampoo the hair." When I asked her to please tone my hair darker she said she couldn't because it would turn warm and that's not what I wanted. I called my former hair stylist and she told her exactly what to do so my hair wouldn't turn warm. Well, as soon as she hung up, Daniella said "wow I've never had anyone tell me how to do my job" I told her "I've never had anyone mess up my hair before and try to charge me for a hair mask when they fried my hair" Then I asked to the salon owners information or managed. She said she'd gladly give it to me but NEVER DID. She finished my hair. I left with a "room melt" that wasn't done right. A stained shirt, no managers info.

Booking an appointment was easy on the website, but during the holidays, the schedule was booked up for about 2 weeks out. Jade Hair Studio is a suite located inside the Sola Salon Studios in a plaza off the Arrow Hwy exit of the 57 freeway. Parking is plenty in that plaza. Because of Covid, you have to dial into a intercom system to get a hold of your stylist to let you in since the front doors are locked. Waiting outside the Sola Salon doors was not the best during a rainy windy day and with transients walking around the plaza asking for change, but there are some salon owners who are nice and will let you wait inside the lobby area. Kim, the owner/stylist of Jade Hair Studio, is very friendly and easy to talk to. For the Brazilian Blowout treatment, if you have long hair, you should account for the entire 4 hours because she is meticulous and diligent with every strand. I really appreciated her being thorough. A week after the treatment, my hair still feels very soft and much less frizzy after blow drying. I got many compliments from coworkers about how shiny and healthy my hair looks. Hope to come back in a few months again for the hair treatment again!

Dalia is a true artist! I was looking to get my makeup done for my (postponed) college graduation ceremony and I'm so glad I found Dalia's listing on Yelp. I had never been to a salon for anything before except hairstyling and I was really nervous but Dalia helped me relax. She even took one look and had me get my eyebrows threaded (also first time). I got quite a few compliments that day, from a lady waiting her turn in the salon to some fellow college grads, and it was all worth it. She was so responsive and so kind to accommodate me very early in the morning. With all the wedding chaos, I was one of those bad clients running late, and she was very fast and efficient for me because she knew I had a busy day ahead! I had gotten a balayage done at a different salon that went horribly wrong, my hair was bright bleached blonde and like rough straw, I thought I would have to cut it all off it was so bad.
