I think this is my fifth trip to Alex's place. I specifically went on Friday night for the prime rib. waitress was super friendly and came right over to me. Prime rib was very good and it came with mashed potatoes which there were a lot of them and they were good. Only drawback I would say was there was no vegetable or salad included. For that price I thought there should've been something else, but I'm not complaining as I was plenty when I was done. read more

In response to the man who was there on a Monday night and Trivia was there.....that was a one night deal. They opened their doors to us because the Nauti Oar (down the street) had to close due to plumbing problems. We were a very unexpected crowd.....please give them another try. The prime rib is excellent even if it is pricey. Friendly wait staff and were attentive when I saw their sign. It is to my undethat I must wait until 5pm to order the prime rib on Fridays only. The eating establishment looks like a quaint house and glad to try this out as a new Florida resident. read more

Food was great. I had a burger and my wife had the fried chicken sandwich. Super fresh veggies on the sandwiches. Fries were hot and crispy. Waitress was prompt and very nice. Place was filled with friendly locals just having a good time on a Saturday evening. Will definitely come back. read more

A nice little neighborhood place. Service was great and the prime rib was perfectly cooked and not much fat on it. I ordered the 12 ounce one and couldn't finish it. The baked potato was hot with lots of butter and sour cream on it. All in all a fantastic meal! read more

We found this restaurant while searching yelp for a restaurant close to the auto repair shop Alex place was three minutes away and had great reviews so we thought we would give it a try. We where not disappointed the waitress Farnaz was awesome and very sincere in recommending what was on the menu. We split our meal which consisted of beef barley soup and chicken fajita which was more then enough for my wife and I Both where excellent choices and very tasty. We plan to be back to try there prime rib on Friday which also has high marks. We highly recommend this restaurant as the food and service was great. read more

The waitress was nice. But when we walked in we had to get her attention. You sit where you want she said. If you're old and have all the time in the world, come here ‍. We came here after work. So I was here at 6:30. I had 1 full beer, and the appetizers were 30 min, I asked for another beer. She brought the appetizers. At 7:45 she brought my chicken and o just told her I'd take it to go. My boyfriends food never came out with mine. I told her to pack it all. They need more waitresses. There was 1 the whole night to tend to the bar and patrons. First time and last time. I will not be back. It's Friday night currently 8pm. We had fried mushrooms and onion rings, they're ok, the Italian wedding soup was good. The rest is being packed to go lol. We tried this restaurant for the first time last week after reading reviews. Although the food we ordered was good, there were several things that we felt were not. The restaurant did not enforce a mask wearing requirement when entering the building, nor did the staff wear any. The floor under empty tables was littered with food. The window sills were dirty and had tiny bugs crawling on them. The baseboards were dirty. It made us wonder what the kitchen might look like. Needless to say, we will not patronize this restaurant again, nor will we recommend it to anyone. read more

Based on the high reviews and the fact that every other place seemed to be closed either temporarily or permanently, we chose this place. Upon walking in it was empty and had a weird smell. Kinda old and musty but yet somehow comforting too. Maybe a bit like your grandmas house. It has a weird layout as well. The waitress was prompt and super friendly. We both ordered burgers based on the reviews. The food took a bit to get to the table The burger was good. Nothing extraordinary but good. Tastes like a grilled burger. The fries tasted like frozen ones. The plates the food was served on also look like your grandmas All in all okay. Nothing I would seek out though. read more

We love this family owned restaurant! Service is always friendly, food is always good, and the atmosphere makes me feel at home and it's not too noisy. 1st off they have the best dang French onion soup you'll ever taste, the split pea with ham is yummy and bursting with flavor too. They make their own balsamic dressing which my family LOVES! Also their white fish and chicken tenders are really good... And their chargrilled burgers are always a great choice. It has been a few years since I have placed any comments on Alex's Place. This has become a regular weekly event for my wife and I, and we have no trouble convincing friends to join us. After all these years, I just don't seem to get tired of the great food that you find in this little out of the way place. I am not going to say they have the best burgers in the world, but I can honestly say that I have never had one better. Get the French fries and real onion rings extra crispy if you are into that like me. The Friday night prime rib special is excellent, but it is best to call ahead to reserve a slice (comes in two sizes). I would recommend getting the au jus on the side as it can be quite salty. Oh, I cannot end this without highly recommending a Farnazarita (this is just what I call it as it is made by the owner's (Mom) daughter who is named Farnaz...you will not be disappointed!!!! read more

Went here a couple of months ago and really liked their burger. My wife had the Philly cheese steak and thought it was cooked very well.
