I was originally skeptical of such a major remodel - every friend had horror stories of contactors doing sub par work, disappearing, completely, etc. I was really glad to work with Ohad, our project manager for the project. He'd worked with one of our friends previously, and so we knew he'd do a great job for our project. We also loved Greenberg's integrated approach. The architect, constructions, design and management was all done by Greenberg. This meant that the project from top to bottom was aligned with the team actually doing the construction work. My top priorities were 1) a modern home design 2) a job done with high quality 3) low stress. Ohad / Greenberg helped deliver on all of these aspects in spades. The last thing I wanted to do was have to coordinate with flaky contractors, have to re-do low quality work after a long day at work. Ohad kept the project on track and handled all the hassle of dealing with subcontractors & inspectors. Greenberg probably won't be the cheapest contractor you'll talk to, but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for. Quality work, up to code, and no drama is well worth the cost. Ohad worked with us throughout the project to consider different budget options, and gave candid advice about where he thought the budget would be best spent. Overall, highly recommend. We'd been planning to renovate our 100yo house for 20 years, but with its corner location and tiny size, it was near impossible to get permitted by the City of Palo Alto. We went with Greenberg because they knew how to do modern houses and how to deal with the City. We went from horrible hideous uninsulated shack to a gorgeous gem where we can Age in Place! Every single person who has walked in says, "WOW! It's beautiful! It's incredible what you guys have done!" Spoke to Maor Greenberg about my home in Palo Alto. 2 Red flags that stood out: 1: He started bad mouthing his competition right away. He spoke like he knows all the contractors working in Palo Alto. 2: He repeatedly tried to convince me that a new construction was the best(or only) option. After discussing with multiple companies, I figured out that my existing home had good bones and most of it can be reused. I ended up remodeling my existing home with an addition of around 2000 sqft of space with another company. Mr. Maor's main motive was to steer me towards the high budget option and engage his guys to do the design. His approach would have costed me another 900K or so and raised my property taxes through the roof. Anyone looking to hire should stay clear of these tactics and interview at least 3-4 companies. read more

I've gone back and forth on whether to leave a review or continue to wait and see if the Greenberg team would return to fix the outstanding issues. But here we are 15 months post completion of our build.. There were some things we think were done well, but are far outweighed by things that were sub par and poorly done. Our PM was Ginadi, who spoke such a big game and under delivered every. single. day. But he's a great sale guy. We bought our house in May 2019 and began getting bids from construction companies around the Bay Area -- Greenberg was the most expensive, but we went with them because we were sold on the vision and they looked like they were very experienced in modern home building. We also liked the idea that they did everything in house -- from design, architecture, interior design, and build. We signed the contract in December 2019.. design began.. and then nothing happened until July 2021 when demolition finally began. I understand 2020 was covid and everything shut down for a little while, but work resumed as there was still a ton of construction happening around our neighborhood and frankly, everywhere. Our project completion was March 2024 (after a ton of pressure on our end because I was due in April and needed to be in this house after nearly 4.5 years post signing this contract with them). Here's what we feel were done well: -Framing -Insulation -Tiling in the bathroom showers Everything else: -Piva windows -- which were suggested by Greenberg design. They're from Italy, and they suggested we get them because of the pano doors that are in our living room. Our master bedroom window doesn't fit in the framing, so there are visible gaps and wind comes through! So we put foam to fill the gaps just to keep the cold air from coming through in the winter. The master sliding door was supposed to come with a screen door, but that never arrived. One of the windows in the kitchen has a screen that pulls down from the top, it never properly opened well, and it's because during installation, they broke off a piece of the screen corner and they super glued it rather than replacing it. We've had to contact Piva ourselves because it was missing a bunch of connectors on the pano doors. -We have metal roof siding that wraps around the house. Again, this was part of their design, which looked great in the renderings. However, their actual execution was terrible. It's wavy and looks like cheap metal sheets were just slapped on. We voiced our concern and they said there were other options, so they'd fix it. They never did. -The hardwood floors! They're beautiful white oak flooring. Of course flooring gets installed pretty early on, and there's still a ton of work that happens after. They never covered the floors while the contractors were in and out daily. There are paint stains, scuffs, actual holes in the floor all over because they DIDN'T THINK TO COVER THEM?? We asked the PM to have the floors covered because everytime we went to check progress, the floors looked worse and worse. There are paint stains all over -- we told them this was a major issue and they said they'd come replace the floor boards. That never happened. -Master shower gets cold with every shower. We had them come out to check the plumbing, and they said it was fixed, but the problem persists. -Axent toilets. These were suggested by their design team, probably because they're modern looking, but they're the loudest flushes i've ever encountered. Friends have made comments about them, and we're going to switch out with Toto's. Do yourself a favor and don't just go with their design team suggestions. Everything looks good from far, but it's all far from good. -Plumbing. When plumbing was done, we mentioned there was a strong sewer smell coming from where the kids' bathroom would be. Ginadi said it's just because water wasn't being flushed. Then the bathroom was built and the sewer smell persisted.. It's now July 2025 and the sewer smell is still there. Something pretty comical during the build - they had a mark on the wall for where the thermostat would be mounted. It was four feet from the ground.. I'm 5'4" and my husband is 5'9', so a thermostat at 4ft is a little low. When I asked why the thermostat was so low, he said that was regulation from our town. That couldn't be.. so I called the town hall and asked about this regulation. They were confused and said that's absolutely not true.. I let Ginadi know and now we have a normal height thermostat :) This house was supposed to be our dream house, it was built from the ground up. Our PM was at the site less than we were, he was never there so of course there was no oversight. There were some days that the contractors asked my husband what they should work on that day.. For the amount of time and money that was spent on this project, it's very disappointing. People ask us all the time if we'd build again or recommend our contractor. Zero chance. read more

We interviewed multiple contractors for our renovation project and Ohad stood out to us because of his industry knowledge, honesty, and attention to detail during the initial consultation. He was the only one that helped expand our vision and offered suggestions for improvement and was not pushy about it. That was the selling point for us. We also felt confident based on the glowing positive references from previous clients that spoke highly of their work. Construction: Together with Ohad and Daniel, we were able to design an open layout space with lots of natural light. We are busy working professionals with a young child so did not have time to manage all the details. We appreciated that their team took care of the permits, inspections, and all the construction details in the background and only consulted with us at key points. We basically told them the important things we wanted, put our trust in them, and they made it happen. There were minimal surprises and they delivered quality work. They were always one step ahead and incorporated details that made us think "why didn't we think of that?" Design: Although their portfolio leans towards a predominantly modern style, Michelle and Jennifer of the Greenberg Design Gallery were able to capture our vision and create a space that felt like a relaxing retreat. Our style was more transitional (similar to Studio McGee) so they helped us choose pieces that fit that aesthetic, as well as accommodate any particular products that we wanted. They were not pushy at all. In the final stage of the project, they even surprised us with some details that we didn't think of like creating quartz windowsills in our kitchen using the leftover pieces from our countertops. Beautiful and very creative! There was some miscommunication regarding some of the design details, but they quickly resolved it and we are now very happy in our newly renovated home. Simply put, Greenberg Construction is absolutely amazing! They recently completed our outdoor renovation project, completely remodeling both our front and backyard into a beautiful outdoor living space. This is our second project with Greenberg - the first project was a garage conversion into a recreational room, back in 2020. We had such an amazing experience, that I did not consider any other construction company for our recent project. And we're once again thrilled to have worked with Greenberg. They helped bring our vision to life, meeting and exceeding our every expectation on the design and execution of the project. Both our front and back yard had little in the way of landscaping or hardscaping. Both were mostly covered in grass plots, that dried out in the summer sun, and became a swampy mess in the winter due to poor drainage. Greenberg converted the entire backyard into a beautiful hardscaped living space, with an outdoor kitchen, firepit with seating, and covered patio area. They replaced our retaining wall, built a new fence around the entire property, and installed powerful outdoor heating so that we can enjoy our outdoor space year round. The front yard was also redone to provide an amazing seating area, with the land leveled off with an added retaining wall, surrounded by beautiful drought resistant landscaping, giving us a wonderful area to socialize with our neighbors. They also installed an extremely efficient drainage system throughout the property - it was so efficient that we never experienced a single issue with the extreme rains and flooding this past winter. Every aspect of the project was done with tremendous care and planning, and the highest degree of communication from our project manager, Ohad Sherion. He is the best project manager we have ever worked with on any of our home renovation projects, and is the reason that we will only work with Greenberg Construction on all future home projects. He helped manage all aspects of our project, coordinating with the city on permits and inspections, PG&E on electrical and gas enhancements, and assembled a top notch crew of professionals to execute all aspects of the construction. read more

We used Greenberg construction for full house Design and Remodel and will def use them again. We had planned as partial remodel but we were quickly convinced by Greenberg team and also looking at their previous work, to execute on full house remodel and ensure it does not look like a split personality house. We are glad we took their advice and use of their full design services. They gave us all the works of lot of ideas boards, 3-d design, in office visits, at home visits etc. If you use this service, make sure you work with Jennifer and Marine. They are really on top of their game. There were a lot of unknowns as this remodel started at the begin of COVID lockdowns and our experience was probably atypical in terms of how long it took. However, we were advised early on to purchase as much of appliances, cabinets etc to overcome supply chain issues and inflation, and that was very beneficial advice. For the most part we were able to overcome supply chain issues. During the remodel, we ended up adding major external work but at all stages of adding extra work, we were kept highly informed and shown good reason to make those changes. I am very glad Ohad brought those things to my attention and got them fixed. It may have been easier on him to just ignore and paint over those and move on to other jobs, but they did the hard work. Ohad (our main Greenberg project lead) did a good job of giving us heads up and walked us in detail for every addition and got our sign off. We did not feel pressurized to go with their suggestions and in few instances over ruled cosmetic changes they wanted to make (such as new front door). Ohad and team was very respectful, took our budget into account and constantly tried to find products and sub contractors (we needed one for roof) that fit our budget. We did a full internal and external remodel and removed several walls. It was down to studs and then they did super work of reinforcing with beams to give our house a modern open feel. Finally, the most important take away : Their work is of high quality. The Design and overall finish of their work is very high. No creaky floorboards or imperfect tiles. Everyone who has seen the finished product immediately comments on the high quality of workmanship and I think this is the most important aspect. It might take them just a bit longer than regular contractors, but the end product is worth the wait. These are skilled professionals who can build you your dream house and not just contractors executing from old designs and moving on to next job. They are not your typical cheapest or the fastest, but they are high quality firm I would use them again for my next project. read more

This is a 2nd review for Greenberg Construction, for additional work they did in our garage and on a backyard home studio office. Ohad was our project manager for these projects as well. Due to the limitations of space in our kitchen remodel, Ohad had an insightful recommendation to create more storage space in our garage, which is adjacent to our kitchen. This involved replacing our water heater with a tankless water heater to free up space, moving our washer and dryer to the other side of the garage, and adding a laundry sink and cabinets. At the time he brought up the idea, we were unsure if it would be worth the extra expense; but after taking his suggestion and utilizing the space, we now see this was an excellent idea that was truly necessary. We now have a nicer garage, a laundry area and much needed storage space. Ohad and Greenberg Construction also helped with our backyard studio office. This project originally started out with a different construction company but plans changed mid-way through the project as the other company was unable to fulfill delivery of their services. Fortunately, this occurred when we were already working with Ohad and team on our kitchen remodel, so Ohad graciously agreed to step in and have Greenberg Construction take over the remainder of the project. This included basically all construction aspects except for the actual framing and roofing, which were done by the original company. We especially appreciate his willingness to help us out since this extended the construction timeline and they are very busy with other projects. Having Greenberg construction take over the project was the best decision, as the studio turned out much nicer than we originally planned for (with high quality finishes recommended by Ohad and team). Overall, we had a great experience with Ohad and Greenberg Construction. All of the crew were hard working, knowledgeable in their trades, trustworthy and friendly. We cannot imagine a better project manager than Ohad and were so thankful he was along our sides for the duration of the construction. Greenberg should be renamed "Great-berg". I started working with Maor and his team six years ago, on a four bedroom / three bath remodel of an historic house in west San Jose. Maor immediately impressed me with his no-nonsense approach, organized project plan and detailed materials budget. He finished then project on time, and with expert craftsmanship. Two years later, during the COVID pandemic, I had the good fortune to work with Maor again to convert my carriage house into a usable gym space. Again, the work was done in a matter of weeks and on budget. I have recently hired Maor once again, to work on another full property remodel of another historic home in the East Bay. This time, we are using his design services, in addition to construction crew. We awarded the renovation of 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms to Greenberg Construction. I found Ginadi Feldman, our project manager to be very responsive and very easy to work with. He is creative in his design recommendations and did his best to accommodate the changes we made during construction. Overall, the project took a bit longer than anticipated due to delays with the planning department and an unexpected issue once the project got started. Plastic dividers minimized the dust in the rest of our house and we were able to living in our house during the entire renovation period. Now that the work is done, I can happily write this review for Ginadi and the great team lead by Juan. We had met with Ginadi a few years ago and decided to put off remodeling altogether because we weren't ready for the amount of work with a little one on the way. Well, with two more on the way this year, we decided it was now or never. We met with a few contractors and decided Greenberg was still the best fit for us. We appreciated his thoroughness with the scope of work and that he was quick to respond knowing we were crunched for time. The job was completed on time even though there were hiccups along the way. The week before work was supposed to start, we noticed that our water heater had been leaking and caused damage to our half bathroom. Ginadi was quick to come by to take a look and present a quote for the work that needed to be done. This project was not part of the original scope of work so it was such a relief that they were able to fix it for us and still complete the other two bathrooms on time. Whenever there was an issue (due to the laziness of the original builders of his home), Ginadi was on top of it to present us with solutions to make it as stress-free as possible. Juan and his team worked long hours to get the job done on time and we are forever grateful for that. Any time we had questions or a request to fix something he had a great attitude and would do it without hesitation. He also helped us figure out what the best layout was for our tiles and placement of other fixtures. If you need recommendations on where to get materials, don't hesitate to ask! This review is for Ginadi. Though we didn't ultimately move forward with the job due to personal reasons, had we decided to, we would certainly have hired Greenberg and Ginadi. Ginadi is professional, trustworthy, punctual, experienced, knowledgeable, has a good eye for design, and most of all, is friendly. He feels like a family friend: one that you know you can trust decisions and money with, and one with your best interests at heart. We wanted to do a 500 sqft addition to our singe family home in Mountain View. We explored all the options with Ginadi, including adding a master suite, renovating the family room, adding a powder room, adding a mud room, moving the kitchen, etc. He spent several hours over 4-5 meetings at our home going through ideas with us. We didn't ultimately move forward due to some changes on our end, and I want to be clear, this had nothing to do with Greenberg or Ginadi. If/when the timing is right in the future, we'll definitely go straight to Ginadi. read more

We did a whole house renovation including structural changes, bathroom and kitchen renovations with Greenberg. Their price might not be the best; however, their service makes it up. For example, we had a hard time to work with structure engineers and the fire sprinkler contractor who are not hired by Greenberg; our project manager, Ginadi contacted them directly and solved the problems to make sure everything keeps up with the schedule. Ginadi is a hard worker, we usually would receive his messages early in the morning or late in the evening in regards with our project, and he is very fast in terms of responding our questions. What impress us the most was we asked them to fix some problems after the project was finished, they were still able to get it done within a day or 2. Most of Greenberg's crew is professional and polite, we felt safe to give them our keys while we are away. It was pleasant to work with Greenberg. read more

After severe water damage occurred in my condo unit due to flooding from the unit above, I had to find a company that could quickly remediate and repair the damage.  Greenberg Construction came at the recommendation of friends who were extremely satisfied with their home improvement project that was completed by Greenberg Construction.  I was fortunate that my project manager, Ohad, was available and willing to do a site visit on the very same day that I called him.  Throughout the construction process, I appreciate that Ohad was honest and communicative.  He called or texted with updates at each step of the project and promptly informed me when any issues surfaced.  For instance, there were a few tasks (tile work, painting) that ended up taking more time than originally projected, and each time Ohad notified me of the delay.  While this was such a stressful event, I feel that with Ohad's honesty, upfront explanations, and good communication, I could rest assured that everything would be taken care of properly. read more

After a nightmare inside remodel with another company, working with Greeberg Construction for our outdoor remodel was a total 180. They were professional, honest, organized, stuck to the schedule, and great problem-solvers. Whenever unforeseen issues came up (which several did), Maor and his entire team handled them efficiently and creatively. All of the subs (electrician, carpenters, painters, plumbers) were trustworthy, reliable, and talented. Maor has great relationships with the folks at Belmont City Hall and also with some plumbers in the area. He was able to obtain all of our permits and inspections quickly. We are incredibly happy with how everything turned out and grateful we found Greenberg Construction. I would not hesitate to use them for anything again or recommend them to others. They can handle any size project from tear-down and rebuild, total remodel, additions, outdoor landscaping, indoors...anything. Even though Maor is extremely busy, we felt as though our project was a priority for him and he was always available via phone or text with any issues we had. He is quick to respond via email and/or phone and he is extremely detail-oriented. We even had an emergency one night when our old water heater wouldn't light and he came to our house at 7:30pm on a weekend to fix it for us (we later upgraded to tankless, per his suggestion). During the entire process of our remodel, we felt like we could really trust not only Maor, but also everyone he sent to our home. They may not be the cheapest around, but we have learned the incredibly hard way that you get what you pay for. They treat their employees and their customers well. I sought Greenberg specifically because they listed home exterior work as one of their specialties. So many construction companies are only focusing on kitchens and baths, and are unwilling to provide "full service", or in my case, a very specific service. I've been working with Ohad on a project to improve our home's curb appeal, which includes stucco revision, stone work, new exterior doors, adding trim to the garage doors, front door, and windows, and a complete exterior paint job. He has thus far been flexible and reasonable. I appreciate that, if I have a question or problem, I can send Ohad a text and he responds in a decent time frame. It's frankly also nice to be able to communicate via SMS because I'm on video calls all day thanks to the pandemic. Speaking of the pandemic, Ohad and his crew are very respectful and always wear a mask when they need to talk to us in person about any of the work. Another thing that stands out are the details. We recently had a problem with carpenter ants finding their way into our walls via several gaps where stucco meets wood, or wood meets wood, which made for a unique circumstance. We asked them to calk all those gaps before painting - no problem. We wanted a new mailbox, which meant patching screw holes left behind from the old mailbox and - no problem, and they installed the new one. I ordered a new house number and asked if they would install that - no problem. Could they paint our built-in dog door the same color as the house? No problem. We had a great experience remodeling our bathroom with Greenberg Construction. They provided us with a reasonable estimate, and explained what would happen in case of contingencies - which we fully expected - given a 70 year old home. Sure enough, after they did the demolition, it became clear we had some dry rot. They came up with a plan to deal with it. Later, not unexpectedly but on a Sunday, the water heater died. They arranged to have it replaced the next day. There were a number of other unexpected issues, so the project took longer than originally planned and was considerably more expensive - but all of these changes led to much needed improvements to our home. There were a few cases where placement of (for instance) light fixtures and shower niches were difficult to do given the placement of supporting beams in the wall. In these cases our project leader worked closely with us to explain options. In the end we were able to get the bathroom arranged to our wishes. We really enjoy our beautiful new bathroom! read more

We selected Greenberg Construction to rebuild our home last year and it has been an amazing journey with Maor and his team. From the very first meeting, I could tell that Maor was the right fit for us. He took the time to understand our needs, walk us through the potential issues, and came back with the most detailed and transparent quote of all of the bids that we received. In fact, his bid was what we used to compare all of the other bids against in terms of the breakdowns and level of detail. Maor estimated the project (which was to level a single story house and then to expand and build a 2 story house) to take 8-10 months and they finished construction in under 10 months even with the challenging weather of 2016/2017. Maor and his team have been a pleasure to work with -- they helped us move appliances to our rental house, they've kept us up to date on project progress & schedule changes, helped source and negotiate many of the finished products in the house and also taken care of any issues or questions that we needed. My wife an I just bought a house in Danville which needed lots of TLC. After contacting several contractors for quotes we decided to go with Greenberg constructions for two reasons - reasonable price and Maor, the owner who showed up for the quote had some great ideas and was very friendly and professional. Like any large construction project, there were some surprises along the way, but to our surprise (after a terrible experience in the past with a different contractor) they were all taken care of immediately by Maor and his team. We loved working with Maor as well as Alex, the project manager who did a fantastic job and has amazing communication skills as well as lots of patience for all of our last-minute changes and stupid questions =P To list the things we had Greenberg Construction do for us: Complete bathroom remodel for three bathrooms. Complete kitchen remodel. Replace three fireplace from wood burning to gas burning and add beautiful brick veneer. Replace hardwood floors and carpets throughout the house. Add recessed lighting and ceiling fans throughout the house. Other odds and ends. All and all, we could not be happier with the entire team and would not hesitate calling them again for our next project! We are now more than 18 months out from our master bedroom and bathroom remodel. We hired Greenberg for this project and had Ginadi and Ohad as our team. We have worked with many contractors before and after. I have to say our experience with Greenberg was the best of all of them! Every day when I look at our remodeled master suite, I am so grateful. They did an amazing job. We are so glad we got the work done with them. But the real reason we loved them is that they were so honest, hard working and caring. There was no vibe of being underhanded or dishonesty, as is found in the contractor world. Disclaimer: I am a busy professional myself and if I had more time I would write a long extensive review of Greenberg Design / Construction. Long story short: my house was destroyed in a fire a few years ago. I hired Maor & team @ Greenberg Construction to partner with me during what I knew would be a long and arduous process of battling insurance company and rebuild logistics etc. Because of this situation, I've been working with Maor for a longer than normal time-frame - past few years - on my house project, so I think I have an excellent judgment on this company's skills and capabilities as well as culture / style of dealing with clients. In other words, you should weigh my review more heavily than others. Maor has been a true partner to me during what has sometimes been a very difficult process - he and team have put in extra time to brainstorm with me how I can most cost effectively with an eye on quality and unique aesthetics and design re-build my house within the constraints of my insurance settlement funds. Also, Maor is not just a "build logistics" guy. He actually is a really outstanding designer himself - one example I was super impressed with was that when we re-designed my house floor-plan and exterior design, I didn't even have to pay for or work with an extra designer or architect. Maor came up with a design that I liked (note: I do not like run of the mill cookie cutter styles - I'm a successful, young, stylish lady that wanted a custom, eclectic design) so not the easiest client for him I would say) and he totally nailed it! I continue to be very impressed! Additionally, in the past 3 years I've been with Greenberg, they've grown tremendously! Because of this, as a Greenberg client I (and you will, should you hire them), got the benefit of pricing with all of his partner suppliers - which includes Lincoln Windows which are SUPERIOR quality and aesthetics. I got amazing windows on par with Marvin windows' highest end line for literally a fraction of the price. I am extremely pleased with this outcome. Please ask him more about the alternative materials he can use for you project which will make your house last forever in amazing condition. He does all of this for totally on market pricing. Of course, pricing is not the lower end of market - but we all know we pay for what we get in construction. Greenberg could likely charge way more for their quality of work, but they do not. Last but not least, Greenberg has everything in house - all (or nearly all) of the subcontractors Maor & Jenn & team supervise and have on staff internally. Why is this a big deal? It means that 1) project will stay on time 2) stay on budget 3) you will never have to speak with / manager another vendor / service provider than your main contact at Greenberg (likely Maor and/or Jenn). Maor has many many projects but is never too busy to answer my calls or call me back promptly. As a business owner myself, I'm not sure how he does it, but he does. I am confident you will be pleased with your project - not only at completion but during the process - if you hire Greenberg. Feel free to contact me for a reference. What can I say, these guys were awesome again! I hired them to completely remodel my dad's bathroom a few months ago. They did such a fantastic job, I hired them to remodel my kitchen. I had never done a large remodel before, so I was a bit nervous. But having Ohad available as our contact person made it so much better. Any questions or concerns I had I was able to either call or text him and he would return my call/text within a few mins or at least within a 12 hour period and answer any questions. Working with these guys is just amazing. I can't stress enough how important it is to work with a contractor you can trust and these guys are definitely one of them. They measure and do all the leg work. You go out and purchase the items based on what you like and then they install everything. Our kitchen remodel took about 6 weeks to complete from demo to finish. (We didn't move any walls or change the floor plan) Another item to mention is that all the workers were very kind and personable to me and my family including our dog. We were blessed to find Greenberg Construction through BuildZoom. Out of 6 different companies that gave us bids we went with Greenberg because of their professionalism, communication, and honesty. They truly listened to our needs and have exceeded our expectations. Communication is key to any relationship and they over communicate. We go over plans and walk through several times before we move forward to ensure we are on the same page. What started as a Master bathroom remodel turned into so much more. Our home is our investment and we chose correctly when we went with Greenberg. Their showroom is wonderful to assist you in making key decisions such has lighting, painting, doors, hardware, etc. etc. Our GC Ohad Sherion has an excellent eye for detail and leaves no stone unturned to get the job done right. During these trying times of COVID-19 they have been mindful to obey the law keeping us safe as well as their employees. I hired Greenberg Construction in 2014 to do a home remodel for us and everything was so spot on we decided to hire them again for our second and newest project home in Blackhawk. Mr. Greenberg designed a lighting layout throughout this large home of ours that is stunning. It even directly focuses on our Granite kitchen tops that are so exotic that we forgot its name! Please remind us again Maor! Cabinets were all handmade and the hardware and pulls were made locally by an old world blacksmith craftsman. Our long plank 200 year old oak floors are a one of a kind masterpiece as well with the old world handmade nails. It's our first time dealing with a contractor as this is our first home. I have to say, Ohad and his team has met all the expectation I had. We hired Greenberg for a general contracting job that involves popcorn ceiling removal, hardwood floor installation, complete lighting overhaul, attic insulation reinforcement and conversion of gas fireplace to electric. Ohad has been very responsive to my questions and concerns and would always keep me in the loop via texts and calls, even in evenings and weekends. We met in the house for progress inspection and partial payment for completed jobs every few days and Ohad was punctual every time. The communication has been great and Ohad ensured we always knew what was going on and what was going to happen next. Considering that we were busy with work when the renovation was ongoing, Ohad bought us components and rough materials he recommended (and we approved) several times, which we later reimbursed him for with clear records. He even managed to find moldings and trims for our hardwood floor through his own sources when the store we purchased the floor from didn't have any in stock (and would not in the future because the specific kind of wood was no longer exported). Needless to say, this saved us a lot of time and trouble and the result looks fantastic. Overall, Ohad and his team has done a great job completing the work to my satisfaction. I have high standards and they had to revisit several times to take care of the details. But they did, without any complaints or additional charges.
