Got my car back and it ran like crap. Felt like a cable was slapping around, back up lights did not work (They did prior) and the clutch chattered a lot. They told me to let the clutch slip and it would wear down. Brought it to Bob's Automotive in Sunrise. They told me the transmission mount was ruptured, the transmission was only held in with three bolts, the throw out bearing was never changed and my clutch cable was extremely loose. The pressure plate was warped and the back up switch was damaged. Had to re-pay to have the transmission done again. Car runs great now. I also paid less for a new clutch and labor then Gold Coast charged me for just labor...so not a good experience.

After being told at a high end shop that it was probably the transmission pump and it would run about $1700 to $1900, I decided to take it somewhere else. I advised this high end shop that it may be the tranny fluid and to please check this first; however, was told that the fluid level was fine. I was referred to WiWi's by a nearby shop and when I arrived I was greeted by WiWi himself! He took me for a spin and immediately mentioned that it was probably the fluid level. He pulled the car around back while we chatted, asked his employee to top of the transmission fluid. What came next shocked me! His co- worker states "I don't know how this car was running, it just took 5 quarts of transmission fluid". I was shocked!!! The best part about it was that when I asked WiWi what I owed him, he said nothing just buy me an expresso and we call it even. Unbelievable!!! I didn't know honest people like this still existed in the auto business! WiWi's shop will always be recommended by me moving forward. P.S. I am at a bakery buying pastelitos and expresso for my new friends. :)

I hate writing bad reviews but frankly for the amount of money I was charged they deserve…read moreit.....I'm gonna keep this as short as possible ...I bought a truck with slot of miles on it and after only.using it for a few months my transmission went to crap.....I made up my mind up my.mind that with my truck having so many miles on it that my best option would be to completely rebuild the transmission in its entirety from scratch.....so that literally everything even things that had nothing wrong with it would also be replaced along with whatever was damaged....I'm embarrassed to say how much the owner charged me but because I thought I was having everything new I agreed.....he charged me a whopping $3,100.00.....imagine my excitement when he called me and told me to go get my truck.....when I was there he told me that I had a 1 year warranty on the tranny....I fekt the need to ask hom if he for sure completely rebuilt my entire tranny new just for my piece of mind and he assured me that he made it completely new for me and tbat i wouldnt have an issue.....well here is y im writing them a bad review.....after driving my truck less than 5K miles guess what.....my tranny is messed up again and since it's been over a year they won't fix it....I have to pay again to have it repaired even though I barely use the truck......the original transmission lasted almost 300K miles before it went out and after the supposed rebuild they did it disnt kast 5k.....f.y.i. I barely ever use that truck thats y I only drove 5k in 2 years.......I dont know what else to say other than..... BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, my car's transmission got stuck in second gear and the check engine light came on. I took my car back to the same shop, not under warranty, so they could tell me what was wrong with it and how much would cost to fix. I was preparing myself to get the bad news. They check my car and found they only had to replace a sensor and a fuse. They quickly fix my car and charged me under $40. Nice to know there is a mechanic's shop that is honest and knows what they are doing. If you have a problem with a transmission, I would highly recommend this shop.
