It was last minute, about 30 minutes before closing, so I called ahead and then decided to go in. I'm really glad I did. I was helped by a young man named Guy, and he was outstanding. You could tell he genuinely cared about what he was doing. He asked thoughtful questions--whether I wanted LED or a traditional red bulb--and walked me through the pros and cons of each option in a way that actually made sense to someone like me. What really stood out was how hands-on he was. He picked out a few options, brought them to the counter, and used a socket setup to actually show me how each bulb looked when lit. Then he carefully explained the differences so I could make an informed decision. That level of service is rare. The store itself is incredible--if it exists in the world of lightbulbs, they have it. But what made the experience memorable was Guy. He was knowledgeable, polite, enthusiastic, and took real pride in helping a customer. You just don't see that level of care as often anymore. I'm old enough to say "back in the day," and honestly, this felt like that kind of customer service--where someone actually takes the time to help and make sure you get exactly what you need. They were ultimately too bright so we exchanged them for a lower wattage and he happily helped us. The other employees are really kind as well and greeted us even though we were already being assisted. Will definitely come back!
