Have to update this after attending another PT establishment of the same price point. The PTs here…read moreare great and very knowledgeable, but I feel that the amenities/overall experience is not as good. Examples below. - Scheduling/Booking: At other PT establishments, I had no trouble booking online. Here, I'm unable to change my appointments online. I have to call (don't always get an answer) or text a number and coordinate with someone back and forth. Compared to online booking, this takes much longer and is overall less convenient. - Take home exercises: Here, my PT will text/airdrop me videos of my exercises and verbally give me sets and reps. After my sessions, this requires me to take notes of my own sessions and dig through my camera roll to find my exercises. At other PT establishments, my PT would update my routine online after every session. Their online platform let me see videos, and had notes regarding weights/sets/reps. Same concept, but I found that other establishments fostered a better client/patient experience by doing a bit more work in the back end. I'll reiterate that the PTs I've worked with here are excellent, their quality of care and expertise during the sessions is great. However, I do think other establishments with similar price points have shown more care for client/patient experience outside of the sessions, with easier scheduling and more efficient ways to access your care. Ultimately, this place is in a very central location for me, which beats out that of other establishments. I just hope to see some improvement in the areas not related to location and quality of care during sessions.

I took a leap of faith and bought a package of sessions as a last resort after seeing chiropractors and massage therapists. After the assessment, Vince told me that I had been using my neck muscles for all the wrong things and that this had been going on for a long time. He taught me how to strengthen the correct ones, starting with just being able to feel them. I did the exercises daily (with videos he sends me after sessions) and my neck is 95% better after a couple of months and now I'm excited to keep going and see what else in my body could improve. It's amazing how skilled everyone there is. I tell everyone about Dang PT and Vince and I'm so grateful for what they've given me.

I told her that CA legislation specifically denotes that healthcare providers may not charge fees for filling out forms or providing information in regards to applying for public benefit programs, which includes disability. She acted like I was stupid and kept repeating, "We're a private clinic, so we can." I asked her to clarify what the difference was whether they were private or not, because the legislation does not make any differentiation as to whether or not it applies to private clinics. It says healthcare providers, full stop. She literally just repeated the same sentence to everything I asked in a derisive voice, which doesn't answer my question whatsoever. I'm attaching screenshots of the govt. website that denotes the specific article I'm referencing. Without this information, I'd be unable to apply for disability so I was forced into paying for it, but it was really a disgusting interaction with an employee who clearly doesn't know enough to explain why they're charging when the law specifically states they should not. If there is somehow a loophole that allows them to, then the staff should be well informed and willing to explain why this is something they're able to do. If they don't know, they should be asking someone who does. Regardless, the way this looks to me is they don't even know the exact legislature and are just ripping people off for information they're legally entitled to - for free - in order to apply for public services. Had she at least been pleasant, I don't think I'd be as upset. But repeating the same sentence as if I'm an idiot doesn't answer my questions, and I heard you the first time. I'll be looking into legal counsel to verify whether or not they truly are legally allowed to charge people just because they're a "private clinic," since their uneducated and rude employees clearly cannot explain why.

Dr. Rachel Labvre is likely one of the best and the brightest hand surgeons in her field. Before…read moreyou decide on a cuorse of treatment for any hand issues, please consider meeting with Dr. Lafebvre first. She continues to earn the respect, not only of her peers, but of the many people she has successfully treated, across the country. I am one of those people. Don't let her kind demeanor and youthful appearance fool you. Dr. Lafebvre is a titan in her field. I met with Dr. Lafebvre to discuss an ongoing and rapidly escalating pain in my hand. I had been dealing with this issue for at least 4 years. I met with other doctors and none of them were able to diagnose it properly. I was told it was probably a carpal tunnel issue, though i did not test well enough to prove a surgery was necessary. I was then told it might be arthritis. I was later told it was either residual pain from sleeping wrong or I was develooping neuropathy. Basically, all the dctors I'd seen were not listening to me and they all got it wrong. I was going through waves of pain that were excruciating, like my hand was being smashed in a vice. Some periods of time, the pain would disappear and I'd go on with life as if nothing happened. It was a strange phenomenon. Dr. Lafbvre met with me briefly for the first time. She asked me a few questions and immediately ordered an MRI. I had my MRI that day. The next day, she called to tell me the MRI confirmed her suspicions that I had an infection deep in my hand. It could have hung out in my hand for years, and just subsided when I took antibiotics for other issues. Although she is a very popular doctor and overbooked, at that, she scheduled me for surgery that week - three days after my initial visit! The infection turned out to be a bit more complex and detailed than expxected, but Dr. Lafebvre was extremely successful in removing the infection. She made such fine incisions that only 4 weeks out of surgery, my incisions are smooth and rapidly fading! I can bet the incisions will hardly be noticeable in a few more months - and these were pretty long incisions on the top and bottom part of my hand and wrist! Dr. Lafebvre is so invested in my care that she meets with me weekly to check the status of my hand. She is continues to observe and analyze the cultures taken from surgery, far beyond what is considered to be medically necessary. She chooses to err on the side of conservative, continuing to study the cultures, because of the atypical nature of this infection. I can tell her goal is to put my mind at ease, knowing that we've completely eliminated the infection. It is so comforting to have faith and confidence that your doctor is not ony extremely capable but personally invested in doing their absolute best work to make you whole again. I am so grateful to Dr. Lafbvre. After the 4 year nightmare of being handed over from one doctor to another who took very little interest in addressing my issue, Dr. Lafebvre dove into my case within seconds of meeting, and repaired me all within a week. She fully invested herself in my case. I had maybe two days of downtime after surgery, at most. I am looking at close to nothing for a scar. Most importantly, I have my full range of motion back and no pain!!! Don't waste your time with surgeons that make you feel uncomfortable in any way. Trust your gut. Go to see Dr; Lafbrve. She is in a league above the rest and her work is proof of the heart she puts into treating every one of her patients.

It was to the point where I felt like my calves were bursting and couldn't really wear pants. I saw a neurologist, vein, cardiologist, and even went to physical therapist and did every exam under the moon and no one could figure my pain out. I got the point where I threw so much money at doing all sorts of exams, I really had nothing to lose by visiting a chiropractor to help manage my pain. BEST DECISION EVER. After a session with Dr Levy, the pain started to subside. After a few sessions, the pain was subsiding in longer time increments. Now, I have general relief. No more calf pain after long-haul flights, and I don't have the kind of activity restrictions I used to anymore. I can go on long-haul flights knowing my calves won't kill me and can sit for longer periods of time without worrying about my legs swelling up. Dr Levy does more than just back adjustments. She also recommended really high quality supplements and magnesium creams and honestly, they have been helping me maintain my calf inflammation in between sessions. Highly recommend Dr. Levy. I am a knowledgeable medical consumer, and I was impressed by both his long experience and manner. However, my shoulder replacement is one of his failures and I am left with 30% use of my arm. Even Dr. I said "I am sorry you were part of my learning curve." I WENT TO HIM BECAUSE OF HIS EXPERIENCE! It turns out he didn't realize the prosthesis was too large, which he only discovered during surgery number 2 to correct what he thought was a tendon rubbing against the implant. By then it was too late. I recovered from that surgery only to find that I still have poor ROM and constant pain. What still bothers me is how he could not know the implant was too large. Weren't he and his team supposed to plan out the surgery using information from the CAT scan to avoid such an occurrence? It took 11 months of repeated agonizing weeks during which I could not drive, care for myself, or even cut my own food before he decided to operate again. That was 7 months ago and I know now I will forever be in pain and have limited motion as a result of the shoulder replacement. I only discovered this when I finally sought another surgeon's input and upon viewing my x-rays, he was able to explain why I continue to have pain and poor use of my arm. Oh, and I also have tingling in my fingers since surgery #1. I can barely type. And I'm a writer. As horrible as my surgical experience was, getting though to him or to his people and going for appointments was even worse. I'd wait days for a call back, which often was simply ignored. If he hadn't given me his cell phone number I never would have gotten through. I only texted him when I was in agony and he responded "your nerves are on fire." That was November. I had the second surgery in March. So you can see how slowly things progressed. Sure he's affable. And you can't argue with his resume. But I am not one of his wins. For the rest of my life, I will be crippled due to his failure.
