I talked to multiple contractors - some who just didn't call back, a few who said they couldn't (wouldn't) build the fence I wanted, and frankly, a few that I just didn't like. Gerardo showed up, chatted with me about what I wanted, took measurements, and gave me a bid on the spot. I was moving into a house I was rehabbing and needed a portion of this fence done right away because I have a dog and he hustled to not only build the new portion I needed, but went out of his way to do some repairs on the existing fence to keep my dog safe and secure. He and the people working for him showed a lot of attention to detail, checked in with me often about the project to make sure it was coming along and looking as I expected, and every day at the end of the day the work site was clean and organized. I'm planning some plant installations and a new deck and Gerard's Landscaping is going to be my first call!

They sent me a very lengthy message. Whoever was responding, was in the field and took time out to respond and didnt like that I had not done my due diligence. They told me that the market has changed and they need their customers to do some research. Then they gave me an arbutrary deadline to join a COMPLIMENTARY 10min call. The number of red flags in 1 message exchange. First of all, if you are in the field don't respond to the message or hire someone who can do it without getting upset that their customer do not know what they need.

They took my inspiration photos and a sketch, and they manifested it into a natural-looking design that is well integrated in our existing yard. From the moment I reached out, Ghee promptly communicated back with detailed answers over the phone and/or text. We locked in scope, and the estimate he provided was reasonable. It was on the high end compared to other bids, but his communication and experience led us to go with him. And good thing we did. The resulting project is beautiful. We got large granite rocks, river rock, and a liner underneath all for $4K. Much of that was material cost. The labor they put in was 2.5 days. Definitely hard work to dig out the pond and move the large rocks in place. The crew also was friendly and kept the site clean every day. I'd definitely hire Fire Sparrow Landscaping again.

The first project involved installing a new sprinkler system, 6,000sq of sod, and planting hedges -- all were completed with great care and efficiency. Recently, JJ and his team returned to tackle a much larger job spanning across two+ acres, which included clearing dense blackberry brush and an old hay field, re-grading the driveway, laying bark, building a new flower bed, trimming trees and shrubs, and refreshing the flower beds around our home. The transformation was incredible! JJ's quotes are very fair and reasonable especially considering the scope and detail of the work required. Santiago and his crew did an amazing job on my project! I had some drainage issues along the back of my yard and decided to have a French drain and raised bed around the perimeter of my yard. These guys came in and dug out about a foot or more of the bad dirt, installed a drain and erected stone blocks for the raised bed and filled in with good quality soil and mulch. The end result looks awesome and I look forward to spending many nights in the back yard looking at how nice it is.
