We followed him to Rogue Dog from Krisers. Rogue Dog is a smaller full service salon where the groomer can focus on one dog at a time. We get so many compliments on their grooming after they visit Bruno, especially from their daycare staff. Bruno has great attention to detail and really cares about the dog. He allows them to shine.

Other times, I feel like the price is double for no legitimate reason (she does not mat much, and if so, it's on her belly which is always shaved anyway), and my dog comes out with battle wounds. I understand groomers are different, but to not have a consistent experience at a business specializing in grooming is stressful for both me and my dog. To be charged nearly $200 for a 21 lb dog who comes out harmed is not ok. I don't feel confident to trust the experience that would also make my dog anxious about going to the groomers

Both of our cats had plenty of room to move around. They were fed per our instructions, played with and visited every day which we could see on the webcam in their room. One of our cats is just 7 / 8 months old (looks full grown but still a kitten) is very timid around new people and would hide, but they still reached out to pet him and said he would purr (he has a loud purr). However, I got this dog sweater from this location and thought maybe my dog would wear it once or twice for pics but never again. (I'm not a huge fan of dogs wearing clothes, but I had to admit a noticeable difference with my short-haired dog not shivering during winter months while wearing two separate coats. So I backed down on making fun of dog coats. My two larger, furrier dogs in prior years never needed manmade coats.) But this sweater is turning into a Linus blanket situation. I tried putting on a "Christmas" dog coat that matched her red Xmas collar (I love festive dog collars!!!), but it was white and getting dirty too quickly. I took it off to handwash it and put the Bark Place pink sweater on my dog solely for one walk, and she's been running away ever since when I try to take it off at night. At one point, she slid under one of the bar stools in my dining room, around the corner, ran into my bedroom and into her crate, flopping down sideways. Even if you don't need anything else in Bark Place, take note of the dog clothes. A bunch of my relatives crochet and knit, so I already knew the dog sweater was solid quality but expected it to wear. It still looks brand new, and my dog is glued to it. When I take it off to bathe her or what I *think* is comfier to sleep at night, she growls and leaps for it. I think a pink sweater and a red bow collar clash, but she couldn't care less about me being the fashion police. I'm tickled by how much she likes THIS particular sweater but has never ever been this into any other dog clothes gift (that I usually return) in four straight years. Don't sleep on the dog sweaters, I guess, unless you're my own dog who will turn over sideways so she CAN sleep in hers.

Nicole is so calm, and my dog that suffers from anxiety loves her. He has to be muzzled. Nicole does not have to muzzle him, he loves her. My other dog loves her also. Today I had my 13-year old Havanese groomed at Rover's Place, and I'm thrilled…read more After a brutal groom at Wags on Willow (reviewed separately), our vet suggested Rover's, and I'm so glad. My senior dog can't take epic grooming sessions, and her hair was choppy and uneven after her last groom. Her ears and tail had been weirdly shaved, and I wasn't sure we'd be able to make her look normal again during her lifetime. The staff at Rover's is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The groomer we saw today has been grooming for 18 years, and had my sweet pup groomed in 45 minutes--and it's the best cut she's had in years. She did what she could to round out her ears, and to help set her up with a cut she can grow back into and look like herself again. My dog is fluffy, soft, adorable, and HAPPY! As a side note, all of the groomers there today were being so warm and friendly with the dogs in their care. I even saw one groomer sitting on the floor keeping a dog company while it waited for its owner. We will be going to Rover's for our grooming from now on!!

It's often too many for him or her to control. One family member compared Rover's Place to a shelter because the dogs are put into crates more often than they should be. Our dog enjoys going to Rover's Place, finds ways to have fun with the other dogs and comes home tired however, we were hoping that there would be additional open space for the dogs to run around.
