I never once felt talked down to or rushed, which can honestly be rare in automotive situations. What impressed me most was how clearly they explained everything. They took the time to walk me through what was going on, what my options were, and what actually needed to be done (without trying to upsell anything unnecessary). That level of transparency builds immediate trust. They got me in and out exactly when they said they would, and the pricing was more than fair for the quality of service. My 1999 5.4L Expedition would not idle at startup. I Googled the top 10 auto mechanic shops in my area and picked Alexander Automotive based on the the reviews and their reputation as an honest and affordable shop. I took my Expedition to their shop, and thankful I did. They diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me a quote that was reasonable. I asked Al at the front desk if they could check a few things for me that one of the items would be little labor intensive. They did, fixed the problem at no charge. I went in for an oil change. Ryan was awesome. I was given quotes which are very reasonable. Everyone was friendly and personable.

I had a trouble light come on the dash of my car, so I took it back to the dealer where I bought it. The dealer diagnosed the problem and said a major part needed to be replaced at $4900. Extended warranty said not covered. I went to Alexander's for a second opinion. Al diagnosed the problem as a bad sensor and did testing to prove it wasn't the major part. Got the warranty to cover most of the actual much lower cost. Bottom line my car is fixed for my cost of $242. Guess who I'll take my next car problem too! P.S. Kinda hard to find. Had issues after a Costco tire job and these guys fixed the damaged stud and also went above and beyond to diagnose pulling after an alignment that they found was another Costco tire issue. They spent a lot of time trying to figure this out and fixed it and didn't even charge me. They have done other work for us and they always do a great job. They're always friendly and willing to help. I highly recommend them. read more

I recently brought my 2015 dodge ram in for transmission filters and fluid change and a check engine light. When I picked up my truck the bill was $1293.13 I drove out and not more then 100 yards down the road my check engine light came back on. I will not go back. I cannot afford anymore of Alexanders expensive and bad work. I think autozone would be a cheaper way to diagnose a purge solenoid. read more

These folks are consummate professionals all around. As I waited for my truck to be inspected for a second opinion for pulling to the right, I overheard one employee dealing with a rude, falsely accusing customer over the phone. He expertly maintained a calm and respectful manner, despite the false accusations being thrown at him from the customer on the phone. They also kept everyone in the waiting area apprised of their respective vehicle's status. The first appraisal I received from another auto shop was based on the technicians going overboard on the necessity of changing out an expensive part but the technician at Alexander's Automotive showed me the situation was not nearly as serious as it was initially described to me at a previous auto shop. They realigned my steering and inflated a slightly flat tire in record time, getting me back on the road with a much cheaper bill than I had originally been quoted elsewhere. We are from out of town, visiting, and we noticed we were having troubles with our car, and we heard good things about Alexander's Automotive. Took in our vehicle, found out we needed new fuel pump and there was a leak in our gas tank. The customer service was refreshing, like something you used to get versus what you get these days. They were helpful, kind, courteous. The mechanic was very knowledgeable, fair and honest for the work we needed done and what we could wait on. This shop reminded me of the shop I grew up going to with my parents. All he needed was a freezer full of ice cream, and it would have felt like the same shop I would have gone to as a kid. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. I have never had a better experience with a shop. The new owner, Jarrod, took such great care of everything, and he did it so fast! I am active duty and was in the middle of a move from the east coast to the west coast, with car problems from Kentucky. Four shops couldn't figure out what was wrong. Jarrod had it diagnosed and repaired within an hour. Not only that, he came to me when my car hit CO and I couldn't make it any farther. He talked me through everything, told me what was needed, and then told me what I should consider for the future. I have never felt so taken care of. Thank you so much for everything. Go in for a 129.000 alinement and out the door $1000. Starter worked perfect until they got it and said it went up in smoke Could not get it out of there until a 249.99 start install at a insane 155.00 a hour charger went on e bay the same starter was $49.00 with free shipping GOOD LUCK read more

I was impressed when I went to Jackson automotive on 9/30/22. I was quoted $108 to tighten up my parking brake. Jackson automotive informed me that the parking brake was still OK and functional, and I didn't have to have it tightened, but he could improve it some if I still wanted it done. I went ahead and had him do it, and the parking brake is working so much better now, plus he only charged me $66 to have it done. He did not overbook himself, and was able to complete the job in an hour or less. He gave me individual attention and educated me on the parking brake as well. For car maintenance and repair in the future, I will definitely go to Jackson's Automotive, and recommend them to my friends. My lift gate on my Ford Edge would not open so I scheduled an appointment with Ford but they were unable to get it in to the shop for around 2 months so I took it to Jackson's the same day as I called. He was able to get the parts the same day and I picked my car up that afternoon. Great service and fair pricing. I'm sure I would have paid more at the dealership. Highly recommend!!! read more

I recommend Jackson's Auto. Seemed like ole fashion service that auto shops use to give. My car stalled on me and I had it towed into them. They were able to look at it that day and give a diagnosis. They had it repaired the next day and it did not cost me an arm and a leg like most repairs are any more. They were honest, quick and did not try to sell me up on unneeded repairs.
