    Brunch crunchwrap with home fries

Great food, great service, and great vibes all around. I got the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the breakfast crunch wrap - 10/10 for both dishes. The patrons are friendly and the bartenders make sure you stay hydrated (iykyk lol). I recommend getting bottomless instead of a pitcher if you're trying to drink. Will definitely be coming back.

Popped in here for the Very Millenial Christmas pop up bar and was not disappointed. They have decorated their 2nd floor bar with nostalgic Christmas decorations and chachkis and it's all very silly and wonderful (as all christmas pop ups should be). It is first come first serve to be sure. I got Buddys candy cane Cocoa ( a nod to Buddy the Elf) which just hit the spot on a cold winter night. I also sprang the extra five bucks for it to be served in the commemorative mug you get to take home. Also ordered some nachos and my bf got some grilled cheese and tomato soup. All in all a nice experience at AJ's. Oh they also take a polaroid of you if you're seated at the bar for their Polaroid wall for the pop up.

Wow, I was very impressed with the food here! And we got an orange crush tower also! We were able to snag the only table outside because it was a beautiful day! We ordered the pierogis, truffle fries, crab rangoons and the cheesesteak egg rolls. Will definitely be going back again soon!

Surprised that I have never done a review for this place especially because I go so often so I figured I'd do something now lol. Since I have moved to Federal Hill in Baltimore, this has become one of my go to spots for brunch and for a good burger and beer during the week From the awesome bartenders to different kinds of drinks that match the season two new dishes on the menu they always have something new for me to try there. Prices are extremely reasonable and I'm certain days they have happy hour all day. They are also one of the few places in federal Hill that has happy hour on the weekends after brunch. If you're in the area and are looking to just grab a beer or a cocktail by yourself or with a group, this is definitely a good spot.

Restaurant Week, we Love You !! I chose this establishment for RW week for a group of 8. Well, 4 made it. Parking was daggone near impossible but worth the fight. Upon walking in the establishment, great views and very welcoming. Great service by several staff members. Our most helpful staff member was Lincoln. He was very kind and humble. Soft spoken and helpful. Collectively, we ordered the following. Prixe Fix $40pp Crab Ragoon : Delish!! Great size, perfectly stuffed. Shrimp Carbonara : Great dish !! Greatly portioned, well plated, and great flavor. Chocolate Molten Lava Cake : Great size, warm and yummy rich. Prixe Fix $40pp Buffalo Brussels : Very good, great flavor, a little too Buffalo saucy. Peruvian Salmon : Well plated, a little overcooked, and could have used more flavor. Broccoli was a little overcooked. Rice... DELISH !! Soooo tasty. Chocolate Molten Lava Cake : Great size, warm and yummy rich. Smash Burger : Delicious, fulfilling, Long Island : Strong!! A great concoction. Buffalo Chicken Mac : So so. Dry. Blueberry Mojito Mocktail : Refreshingly perfect. Perfect amount of all ingredients. We really enjoyed our time spent at AJ's on Hanover and are already making plans to return.

$7 happy hour????? Sign me up. There's no thrills with the espresso martini so don't expect It to be the best in Baltimore however you will taste the coffee and the reminder that it's alcoholic The snack wrap is delicious and very filling and their dipping sauces have great flavor to accompany It as well Overall this is a great happy hour deal in the local federal hill area

Great service and food. There is a lot of space which makes it the perfect place to watch a game or have a good bite to eat. Shared the Tuna nachos with two of my friends and it was the perfect amount for the three of us. Great tuna portions and not too spicy. I also had the steak street tacos, which were filling after two, however, a little too spicy for my taste. This place is a lot of fun and worth checking out. They do fun events like candle making as well.

Came for happy hour to enjoy the warm weather. I will say that out of all the spots in fed hill, AJs has the most outdoor seating which is awesome. I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Crunchwrap which was so delicious. This is one of their specialities and it hits. I will say it's quite large and good item to split with someone. The jalapeño margarita was the right amount of spice and tasty to sip on. Plus it comes with a fun ice cube! Overall a good time, vibes are great and so is the service. Definitely a good choice for happy hour and catching up with friends.

We went to AJs on a football Saturday night. It wasn't too busy downstairs compared to other places. We sat in the back, downstairs. The TV was definitely too small to really enjoy watching the game from the back of the room. The food was great and our server was attentive. Although I wouldn't recommend the French soup. The bread that came with it was really good and buttery but the onions weren't cooked and caramelized enough and we thought it needed more cheese. The crunch wrap was good. It was nice and refreshing, not too heavy. It definitely was not overflowing with chicken. Pulled steak grilled cheese was also good. Maybe a little dry with certain bites of meat but otherwise it has juices and sauce. Overall, chill vibes, attentive server, and pretty good food. I'll certainly return to try some other menu items and check out happy hour deals.

Stopped in AJs on Hanover for lunch. They have a solid weekend Happy Hour from 2-5pm and the portions sizes for food are very large. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for tasty drinks + affordable prices this is the bar for you. I would say that this bar gives more of a laid back vibe. It's perfect for coming with friends or dates! I arrived around 9:30 pm on a Saturday night with one of my friends (who is a bartender here). Everyone who works here was super polite and friendly! They're also great bartenders! The drinks came out quickly too. I ordered the Cool Bean drink which is basically equivalent to an espresso martini. The drink had a strong espresso taste which masked the taste of alcohol (which I liked). Definitely worth a try if you're into Espresso Martinis. I highly recommend Aj' s on Hanover to everyone. It's a great place for socializing and also for great drinks. I can't wait to come back and try their food menu!

Food was delicious! Good portion size. Service was extremely slow. Came here for dinner one night with a group of friends, the place was reasonably busy on a weekday night. We ordered a couple of different things to share. I got the crabcake burger and that was absolutely amazing. Super meaty crab, thick patty. They didn't put too much sauce on it to not overpower the crab, and I really appreciated that. We also got the short rib grilled cheese and that thing was so bomb. Absolutely delicious. The grilled brussels sprouts as an appetizer was good too. Although a little pricey. Service was extremely slow, took a very long time for us to get our food. Also our drinks was not refilled, and we didn't really see our server. He was very nice but we just didn't get much of our requests filled. Overall I definitely come back for the food. And I'm really curious about the brunch that they serve here. Those crab cake egg Benedict's looks amazing.

Located on the top level of Crossbar Biergarten, The Wurst is a true hidden gem. You would never know it was there unless someone told you. The entrance is literally a walk-in freezer door just to the left of the stairs on the second floor, which adds to the fun speakeasy feel. We stopped in for pregame drinks before a nearby Yelp Elite event, and it did not disappoint. We were the only ones in the bar, and our bartender was fantastic, quick, friendly, and clearly knew his craft. I ordered a Paper Plane, a whiskey based cocktail with Aperol, lemon, and Amaro Nonino. It was perfectly balanced and the ideal drink to have after work. My fiancée ordered the Pornstar Martini, which she became very familiar with during a recent trip to Paris. The Wurst's version was a bit unorthodox since they serve the champagne on the side instead of as a floater on top. Not a negative, just different, and more of a deconstructed approach that some might treat like a chaser. Overall, The Wurst is a really cool concept bar that feels unlike anything else in Federal Hill. Between the hidden entrance, relaxed atmosphere, and quality drinks, it is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy creative cocktails and a good story to go with them.

So we got settled immediately and started ordering. Our gracious server asked for drinks, which have a bottomless option during brunch. We could pick from mimosas, crushes, sangria and bloody marys. I tried everything but the bloody marys, and while they were good, whew there was a lot of ice in the mimosa... I'm not used to ice there, so it threw me off but it was still good! The REAL highlight was the food... the item I got changed my life: Crab. Cake. Eggrolls. They came with this amazing sweet chili sauce and were so filling and delicious! I also got chicken & waffle sliders to go that had a nice kick and the waffle texture was great! My cousin enjoyed his food as well. Also, shout out to the bagel wall that's on the way to the bathroom. It had great options and all the fixings! If I wasn't full I would've gotten one myself. I will return here for brunch.

Its…read moreusually hard to get a breakfast buffet wrong but unfortunately this buffet experience was lackluster. They offered a variety of items: deviled eggs, scrambled eggs, chicken and waffles, beef and chorizo quesadillas, sausage, home fries, and French toast. They advertised fruit salad on the menu but they didn't have it out on the day we went. For starters, the food was lukewarm. Everything could have tasted so much better if it was warm. Even when they would refill the pans, everything was still not warm enough. The restaurant was not packed but they were slow to refill for the parties that were there. When we tried to go back for a second plate, most of the items weren't replenished and the line was getting longer. It was so bad that one group asked to pay for their drinks and leave because they weren't able to get any food. My option of each item: Deviled eggs- yolk mixture was on the drier side and bland Scrambled eggs- they were ok. Just needed to be warm Chicken and waffles- it was giving "chicken tender on eggo waffle" chicken was better than the bland waffle. It also didn't help that the syrup they had was cold and thick. It made the waffle (and French toast) colder and hard to swallow. French toast- the first batch was (with the exception of being cold) perfectly cooked and dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. The refill batches were so burnt and hard to chew and they didn't bother putting powdered sugar on them. Again, the cold syrup didn't help. Beef and chorizo quesadillas- they may have been a crowd favorite because getting a second serving was hard because they kept going quickly and took a while to replenish. They just needed to be warmer and served with sour cream. Home fries- great with the peppers and onions. Just need to be warmer. Sausage- my least favorite thing because it didn't taste like Sausage. It was very dry. Sadly, the food was a epic fail. This may be a great place for cocktails because the bartender mixed our margaritas perfectly. They had a Build Your Own Margarita menu with many different flavor options. I opted for the watermelon margarita with a Tajin rim. Delicious! My friend had a pineapple mango margarita with sugar rim and he was impressed also. The drinks earned them an extra star because otherwise, I think the food and the slow refilling of the buffet earned it 2 stars.

There was a convenience fee added to my check but have no idea what that was for. Also, they automatically add 19% gratuity to the bill. Overall I would revisit to try some other things on the menu.
