I went to see Dr. Gresham today as a new patient and can only say positive things about this doctor…read moreand his practice. I went in with a specific eye issue I am experiencing and after spending 25 minutes with me, he stopped the eye examination and very politely informed me that he could not treat me for the issue I had and did not want to continue on with the exam and waste my time (which was after going through some eye tests and determining what my exact problem was). He was also beyond generous to not charge my insurance for the appointment, even though I took up his very valuable time. He even referred me to a specialist that can properly treat / monitor my condition. I have had bad experiences in the past with doctors, dentists, etc that "treat" you for something just so they can get paid. It is very rare to find someone in this field that you can trust, that is truly honest and looking out for your best interests and Dr. Gresham definitely has these qualities. You can tell he cares about his patients and their well-being and that is personally all I can ever ask for in a doctor. Although he couldn't help me today with my issue, I will not only be back for my annual eye exams but referring family members / friends as well.

We explained the situation and he asked to review the circumstances and get to us by the end of the day, which he did. The CEO JD, offered to refund us the cost of the glasses and the last dr. visit. We accepted this and we have since gotten a check from them for the monies that were incurred. We appreciate the fact that they were doing Do diligence and fixed the situation. We wish now that we had had recourse at the time of the incident and all of this could have been avoided. Thank you Frantz Eye Care for making things right. Don't get me wrong, maybe they are, but for me I was very disappointed. I have been waiting to do LASIK my whole life. I finally have the courage and the finance to make it happen. I made appointments with 3 different companies making sure I do my due diligence. I honestly thought Frantz was going to win over all. When I walked into their beautiful office, the first thing I noticed was how many employees were standing around. When they took me back to a "station" I could see a lot of employees standing around together talking and laughing-think house party atmosphere. I also got the feeling I wasn't a person, just a number being herded around to different stations. I ignored all of that, just thought it was weird. The woman took me back to a room and answered my questions to the best of her ability. She was bland and never even smiled. I felt like I was just another person she cold check off her list. She told me the next step was showing my tests to the surgeon, and she would call me back later that afternoon or the next day. I was there a total of 30-40 minutes. IT HAS BEEN 8 days SINCE THE APPOINTMENT...NO CALL, I wrote a review on their website, and ONLY then did they call. I haven't returned their call becuase what can they do now? I have already gone with another surgeon. I was worried about having my eyes done because it's your eyes. This interaction didn't instill any kind of comfort, ease, or confidence they would do it correctly.
