Hands down the best and easiest experience buying frames. I reached out to Alex at the store about 9 months ago letting him know that I needed a quick lens replacement on my frames since I was living the country for a graduate school research assignment. Not only was the price super competitive I had my new frames in my hands in about a week, I was living in North Carolina at that time. I still have the frames and I can tell the quality is superb. So I knew that when it was time for a pair of new frames I knew that I HAD to buy it from him. So here is where it gets even better I told him that it will be a few weeks before I could be back in his area do to a new job. I sent the him pictures of myself with my old frames and he literally picked a lineup of frames for me to check out so that I had an idea of what I wanted before I stepped in the store!! After exhausting the possibilities in my neck of the woods (NELA), I started venturing out west. Enter, Nancy! Not only was she the only person I encountered who made me feel comfortable enough to actually share my ridiculous crusade with, but I found the pair of frames I ended up buying with her help! From choosing the right frame, to placing the order, fitting you properly and in-between adjustments, this store is as good as it gets. Don't expect your glasses to be inexpensive, they carry only the best, higher-end frames and lenses, but you also get amazing service. I have purchased 2 pairs of glasses here and look forward to my next. Even during our Covid-19 quarantine they are handling business incredibly well. I broke my glasses and called for help. Jessica, the manager, returned the call quickly and told me they actually had the replacement frame in stock. I made an appointment. When I arrived I was the only customer in the store. They are disinfecting every frame & surface in between each one-on-one appointment and Jessica wore a mask as she fitted me. Ten minutes later my lenses were in my new frames and I felt at ease the entire visit. A huge thank you to Jessica for continuing to work during this difficult time. I recently moved to LA and I needed to update my prescription. I wear a specific progressive lens which I like, so I did a google search to find in anywhere local used these lenses. Daas Optique came up, so I called to confirm. I was told they did, in fact, use those lenses. I dropped by the next day and the two people who were working there had no idea what I was talking about and had never heard of the lenses, even though one of the employees said he was the only one working the previous day. They immediately began up-selling me on other lenses. From $450 lenses they started quoting me a $550 set and that still didn't include everything I normally got for $450. I ended up finding something comparable to my original lenses and was told they'd take 7-10 days, although they were usually back in less time. Ten days later I hadn't heard anything about my lenses and and called. I was told my lenses had arrived, but their cutter wasn't in for another two days to fit the lenses into my glasses. Of course I was never told anything about a cutter and that it could be more days depending on their schedule. Over all there's a serious lack of communication on their part and I suspect they told me they did my original lenses just to get me in the door and up-sell me on another set. It's not like it's easy to forget the word "Rodenstock". Definitely won't be taking my back up glasses here. read more

She ordered me new lenses from the manufacturer, had them expedite shipping at no fee, called me when they arrived, and installed them while I waited. Amazing price, amazing job, and unbelievable customer service. Not to mention, an incredible selection of frames you aren't seeing elsewhere. This store is now officially my go-to place for glasses! I was looking a particular pair of frames and I called many places to look for it. Nancy was the only salesperson I talked to who was patient, and willing to help me find exactly what I needed. Other stores in the area seemed to be impatient over the phone, and were not interested in being flexible with the price. When I came inside the store with my mom we were immediately greeted by a wonderful saleswomen named Nancy who offered us cold ice water and immediately got started in helping me look for my pair of glasses. After trying multiple pairs from other brands, I decided on a different pair that another CUSTOMER actually picked out for me. I had a great time trying on different pairs and hearing other people's opinions, but best of all, Nancy was constantly advising me in the right direction and unlike other sales workers, she wasn't trying to scam me with high prices out of my budget. She was able to work with me and try to find a price we both agreed with. I've never had such a positive experience at a store, and let me just say, if you ever need new glasses, come to Daas and look for Nancy! She is the best of the best! Daas Optique is a small but lovely glasses shop. I went to get a new pair of glasses and was greated by Dominik. Because it is a boutique shop, the customer service was personal yet professional, and Dominik was there to assist and offer advice (he has great style and taste btw) or leave me to contemplate or take photos as I pleased. After picking a pair of frames and lenses, he said it would be just a few days to get them done, but they were ready the next day! The glasses are beautiful and of great quality, and given how positive the whole experience was, I highly recommend it if you are in the market for new glasses.
