When I dared object and say that I did not appreciate my time being wasted, they then proceed to tell me to go see another dentist. Two weeks ago I was coming all the way across town and stuck in traffic so I called them to tell them and ask if I should keep coming or turn around, that I was going to be 5-10 minutes late. They say to keep coming its fine. I show up 11 minutes late and they turn me away saying that since I was more than 10 minutes late, I had to reschedule. Wasted half my day because of this. That very appointment that I rescheduled right there in the office was rescheduled by THEM an hour later because they made a mistake. It was rescheduled to this morning. This morning I get a text message saying they are going to have to reschedule again. So this same appointment was rescheduled three times, all because of their office. I told them I did not appreciate my time being wasted and their response "we encourage you to seek the care of another dentist as soon as possible" What. A. Joke.

Don't waste your time. I was able to get an appointment this last Monday for a cleaning. I was a…read morenew patient so I expected the appointment would take some time, but I wasn't expecting not to have my teeth cleaned. I was taken back to the chair where I received X-rays and they were discussed with me. The Dentist was very nice. Then I was transferred to the 20- something year old hygienist. I was taught how to brush my teeth, what gum to chew, why I should use a Water Pic, what electronic toothbrush I should use, what floss to use and how proper oral hygiene would help my blood pressure. I felt like I was at a presentation for a timeshare. But still no teeth cleaning. Odd for the fact I was there for over an hour and a half. Things started to get real when the hygienist informed me "when I come back for a deep cleaning", I will feel much better about my teeth. I clarified that no cleaning would occur during my visit and I was a bit shocked. I ended up leaving after an hour and fifty minutes with nothing being done. No cleaning. That was the entire reason for the appointment. This was unbelievable. I called the dentist on my way home to clarify what had occurred. The dentist essentially said it's better to not have my teeth cleaned until it's a deep cleaning. This is the exact opposite of what has occurred my entire life. Normally it's a cleaning then you're told to get a deep cleaning. At least it a start. My frustration is the Dentist/hygienist assumed that I have all the time in my life to come back at their will. I work 60 to 80 hours a week and I'm not off during their business hours. I was able to squeeze in on a Monday that was a day off for me. I made this known at the time of my appointment and during the visit itself. Apparently they don't listen. They just figure that everyone will just sit happily in the chair and go with whatever they say. They wasted my entire afternoon and nothing was accomplished.

Over a year ago, our family dentist (Eagle Smiles) recommended we seek an ortho consult for our son (9 at the time). Dr Fowler practices within their office, however he also has his own private practice. We did have our initial consult at Eagle Smiles, but when Dr Fowler said we should schedule a follow up I had already determined I would like to do so at their private practice. Primarily because I felt it would allow us a more personal experience with him and his staff, but also because I assumed it would be much easier to schedule appointments in the future. I have to say both assumptions were spot on! Scheduling an appointment was far easier and quicker to get in. And Dr Fowler and all of his staff are just fabulous to work with. Getting braces when you are 10 can be kind of scary and overwhelming. They do such a great job of explaining everything and allowing my son to be involved. Everyone is very friendly and personable. It's very obvious Dr Fowler and his team care about their patients. My husband also commented that he felt really comfortable with how things were explained at our initial meeting. For him it's not about how much something costs it is about explaining why it is a good investment and how you plan to accomplish the goal. We are just about 1 month in in our estimated 2 year journey, so we've still got a ways to go. But I think we are feeling really good about where we are going!

I wore the braces for almost two years and now my teeth are perfect. I had a little bit of hesitancy about the whole thing because of my age, (I was 65 when I got the braces. Also everytime I came in they tried to get me to buy a electric toothbrush, (they sell them) they did this to my wife also. They canceled appointments twice the day before my appointment, so that's when I figured I'd find someone else. Update; I have a found new dentist and I'm very happy...
