I absolutely love Patterson Public House, I frequently come here and I'm shocked I've never left a review! The Public House vibes are very lowkey, easygoing, and fun. The employees are all super friendly and laidback, I have never had bad service here, even when it's packed. If you're lucky enough to snag a table outside, you can enjoy the weather underneath the cherry blossoms surrounded by the colorful rainbow paint of the sidewalk and corner. If you're inside, the bar is cozy, the lighting is warm, and there's lot of table seating in the back. The fun thing about this place - besides the great happy hour deals - is the ever changing menu. Depending on what day you go, or what season it is, you may get an entirely different menu! The specials are always fantastic and over the years, they've expanded and offered more varied options. Because I come here often, I'm armed with recommendations. For appetizers, you can't go wrong with fried Brussels, wings, truffle fries, or the cheese and bread charcuterie. My go-to entrees are: spaghetti and meatballs, Spicy AF burger, ramen, and the fried chicken sandwich.

This is a great local spot! My partner, and I live on the other side of Patterson Park, and we have walked over here few times to grab food. our current favorite food item is definitely the wings; it's a really great deal especially on Wednesdays because wings are 50% off! So we were able to eat two small wing platters and share fries for about $20. A steal, especially when they have so many different flavors on the menu! Outside of their wings , everything I have tried here has been really good! The Caesar salad is good and great with the fried chicken tenders, and the Mac and cheese is gooey and creamy! It's a really solid American spot, family friendly and the staff are welcoming. I have yet to try their Ramen night or their world renowned balls, but I am definitely interested!! It's a nice casual spot and is pretty laid back and cozy on weeknights. I would definitely would recommend a visit :)

We came here for food and drinks on Friday night, and from the start the service was warm and welcoming. Our server, Jordan, came over and let me tell you she knew her way around the menu. The food did not disappoint at all. Everything was superb. We ordered the spring rolls that were on special and oh my goodness... they were absolutely delightful. The fried chicken sandwich was incredible as well. This is officially my new favorite spot.

Super chill spot for food and drinks in the area. Came here for after work food and drinks with some friends and was not disappointed. The restaurant has amazing views of the park and the service was friendly and fast. The food itself was solid as well- got the wings and they were delicious and a great deal during the happy hour special.

Came here for brunch with a large group on a weekend! The place is cute on the outside, just on the corner of the park which is a great location. There are a some small tables outside. Inside, there's a cute bar area and tables inside. They seated us quickly even though we were a large group! Once we sat down, we got our drinks quickly. They have bottomless mimosas on the weekends! We didn't end up getting them, but got some bottomless coffee instead. However, we waited a long time for our food. I know they make their food to order, but we had a longgg wait. Once the food got their, it was really good! I liked the burrito and the potatoes were crisped to perfection! A solid brunch place, but be prepared to wait!

Hand cut fries, old bay hot sauce wings, brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese

Patterson Public House is a cozy, lowkey spot. The service was wonderful; we were seated immediately, our drinks came fast, and our waitress checked in on our party several times. The food, however, missed the mark. The brussel sprouts lacked flavor and were slightly undercooked, the fries were small (and it seemed like we were given scraps), and the Mac n cheese was tasted strange (spicy, yet unflavored). The saving grace were the wings--which were good, but didn't taste like "old bay hot sauce."

We are regulars here & never leave disappointed. The menu offers a variety of American style & comfort food options. They mix it up often & also have an amazing brunch. Definitely stop in if you're in the area.

Long ass wait for some food. Friends and I sat and had 2 cups of tea and about an hour later the food came out! And it was just OK. Our server was GREAT! Very patient and accommodating. However my girlfriend ordered not one but 2 glasses of Prosecco and forgot to mention to us that there was a bottomless brunch offered for $12 when each glass cost her $11 ‍. When we mentioned it to her she just apologized. Instead of fixing the bill to make it better. Anyways.. food was just mediocre and the wait was too long for my taste. Will try another place before I come back here

My friend said I had to come here. We did. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber the adventure began. The building is so out dated but the entrance door held its charm. Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. Never had that and it didn't sound like something I could get into. I was wrong. This is Baltimore. The seafood here is astounding. It was delicious and had to take a couple spoon fulls. My friend ordered the double beef patty burger. I was jealous until he offered me a bite. That was really good too, and juicy. If you're looking for an experience and are not too afraid you may want to visit Annabel's. I do recommend it and do insist coming after the sun has been well down.

A few of us came early and got drinks at the speakeasy upstairs which I definitely recommend! It had a great drink menu and cool vibe. For actual dinner, the restaurant itself had an eclectic menu and swanky decor. The service was spotty. I had to ask for water refills 2x. Also for a group of 12, it took about 7 mins for everyone to be served food. Yes, this is a large party, so you must have several servers come bring the food when you're charging these prices. It should've been a seamless experience but we had several friends waiting on their food while others were halfway through. The food quality itself was hit or miss. The pork belly app was delicious! Crispy and tender. But the octopus was overly chewy and weird. We had 2 dishes with it and both were cooked like that, it wasn't good. The lobster poutine was delicious and went quick. Paella was okay - the shellfish was overcooked and seemingly dried up. Drinks were good and staff was friendly. Overall, there are a lot of kinks to work out. I'd like to come back but at the price point, I wish our experience was better and wish the food was more consistently good.
