I got quotes which were as high as 30K!! After deciding I did not want to spend the cost of a kitchen remodel on replacing my modest railing, I had given for for almost an year when I decided to give it a try again on Yelp. Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, he was patient in explaining the options available, and sharing different pictures. When I look back on the emails I have exchanged with him, its almost a 100 emails!! Mostly we had no idea what design to choose and he would patiently send pictures of his previous work. Before we even decided to meet, he asked me to send some measurements which was quite easy for me to do and also send a couple of pictures. Within a day or two, he gave me a quote. The quote felt reasonable and we decided to have him come over. When he came over, he brought some samples and we liked what he showed. after a few back and forth on the design, we decided to move forward. He was able to finish the install in a couple of days. He was neat and ensured all the stuff was cleaned up and left the home the way it was before he started work. We are very pleased with his work as the pictures will show. We went with clear glass. The glass was installed by a couple of folks from the glass company. It took 3 weeks for the glass to arrive. The whole project took about 4 weeks. So, plan accordingly. Steve was so nice that he even smoothened some wood around the rails that our puppy had chewed. he cut up long pieces of wood to cover up some slots the flooring guys had improperly finished near the railings. All in all, I would highly recommend Steve and his company.

I knew Alex would be better suited to overcome the inevitable obstacles than the installers from the store. Sure enough, the old microwave was installed oddly and its sides had warped such that it was stuck inside the slot, capable of being held up entirely by the cabinets. Simply removing it was a huge task. My wall then lacked the supporting elements in the right spot for the new one, so Alex had to install some extra wood blocks. It's now installed and works great -- looking at it, you'd never realize the challenges that went into its installation. I'm confident most other installers would have told me I needed to demolish by cabinets in order to get the old one out, and then do further remodeling for the new one. On the other hand, Alex has the rare combination of persistence and skill to solve these problems efficiently and with minimal impacting anything else. I will happily call Alex again.

In particular, we worked with the wonderful Ohad Sherion throughout the process who managed all the subs, city departments involved, neighbors, vendors, etc. Our attention was elsewhere as we were very busy with our work, caring for our elders, so it was invaluable that Ohad kept us up-to-date throughout the process. Ohad was able to make our wishes come true, including bathrooms with custom tiles that were no longer available--so he found us an artisan who recreated them by hand. Just moved into my house and am just floored by the incredible work done by the team at Greenberg!…read moreI was originally skeptical of such a major remodel - every friend had horror stories of contactors doing sub par work, disappearing, completely, etc. I was really glad to work with Ohad, our project manager for the project. He'd worked with one of our friends previously, and so we knew he'd do a great job for our project. We also loved Greenberg's integrated approach. The architect, constructions, design and management was all done by Greenberg. This meant that the project from top to bottom was aligned with the team actually doing the construction work. My top priorities were 1) a modern home design 2) a job done with high quality 3) low stress. Ohad / Greenberg helped deliver on all of these aspects in spades. The last thing I wanted to do was have to coordinate with flaky contractors, have to re-do low quality work after a long day at work. Ohad kept the project on track and handled all the hassle of dealing with subcontractors & inspectors. Greenberg probably won't be the cheapest contractor you'll talk to, but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for. Quality work, up to code, and no drama is well worth the cost. Ohad worked with us throughout the project to consider different budget options, and gave candid advice about where he thought the budget would be best spent. Overall, highly recommend.
