I would highly recommend Alexandra's Boutique for anyone wanting to try on dresses!! Kayla reached out to be as soon as I booked the appointment and communicated with me beforehand to make sure she understood exactly what styles I was looking for. On the day of, the client before me was running over time so my appointment started late, but the store graciously offered us champagne and charcuterie to thank us for being patient - overall, we felt super taken care of and valued! Kayla was very present, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone who isn't 100% sure about dresses yet, because the staff were gentle and not pushy. They just wanted us all to have a good experience I will also say, as an LGBTQ+ bride, I felt very welcomed/affirmed!

Amazing place, most kind and helpful staff who know exactly what they're doing, beautiful dress inventory as they have anything you could imagine or ever wanted. I walked into Alexandra's Boutique not knowing what I was doing and before I knew it I was walking out with a dress of my dreams. I had a stylist named Alyssa helping me who knew just what I wanted without me even knowing. She was so helpful and pleasant and worked with my budget and everything so perfectly. I couldn't be happier and now more excited to wear my new wedding dress from Alexandra's Boutique. I will alway highly recommend this store to anyone and everyone as the years go on. Thank you thank you thank you!

Where else to go to get a gorgeous dress for a special event than Alexandra's? Seriously. If you need a gown, GO. I was so impressed by the gorgeous, sparkling clean shop with tons of dresses in every color for every shape, size, and style of taste. The team here goes above and beyond to assist, and honestly make you feel beautiful and select gowns to try that fit your aesthetic for the event you are looking for. Yadira was my consultant, and she was excellent - attentive, fun, and made what could have been a stressful shopping experience a positive one where I left smiling with a beautiful gown (the pictures DO NOT do the dress justice! It looked better in person :) Whether you're looking for prom, gala, or just to feel pretty, Alexandra's is definitely the place to go.

5 Stars - The Most Magical Experience with Gina at Alexandria's in Fall River! From the moment I walked into Alexandria's, I knew I was in wonderful hands but meeting Gina Urbano made my wedding dress shopping experience unforgettable. Gina is truly gifted at what she does. She listened so carefully to my vision, asked thoughtful questions, and somehow knew exactly how to guide me toward the dress that made me feel beautiful, confident, and completely myself. She created such a warm, welcoming, and stress‑free environment. Every gown she pulled felt like it was chosen with my personality, style, and wedding day in mind. When I finally stepped into my dress, it was such a magical moment and Gina's smile said it all before I even turned to the mirror. She celebrated with me, made me feel so special, and ensured every detail was perfect. If you're searching for your dream dress, I cannot recommend Gina enough. Her kindness, professionalism, and true passion for helping brides shine are unmatched. Thanks to her, I have the perfect dress for my wedding day, and I will treasure this experience forever. Thank you, Gina, for making my dream a reality!

Allie is a 10/10 - so personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the process of finding a wedding dress so relaxing and fun! She was so friendly leading up to the appointment via email, asking all the questions to know my style & price range, picked the most perfect styles, and helped me find the one! I couldn't recommend working with Allie more! read more

I have had a wonderful experience at Alexandra's. Their team of stylists (shout outs to Justine!! ) is amazing. The team is very knowledgeable about the inventory and designers, and did a great job of listening to what I wanted when selecting dresses for me. My stylist made me feel comfortable right away and found me the perfect dress. read more

This is the place if you want the Say Yes to the Dress vibe (which I did lol). Over 6000 dresses in stock and their bridal stylists know their stuff. I would give 5 stars to the shopping experience and the actual dress. Taking away one star because after you buy the dress I didn't feel that communication wasn't that great when I was trying to buy extra lace pieces as well as the person who helped me try on my actual dress when it came in kept stepping on my dress. My bridesmaid actually had to tell her to be careful. read more

This store is very well known and it is very busy. It's very overstimulating and because of that I wouldn't recommend brides to go here. Wedding dress shopping is a vulnerable experience, connected to lots of raw emotions and a busy, fast paced environment can make the experience emotionally confusing if you aren't sure of what dress you want. Nonetheless, my experience felt similar to when you buy a car and you're getting a sales pitch (in the classiest way possible). Every interaction felt like a possible transaction for them. I felt pressured in more than one occasion (I've been here three times for three different things) to make a downpayment. NOTE: this is a full service shop, meaning the helper picks dresses for you, you don't get to look around at the dresses they have. I understand why they do it this way, but there are many other shops that let you look at dresses... and that can make all the difference. read more
I am very surprised by the low ratings here but I had a great experience. Usually my reviews are only for restaurants but I feel the need to share my opinions here! I was recommended to this boutique by a friend who also found her wedding dress here - I was assigned a stylist couple of weeks leading up to my appointment and she reached out asking me questions so she could be prepared the day of my appointment. The day before my appointment, I had to change the time and luckily they were able to accommodate a different time for me on the same day of my original appointment date but this meant that I had to be assigned a new stylist. I met Kayla S day of and we chatted for no more than 5 minutes to go over what I was looking for and the first batch of dresses she pulled for me I loved! I had gone to another shop the day before and went home a little disappointed so my expectations were low and I was not expecting to find my dress on this visit either but even the second batch of dresses Kayla pulled had me swooning over some of them - I was so excited but at the same time stressed cause I had so many options now! But we ended up with top three and it was so hard cause I just loved them all. Kayla was so helpful, friendly, and even though I gave her a pretty wide range in terms of budget to work with she pulled dresses based on my design and style preferences instead of trying to hit the maximum end of my budget. They asked all the right questions when helping me decide and added a veil and even gave me a bouquet so I can really envision myself on my wedding day. The dress I really loved had one minor detail that I was curious if the designer could change and Kayla got her manager who made the call and they said that it was definitely something they could adjust! Amazing people work there - they truly made me feel special and even though their inventory is huge, they were so thoughtful on taking my very vague preferences and bringing me truly beautiful dresses to try on that made me feel like a bride. The drive was a little far from me coming in from Boston, but I would recommend this place in a heartbeat as I am confident that if they can help me (who had no idea what she wanted and had ideas all over the place) they can help anyone! While I cannot speak for all the stylists that works there, as it appears some people might not have had the same experience as me, all those that I interacted and worked with: Kayla S, her manager, the nice lady that finalized paperwork for me were all very helpful and nice so I had a amazing time and it just made my day! read more

I really wanted to enjoy my wedding dress shopping experience here, as I had purchased a bridesmaid dress here in 2019 with no issues, but that was not the case for me. I quickly learned this store has unfair, shady business practices and I have lost over $700 because of it. While my stylist was nice, I did get the overall feeling that employees are encouraged to pressure/talk clients into buying dresses rather than actually taking the client into consideration. It felt to me like I was just another sale, and was told that I was "silly" for wanting to go to multiple bridal shops and try on multiple dresses (as I had been to one bridal shop before). Additionally, it felt as though I was being judged for my price range, as my stylist told me that there were no dresses in my price-range that fit the style I wanted (I said my price range was $1.2K, but then I was later told that I had tried a dress on that was $500-$600). The dress selection was impressive, but I found an equally impressive selection at a different bridal shop for much more affordable prices that were in my price range. I actually went back to that particular bridal shop this week to purchase the dress I really wanted there as my mother was able to help me pay for it as it was much more reasonably priced for us and was so much prettier/looked so much better on me than any of the dresses I tried on at Alexandra's. I decided to go with this dress because I have no intention on driving 40 minutes back to Alexandra's for another uncomfortable, shady experience. This was the worst part: There was one dress that I liked, but was on the fence about. My stylist pressured me into putting the dress on a 24 hour hold. I decided I would do that. I thought it was odd that I had to fill out paperwork, sign a contract and put my credit card in to be charged for 60% of the dress that I wasn't even committed to or sure I was going to buy yet. I figured though that if I decided I did not want the dress, the charge would be removed from my card. My stylist failed to tell me that a "hold" really meant that I would be putting a deposit towards the dress that was going to be non-refundable and instead turn into "store credit". As far as I'm aware, this is not typically how holds work for any other item at any other store. I've never had an experience like this placing a hold on an item, especially if I haven't even committed to buying the item yet. If I had known this, I would not have signed the contract and would have decided not to go through with the hold. The next day, I ultimately decided I did not want the dress, so I contacted my stylist and told her not to order the dress. She said she would cancel the hold and happily turn my deposit into "store credit" that can only be put towards another bridal gown (which I do not need anymore, and wouldn't return to Alexandra's for a dress shopping experience anyways). If I was able to use this store credit for other items such as jewelry or even towards bridesmaids dresses, I might be inclined to go back, but there bogus store policy prevents this. This is a huge waste of money (that I don't really have to begin with as finances aren't ideal for me at this time) and I'm disappointed I can't even use "store credit" for any other items in the store. I understand I signed a contract acknowledging that deposits turn into store credit, but I also wasn't talked through the contract, wasn't told what I was signing, and felt rushed through the process. It felt very clear to me that my stylist was just desperate for the sale/commission. I think it's a pretty bad/shady business model to charge customers for items on "hold" that they may not even end up buying and for dresses that might not even be ordered. I also wish my stylist had been more transparent about this, because now I feel like I was swindled into something that caused me to lose a significant amount of money. It's very clear I was lied to just to get a sale. Save your time, money and energy and shops elsewhere. If you do decide to go here, make sure you read every line of the sketchy contract you're forced to sign or at the very least make sure your stylist explains the contract to you. read more

Alaina was the absolute best. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses so I was very nervous coming into it. I had a vision in mind, but was open to trying anything because I wasn't sure what would look good on me. Alaina pulled all different kinds of dresses for me to try and made sure to listen to what I liked and didn't like about each. I was between two different dresses and she didn't make me feel like we were on a time crunch when I was going back and forth between the two. Ultimately, I found the dress that day and bought it. Never once did I feel pressured to buy the dress that day which made it a lot easier on me. The space itself in Alexandra's was absolutely beautiful. There was a lot of space for myself and my party that I brought with me and Alaina made sure to help them feel comfortable as well. I was so shocked and thrilled that I found the dress my first time shopping but it was really all because of Alaina. She's the absolute best and I can't recommend her enough. Thank you for a great experience! read more

I called Alexandra's Bridal looking for a specific mother of the bride dress. I had been misinformed by a different bridal shop on the length of time it would take to order a dress. Now I was panicked not knowing what kind of dress I could even get. My sister did a picture search for the dress and Alexandra's Bridal came up. I called and Dwayne answered. He was kind, understanding of what I had already gone through and helpful. He immediately checked for the dress. They had it! He walked me through ordering the dress online and sent me the required paperwork. Please know that Dwayne is a Great Employee! What started as a bad situation became a great time. I was even laughing with Dwayne at the end of my conversation! Thank you Alexandras Bridal AND Dwayne! Wonderful Customer Service! read more

Despite their beautiful selection of dresses, I unfortunately had a very bad experience with Alexandra's Boutique I ordered my dress in February 2020 and picked it up in July 2020. During my first fitting, I could not get the dress on at all. I figured it was because the dress needed to be altered - which was discussed with the sales associate prior to ordering. The sales associate during the first fitting suggested I lose weight...which was completely wrong to say for so many reasons. I left Alexandra's that day feeling very discouraged, cried on the drive home, and put my dress in my closet for the next year (since my wedding was rescheduled due to Covid). This August I brought my dress to an expert Bridal seamstress. The dress still didn't fit and when she measured it, I discovered the dress was 3.5" smaller in the hips than what was written on my Alexandra's paperwork and the dress CANNOT be altered because there isn't enough fabric! When I called Alexandra's, I spoke to a sales associate and explained what happened. She looked me up in their computer system and read from the computer exactly what I had on my copy of the receipt. She then transferred me over to the manager who proceeded to tell me my information was no longer in the computer because it was too long ago ( which was not true, because the sales associate read to me what was in the computer). All the manager offered was that I could bring the dress in to be looked at. I no longer live in New England and even if I did make the trek up to Falls River, I feel like it would be a huge waste of time since it cannot be altered and I don't think I'd be able to get another dress in time for my wedding. read more

I feel it necessary to share my overall experience my daughter and I had at Alexandra's Bridal Boutique. Their selection of inventory is amazing and the store layout and process is excellent. Unfortunatley, I do feel their customer services is awful. The agents are extremely pushy, their focus is on getting the final sale which I understand but I found them to be rude and not helpful. Sadly we purchased two dresses, my daughter had a change of heart on her first gown, and before we could explain our situation they aggressively told us of there no return policy which we were well aware off when we bought the first gown. They kept reiterating the policy, which I told them numerous times I understood , but they absolutely could of turned this situation around and be more caring and understanding than shoving policy down our throat. From this experience we choose not to buy the $1,200 vail from and choose not to do our alternations with them either because the experience was so bad. So this loss of approx $2,000 and a bad review is what it really cost them. If I was to advise a future bride I would tell them to go there find the dress and style you want and then buy it somewhere else where people care and want to legitimately help you. The first Sales lady we had was Kayla Blaze, and she was amazing and related to my daughter very quickly. Sadly she was not available for the second dress purchase. I rarely write reviews but being in the customer serivce industry for years this is not ok. read more

Alexandra's Boutique is like wedding dress heaven. They have over 4,000 wedding dresses and, while that might seem overwhelming, they have the most amazing stylists to help you narrow down what you'd like. I would HIGHLY recommend Hannah Enos - she was absolutely incredible and listened to everything I was looking for. She mentioned creating a Pinterest board of what I liked before hand so that she had an idea of what styles to pull while also throwing in some curveballs because you truly don't know what you'd like until you are zipped up in that dress. The dress I said yes to she pulled in our first round (we had three total of multiple dresses) - talk about knowing exactly what your bride wants out of 4,000 dresses. And, on top of that, I don't think I would have ever pulled it myself from the rack. She was amazing!! With my wedding coming up soon, they were so accommodating of letting me purchase off the rack - Hannah only pulled dresses I could buy that day to not tempt me with anything special order - and made it so easy to ship my dress to where I live in Charlotte, NC. Do not question whether or not you should book an appointment - just do it!! And ask for Hannah :) Thank you guys so much for such an amazing experience that I will never forget! read more

We went to Alexandra's in the morning and had a second appointment nearby afterwards. My stylist was very kind, supportive, and helpful. Her manager on the other hand was pushy and aggressive in a used car salesman way. I was looking for something specific (aren't we all?) and we seemed to have run out of options, so I was wearing the best option remaining when the manager came back over. I didn't love it and it would have needed a lot of tailoring (more than just for sizing) to create the perfect dress out of the one I was wearing. The manager tried to get me to cancel my next appointment ("why bother wasting your time? What could you find there that you can't find here? Is there another style you want to try? Let's find more to try here! If you like this dress, just go celebrate!") and tried to rush my decision. I'm a fairly strong-willed person and I was starting to waver under the pressure. It was awkward, rude, and aggressive. They don't let you take photos of the dresses unless you buy it - they told me was a rule from the designers, which is nonsense. They carry the same designers as other stores and every other salon lets their customers take as many photos as they like. It's part of the process and the only way to keep track of all the different dresses. I found the perfect dress at a different store but even if I hadn't, I would not have purchased from a business that utilizes such manipulative tactics. Avoid. read more

I recommend NOT going to Alexandria's unless you are 100% certain you want to buy a dress THAT day. Absolutely unbelievable, pushy sales tactics. I felt like I was the consultant's ticket to hitting a sales quota more than a bride looking to find a dress for ME. The appointment started with the consultant trying to convince me that my favorite gown (I showed a picture to give her an idea of what I like) is discontinued/no longer available. Not only was she wrong but she wasn't even referring to the correct designer?? Nice scare tactic. Maybe we should focus on the dresses YOU sell rather than worrying about my experience elsewhere? She also put a veil on me in a dress that was 1000% NOT going to my dress, clearly in an attempt to convince me it was the one. She then proceeded to tell me that the goal is to find a dress and I "need to decide soon" (My wedding is in over 13 months) 0/5 for experience. I don't care how nice of a selection of wedding dresses you have. You should not shame and pressure your brides. EVER. read more

So disappointed! Would not recommend if you plan on staying on budget. My attendant and her manager did not respect my price range which I clearly communicated in advance via email and during the appointment. CONS: 1. Did not respect budget! 2. Put me in dresses I would have to order, knowing they would not make the deadline for my wedding 3. Presented me with a "letter" from my fiancée to help close the sale on a dress that was 30-40% over my budget, which was not actually written by him, but selected from a list of templates. PROS: 1. Beautiful building 2. Reached out prior to the appointment Be wary of being preyed upon during an emotional time. Stick to your guns! read more

My first appointment looking for my dress was magical. My consultant Brianna who no longer works there was so understanding and went ABOVE and beyond. She didn't rush the process and looked high and low to find the dress. Today I went to pick my dress up. I had another person working with me to try on my dress. The dress came in way to big which is fine it needed to altered. I just felt like this was suppose to be such a magical day and exciting and it was far from that. It depends who you work with on your experience. The person I was working with didn't even try to clamp the dress to give me a vision. I had to hold my own dress to picture what I would look like. They also have a robe promotion going on. I was not given a robe when I picked up my dress. read more

The dress I went with, I picked out even though you're not supposed to search the racks (I saw it from afar). It was the last thing I tried on during my two hour apt. I provided photos and even specific dresses from their website and I felt like my stylist completely missed the mark. When I asked for a specific dress, she for whatever reason did not bring it out and did not provide a reasoning for why. Throughout the appointment I also felt very cramped in the space they provided and it didn't feel very personal. My biggest frustration is the sizing. The dress I tried on was too big to the point it needed clipping. The stylist insisted I order a size above that sample size even though it was big as is. (I would have been ok ordering the size of the sample, I understand you're supposed to order bigger than your size.) So, now I'm paying a ton in alteration costs and the dress needs a lot of reconstruction because it is beyond too big. Definitely have mixed feelings about this place and wish I could go back and redo my experience and choose somewhere else. read more

We had the BEST time bridal dress shopping here. I brought my mom, future MIL, and my 5 bridesmaids and we had a wonderful time! We booked the Luxe appointment and enjoyed every moment - my consultant Kailey was absolutely FANTASTIC - she started me off with 5 dresses with different elements to give a good taste of everything and see what I felt best in, based on my pinterest inspiration board. She was an incredible listener, and picked out a gorgeous second round of dresses that were all amazing. Most surprisingly, the "wild card" she pulled for me in the first round - the one that was unlike anything I had thought I wanted - was THE ONE!! That is how great she is at pulling dresses...she pulled something I never would have but I felt 100% comfortable and myself in. I highly recommend Kailey and Alexandra's Boutique. I felt so comfortable, happy, and she made me feel beautiful and heard throughout the appointment. As a midsize, curvier gal I felt so comfortable in every dress she pulled that accentuated my favorite features :) read more

This is a LONG overdue review! Thank you SO much for making my shopping experience WONDERFUL. To make a long story short, my husband recieved his year deployment orders and since we were already engaged we decided that we should getting married before he left. A little over Three months to plan!!!! I was stressed, in the middle of relocating back to RI due to the deployment, and certainly overwhelmed. I WISH I could remember the girls name who helped me, but she was wonderful and helped guide me. I told her what I was looking for style wise and she really hit the nail on the head. Found in stock my size with the right underlay. And listened so well. She listened SO well.. that it wasn't until I got down stairs - you sign next to q photo of the dress - that I realized this was the first dress I ever pinned on my Pinterest account that I loved so much. I was so overwhelmed and in love with the dress, but never imagined that I would be able to get it due to the time constraints - so I didn't even ask. She just knew what I liked and wanted. And I ended up with the dress I was dreaming of. Thank you for helping make my wedding as perfect as it was in a very difficult time. And he is back from his deployment safe and sound since September! Everything was perfect! read more

After having a bad experience at another popular bridal salon where I found my dress (but did not purchase, as I wasn't expecting to find it and my mom wasn't with me to share in the moment), I made an appointment at Alexandra's so my mom could see the dress on and with hopes of saying Yes to my dress. My appointment at Alexandra's started off totally normal and upbeat, but took a turn when my consultant Sandy asked how many other salons I had been to. This was my 6th appointment, and was more so my mom could see the dress I really liked, but to also validate it was the style I wanted. For such a big purchase, I wanted to be certain. After hearing it was my 6th appointment trying on dresses, Sandy acted like I had been to 100 appointments, saying "that's the most I've ever heard!", which didn't make me feel very confident. Although I filled out the detailed questionnaire when I booked my appointment, responded to the same questions via email prior to my appointment, and told Sandy in-person what styles I liked, she did not shop for me. She pulled 3 dresses total, one being my dress, and the other 2 being ones from their website I indicated interest in on the questionnaire. I'm not sure what made her decide that I wasn't worth pulling other dresses for, but it immediately put a damper on the appointment and made me feel boxed in. I shared with Sandy why my appointment at the other popular salon didn't go well (I felt pressured to buy without my mom being present, being told "just FaceTime her!", and to put a deposit down and come back with her to try on and pay the remainder...none of which is how I envisioned saying "yes" to my dress). This was starting to feel that way--the pressure and all about the sale. When I was in My Dress, it was a different color than I originally tried on, which threw me off. That, paired with being thrown off by how Sandy reacted to how many salons I had been to and not feeling worthy of trying on other dresses, I really wasn't feeling that great. To make things worse, instead of talking me up or using language to help me visualize my wedding day in this dress and veil, Sandy leaned over a chair and said "what is it about this dress that you aren't saying yes to", in a tone that was scolding and accusatory, in front of another group who was waiting for their bride to come out. I felt put on the spot, and was so embarrassed and wanted out of the dress. Not at all how I wanted to feel. When I was changing and tried asking Sandy what order times were looking like, she gave me short, clipped answers. I asked what the style of the veil was, if she could put it in my file because I really liked it, with a "yup" as her response. She didn't even offer to take my measurements if I wanted to come back for a second appointment or call in to order. I felt brushed aside and like a waste of her time, aka only a sale. I've seen other great reviews here, and they do have a great selection and the other staff seemed friendly. However I highly discourage anyone from booking an appointment with Sandy, you will only be viewed as a sale and will drive home in tears. I hope management views this review and offers her some training, as my appointment was incredibly inappropriate and it would be terrible if anyone else has this experience. Because of their selections for bridesmaids and mother of the bride/groom, I was thinking of making those appointments here, but now will not be. I do not want my mom, MIL, or bridesmaids to feel anything less than happy, beautiful, and stress-free when shopping for their dresses, and I can't guarantee a good experience here based on my own. The good news is, I didn't let the appointment completely ruin my experience in My Dress. I did love it and watched back the photos and videos in the color I originally tried it on it, and ended up ordering it---but from another salon. One who doesn't even carry the designer, but due to the owner's connections and kindness, offered to order it for me. What a world of a difference, being treated like a human with a huge decision to make, and being told "we wish you the best, no matter which direction you go in!" I will bring my business to an establishment like that 10 times over one like this. read more

BRIDES/BRIDESMAIDS BEWARE I got my wedding dress here 3 years ago and I have referred many people here as I had a great experience. Unfortunately this last experience has been unacceptable. We were fit for bridesmaid dresses, paid and had them shipped to us. Two of us were sent the wrong dresses and one was sent the wrong size. Fortunately the two of us sent the wrong dresses live close enough that we can swap with each other... The woman that was sent the wrong size dress was told that she could not return or exchange the dress, although it was clearly an error on their part. In order to get a new dress she would have to BUY another one! Customer service here is absolutely unacceptable, as the OWNER actually went as far as calling the bride of this party "rude and ungrateful" when she was trying to fix yet another mistake they made (mixing up all the style #s for the dresses). mistakes are a way of life and they do happen while running a business, but how mistakes are handled is everything. It seems like the owner of the boutique is only concerned with being defensive and accusatory. Do not shop here because if they make a mistake it will end up being your fault and you will be paying for it! read more

I went in for my appointment and worked with Melissa, and wow! Myself and my group were very impressed with her, she was fun and bubbly and she was incredibly in tune with exactly what I wanted. She asked me my budget and made sure to stay right in that price range. The best part of the experience was when she pulled the exact dress I wanted to try without me even mentioning it. I told her I wanted simple and elegant, and with just that she knew exactly what I wanted. I honestly couldn't have been more satisfied, I was dreading the experience because I was worried I wouldn't find something that fit or that would be ready in time. I walked out that day with my dream dress and it was all thanks to her. I very highly recommend coming here for your dress! read more

While the service on the sales side is great buyer beware. The $500+ dress we purchased literally fell apart (strap broke and seams just opened up and unraveled) within 2 hours of wearing the dress. Just as an update I did go back here last weekend and ended up purchasing my dress. If you request it you can even enjoy some champagne during your dress shopping appointment. The paperwork process was easy and quick. I was exactly one of the sizes but Caroline suggested going with the one size up, which I agreed with because the last thing you want is a wedding dress that is too tight. They were having a knot.com promo so I was able to get $100 off and a free veil. My mother will be returning this month to try on some Mother of the Bride dresses. She tried on another one last time which was beautiful. There mother of selection really cannot be beat, there is quite the variety. I was a little disappointed that when we went back to get my mom a dress they told us we couldn't use the discount from buying my wedding dress there on Jovani dresses. They of course told us this at check-out and since most of their mother of the bride dresses are Jovani I was not thrilled. She did up getting a beautiful dress and the ladies who work that floor were all super helpful and patient with her. read more

I really had an amazing experience at Alexandra's!! Would definitely recommend! 1. They were very flexible about scheduling my appointment and I was able to get in on short notice (during the holidays, which is a busy time for them). Very quick and responsive to emails and inquiries. 2. My consultant Brianna was FANTASTIC! I told her what specific features I was interested in for a dress (low back and off the shoulder) but otherwise told her I really didn't know if I wanted all lace or what shape/silhouette...she gave me a variety of dresses to try on and listened to my feedback, but ultimately I went with the very first dress I tried on which she suggested! She also was very good about adhering to my price restrictions when pulling dresses for me to try. 3. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the shop was inside! If the ambiance of where you get your dress is important to you then this place was very nice! To be clear, the decor is not on par with a trendy/high-end boutique in NYC or Boston, but it's very classy, clean and elegant environment! And best of all when you find your dress they provide the champagne! 4. One thing to be aware of, they do not let you take pictures/videos of the dresses you're trying on...they will only let you take videos/pics of the dress you say yes to. So if you're plan is to send pictures/videos to a friend who cannot make the appointment to get their feedback in real time, they will not allow it. read more

Yesterday I was able to say YES to the dress! I had a fantastic experience at Alexandra's. The boutique is absolutely massive, clean, with a stylish-vibe, and SO many options no matter what type of dress you're looking for. Previous to my visit, I had went to 3 smaller-mid size boutiques around Boston and had 2 dresses I had liked but didn't know if they were quite *the one*. I knew what I liked/didn't like in dresses and was able to send my stylist, Kayla S, some options off Alexandra's website + inspiration photos to give her a better idea of my style. Kayla was super responsive via email during our initial communication, so I had already felt like we were off to a great start even before stepping into the boutique! When I arrived we chatted for a few minutes and she had some of the dresses waiting in my dressing room + pulled some other ones she thought I would like! I know some people in the reviews didn't love the fact they weren't able to peruse the dresses, but honestly I was thankful. Otherwise I would have been overwhelmed AF in there. Throughout the process Kayla S was kind, professional, and patient! I loved that she really listened and didn't try to *sell* me a dress. She had a purely consultative approach and I was so happy to have such a great experience with her and my family while finding my perfect dress! One piece of feedback would just be fine-tuning their website search. I wish there was an option to filter by categories such as silhouette (ie form fitting, mermaid, etc.) Or neckline, material etc just to make navigating the website a little better. Otherwise you have to know the designers you like via search or scroll through - and Alexandra's has so many options! (Which is a great thing) but I think it would help the customer be able to help their stylist prepare for their visit on the backend if they aren't quite sure what they were looking for, but luckily that wasn't the case for me lol. Honestly that's my only critique. Overall had an AMAZING experience, everyone that I ran into that worked there was super nice and am so thankful! If you're a bride make sure to go to Alexandra's and ask for Kayla S! read more

I was referred to Alexandra's by a friend who had a great experience here. Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience. I came here in April after making an appointment for my July wedding. "Late" I know. Online you could pick an associate but since I did not know of anyone, I just let it be random. Perry ended up being my associate. Before my appointment, Perry emailed me to find out what style I liked and didn't like. If I had gone anywhere else and my price range. On the day of my appointment, I walked into the store and didn't really get greeted. I had to wait a bit too. I was on time for my 1pm on a Friday. It was not busy. Perry lead me upstairs where she explained that she would be doing the shopping. Then if permitted she would be in the dressing room to help me in the dress. I said yes to that but I wish I didn't only because I felt pressure. The dresses she brought out was exactly what I was looking for but since you only get married once, I wanted to try some other styles. Other stores I went to did not have a variety like this store did. I know I have a July wedding but I wanted to see what a dress with sleeves would look like since I'd probably never get to try it. Immediately I was shot down by Perry so I let it go. I have really big arms from sports so I wanted to see what sleeves would look like. Since I had sent her the A line, beaded bodice and satin in my email. She locked into only those dresses. The dresses she brought me were all nice. The one I picked I really loved, fit well and needed a few alterations. The price was good too. I tried a veil and belt and loved them both but they were 1k so I passed on those. I said Yes to the dress and then Perry told me that she would pack that exact dress up. The sample floor one. I asked for a new one but she said it would not arrive until August. There were some stains and holes in this dress so I was reluctant but then felt pressure to get it with time winding down. She said the team there would fix the holes by replacing the mesh back and the stains. I went to pay and she had me sign a paper stating I was aware this is the floor model and it was final sale. I was super hesitant but signed it. I don't think I got a break on the price either. She made an appointment for me to come back once the dress was fixed in a few weeks. I left Alexandra's disappointed. I am not good with speaking up nor is my sister because she saw that I loved the dress before we found out only the floor one was available. Wedding activities are the most emotional and my experience here was not on the mark. I should have left elated but I wasn't. I definitely have some buyer's remorse because I feel like there were other dresses I could have tried on and I could have gotten something NEW. I ended up calling another wedding store since I knew they had the same dress brand and they told me that they could have the dress NEW in a few days since they preordered it. I tried to ask them if they didn't preorder when would it arrive and they said not until Fall. I honestly thought Perry lied to me to get me to buy the dress stating August. If it was preordered, It wouldn't take that long. If it wasn't then it would have arrived well past my wedding. So August still didn't make sense to me. Since I didn't believe Perry, I tried to call Alexandra's as a new bride inquiring about that dress. I left a message and they never called me back. (I was using a different number). In a few weeks, I had left work early to come pick up my dress. I came in and a very nice girl told me to go downstairs to their alterations department. I went downstairs and nobody was there. The room was not as nice as the ones upstairs. I waited a while then my sister went back upstairs to ask the girl for assistance. She ended up going to find my dress for me to try on. I'm not sure what was done because there were still holes on the seam area. Very noticeable and stains still on the bottom. The girl spoke to her manager and they said they would fix it then ship it to me. The manager never came to talk to me which I feel like she/he should have. Again I left uneasy. What if they didn't fix it and shipped it to me that way? So I patiently waited for the dress with hopes that it would arrive fixed. I sent an email to Perry regarding the status and heard nothing back. I had to call Alexandra's and the person who answered said the manager would call me back in a few days. I ended up getting an email with my UPS number a few days later. No call. I went to pick up my dress at the UPS pickup ( it was not shipped to my house) and immediately tried it on/checked it. The holes were fixed. The stains were sort of gone. Given my experience, I was over it and did not want to deal anymore. I told myself, the stains are on the bottom. Nobody will see it. I felt like a transaction rather than a beautiful bride. I would not recommend this place. read more

If we lived nearby it would be a place to go , but it's not worth the drive from elsewhere. The prom dresses are almost exactly alike , nothing under $600, and the atmosphere is snooty and unfriendly. We browsed the racks alone and tried the gowns on but were chastised for not "checking in" first. (No one told us to.). It's in a sketchy neighborhood so park in their lot behind the store. Next year we are going to David's bridal. read more

This was a disaster. In fairness my daughter did find a dress she wanted only to be told after that it was a limited edition and she would be buying the actual dress she tried on. We were assured this dress (3 sizes too big) could be altered to fit her, and that it could be cleaned and restored to look like new. It was apparent that altering a dress that big would likely cost the same as a custom designed dress and it was damaged beyond repair. The stylist clearly cared more about making a sale rather than having a shred of integrity. When you make a mistake don't present it as "a glitch" - own up to it, apologize, and take the loss. The mistake was disappointing. The way it was handled was abhorrent. read more

DO NOT GET TAKE YOUR Business here!!! I came here with my mother to purchase a mother of the bride dress. They pair you up with a "design expert," that sits with you and asks you questions about what your looking for. I wasn't impressed with our person. First of all she looked like she didn't want to be there but that wasn't the worst part, she took my mothers measurements wrong. And since they have a no-return policy we had to order a whole no dress because the dress she initially ordered was too tight. It wasn't completely her fault because we were under the impression we could make alterations. However, the alterations that needed to be made required a larger size dress to work with which is something an experienced seamstress or stylist should know. In addition to paying for a whole new dress, they do not do alterations for MOB dresses. So that will still be an additional cost. The entire experience was awful and is costing my mother close to $1000. It's too bad because they have such a beautiful store with lovely dresses. Unfortunately their staff is inexperienced and their customer service is awful. Do better. read more

I agree with a previous poster, BRIDES BEWARE. Ive been fortunate enough to find my dress, and have 4 other lovely dress shopping experiences (Camilla's, BHLDN, Tulle and Angela's Bridal were all wonderful) but my experience here sent me home in tears. I too should have read more of the reviews but I was enticed by their promise of inventory. However, the only way you can access this inventory is by describing your ideal dress to a gatekeep sales person. Im sure there are amazing women who are very skilled who work here, but if you happen to get a less experienced person, there is no way to access dresses other than describing them to your stylist. No pictures unless you say "yes to the dress". Every other place I went welcomed pictures and thought it was ridiculous that you couldnt take pictures here. They care about this so much that I looked up in my dressing room and there was a CAMERA overlooking my dressing room. I dont know how this is legal but it felt gross. Everytime I stepped out of the dressing room my stylist asked, "So what do you like about it, what dont you?" Great. But then when I answered she'd say, "well we are starting to make a dress baby and we cant have the ideal dress". I only described what Id like different on the dress because she asked. After a first round of dresses she asked, "so what silhouette do you like best" I answered, "Wow, I think I like both A-line and fit-and-flair" which distressed her for the next 90 minutes. She keep asking and when I stressed that I liked both she said we would never get anywhere if I was like that. I understand that it doesnt help narrow options down but I honestly liked both and gave her many other attributes that could help narrow the choices down. The last straw is that I saw a dress on a mannequin that I thought was lovely and I asked to try it on. She told me it was 500 dollars out of my price range. I told her that if it looked good on me, Id raise my range. She said no. I really couldnt believe it. Perhaps this system of "let your stylist do the shopping for you" works well for some, but if you like to take your time at all about such a major purchase for a major life event, this is not your place. I left demoralized and thought all dress shopping was going to be like that but instead I had other great experiences. So brides, if you want to be treated like more than bridal chattel, go some place else. read more

Sandy made the impossible possible. My wedding is very soon and I had very specific vision in my head. She was so communicative even before my appointment calling and emailing me to get a sense of what I was looking for. At the appointment she really understood what I wanted (even more than I did) and helped create my dream dress (literally in the first 30 minutes, she is that good) She even pulled the seamstress in to make sure what I wanted could be done. I felt so confident with her helping and so well taken care of. Truly cannot thank the whole team enough!! read more

I just said yes to my dress a few weeks ago thanks to Sandy Jackson!! I highly recommend working with her! She was so patient with me as I had no clue really what I liked going in. She recommended different styles, materials, and went off my feedback to continue finding new dresses that were closer to "the one"! Not only was she super helpful, but she was so nice and personable. I felt so comfortable working with her and she made my appointment feel so special. The last dress I tried on was the one I said yes to, and she knew it was going to be before she even showed it to me. Sandy made finding my dress an amazing experience. read more

I found out about Alexandra Boutique from my sister who bought her wedding dress in November from the smaller store next door Alexandra Boutique 2. Going into the store I was very excited, because I have never gone dress shopping and needed a dress for my wedding in August. They randomly give you a stylist if you do not have a referral. So when I met with my stylist we went up to the second floor because I told her my budget is 5k and when I showed her my inspiration picture from my phone. She told me my taste is more higher end so we moved to the third floor where the more expensive dresses are. My stylist told me we had to keep our masks on and there was no photography/ videography or FaceTime until I said yes to the dress. That was not the problem. When looking for dresses you are not allowed to browse or walk around, you have to sit in and wait for your stylist to pull you options, which was hard because really wanted to look around and get an idea of a dress that would catch your eye and I honestly had no idea what style I wanted. So I waited and she pulled me beautiful dresses as I tried them on my aunt went on her own and walked around and my other sister started taking photos, I told them the rules and the stylist said if they continue to not follow the rules my appointment will stop because supervisor watches above on the cameras, so I told them not to and we processed to try on dresses. My aunt said she saw a dress I might like but it was 9k which was way over what I wanted to spend, but I did try it on and didn't like it. So I found a dress that everyone loved that fit me like a glove but I just didn't feel me, they stylist asked if I wanted to try on any other styles and I said princess ball gown and so she pulled me another expensive dress that was $9600, and I knew it was the one you really do have goosebumps when you know but when I walked my family wasn't crazy about it which made me cry in the fitting room with my stylist which was very nice and understanding but I felt like she wanted to make a sale from my dress. And was not super pleasant with my family which didn't make it a good experience. Long story short the whole experience shopping wasn't the best experience and felt like my stylist was more concerned about my family taking pictures and that I wasn't going to buy anything and she would wasting her time. Even though I walked away with 10k wedding dress with vail and the stylist was definitely more pleasant when I said yes. I feel so happy with my dress but not with the experience. I was so overwhelmed with emotion I said yes and swiped my card. They should make everyone feel special with a budget high or low, I honestly told my sister I didn't want to buy from her but loved my dress so much! I hope this helps a future bride! Do your research on bridal stores, stylist and styles! read more

BRIDES BEWARE! This was such a horrible experience and by reading the other reviews, I should have listened. First of all, they do not have all the dresses on their website in the store. So I did a ton of research prior only to find out they didn't actually have half of what I wanted to see. Secondly, they literally told me a gown was discontinued that I loved (and they didn't have) but come to find out, it actually wasn't. WHY WOULD THEY LIE? I went to VOWS and bought it brand new. Such a better experience and highly recommend people who are actually transparent and offer great customer service. read more

This past weekend I had the honor of having Sandy Jackson as my consultant and she was absolutely extraordinary! She didn't look at me just as another "sale/bride", but she actually cared about how I felt at that moment and how I would on my wedding day. When I first made the appointment she is the one who answered the phone and I was able to give her my entire story and explain why this was going to be such an emotional and bittersweet moment in my life. Because of that, she refused to let me settle and did not give up until she found "the one" that I always pictured in my head, ever since I was a little girl. Not once did she get frustrated with me, or try to convince me to love something just to make the appointment go by quicker or to just make a sale. Each dress I tried on she stopped and asked me "what do you like, what don't you like, and what is missing". One of the last dresses I tried on was a princess ballgown (JUST FOR MOM), and Sandy knew immediately it wasn't for me. As badly as I would have loved to have that actual Cinderella feeling while walking down the isle, it simply was just too much dress for me. I finally told her exactly what I have always pictured myself walking down the isle in, and at that very moment she walked away, came back with 3 dresses, and gave me one of the most difficult decisions of my life. Each one was exactly what I was looking for, and all 3 of them were out of this world stunning and beautiful! I ended up going with the 2nd one simply because it had a little bit more sparkle, and I can honestly say, if it wasn't for Sandy, I don't think I would have ever found "that dress" I have always dreamed about. From the very beginning Sandy made my whole wedding gown search so much easier and more exciting. I gave her a strict budget over the phone and told her I could not go over no matter what. Not once, did she come back with a dress that was over my budget, and that alone meant so much because it showed me she didn't want me to fall in love with a gown that would always just be a fantasy and not a reality. Her honesty is remarkable! Even when I was trying on gowns she would tell me if something didn't look right, or if it wasn't good enough, or if she knew that I would have a tough time with the dress on my wedding day because I happen to be extremely small. The entire staff at Alexandra's is amazing! They are all so welcoming, have so much energy, and really take pride in making someone's fantasy become a reality. But I do have to say, from the moment I stepped through the doors, Sandy made me feel as if I was officially living in my own personal fairy tale. I wasn't just another "bride" to her; she took the time and got to really know me, which that right there, made the "hunt" so much easier. Without a doubt, I will be going back there to get my bridesmaid's dresses, grandmother's dress, flower girl's dress, and whatever else I can think of just to get my hands on another one of their gorgeous gowns. As I said before, everyone that works there is absolutely amazing! However, if you have the chance to have your appointment with Sandy, I highly recommend putting the request in. I promise, the moment you meet her, you will immediately start to feel as if you are in your own Disney movie. And, a little fun fact, I actually just got engaged this past January in DISNEY WORLD!!! I finally got my real life fairy tale that I always dreamed of and Sandy contributed to it, by finding my dress that was made and fit for a princess!! With that being said, Sandy I can't thank you enough for everything!! You are absolutely amazing and I can't wait to come back with my bridesmaids!! And to all of the other brides, Happy Wedding Gown hunting and Congratulations!!! Here's to Love, Laughter, and your Happily Ever After. -xoxo- read more

One of the best parts of planning my wedding was getting my dress & that's all because of Anthony Palmieri & Desi Ledo. To be honest, when I was told I was going to have a male consultant helping me find my dress I was a little nervous, because my experience trying on dresses at another bridal store had been very up close & personal to say the least. But Anthony has class with everything he does & made me feel so comfortable trying on dresses & in the end the whole process with him was a breeze. So if you're worried about that get that out of your head right now. From the moment he called me to confirm my appointment he was on point, letting me know letting me know what I should bring, asking who I was bringing, ect. And at my appointment he took the time to really understand what I wanted & what I didn't before pulling gowns. Three dresses later I had found the one. What I appreciated most of all about Anthony finding me this dress was that when he asked what my budget was I told him I could do $1500, but would be happier around $1000. So he made a point of pulling dresses in my lower price range first rather than try to get me to fall in love with something else for more money. And before I said yes to the dress I asked him if there was anything else he thought I could possibly love more & he said not unless I wanted to spend more money. So again he had the chance to upsell me & he didn't, because he cares about his brides & wants their dress to be perfect. (He even helped me pick my bridesmaids' dresses, because I couldn't see myself working with anyone else & I had a pregnant bridesmaid I was stressing over. And those dresses were perfect too, I'm so glad I went with his choice because the girls would've been dying in the style I picked with the weather we had that day.) I did run into few bumps during the alterations process, but Anthony was there to help fix everything even though it wasn't his department/responsibility to. He went so far above & beyond helping me. I wanted to add more lace to the back of my dress & a belt, so he found a lace that seamless matched the one already on there & helped me figure out how much beading I needed for the belt I was ordering. And when the seamstress Sue couldn't understand how I wanted these on the dress Anthony started coming to every appointment with me to make sure things were done right to the point where he was down on the floor & pinning the lace on himself. And Desi was his right hand girl through all of this making sure I was happy with how things were being done & making sure they actually got done correctly when I left. I also really appreciate them pulling in the head streamstress Connie to make sure everything was fitting the way it was suppose to. As much of chore as wedding planning can be I honestly looked forward to having to go the store, because Anthony is such a positive uplifting person no matter what was going on with my dress or in my life in general I left there in such a good mood & Desi only amplified this energy. If you want you want an experience that is just as memorable, not to mention stressless & affordable, go to Alexandra's Bridal Boutique & see Anthony for your dress & Desi & Connie for your alterations. read more

Wow better than Kleinfield's! This store is so luxurious and elegant on arrival and the staff is so friendly! With over 3000 dresses to choose from on arrival I said, "If I can't find anything here then there must be something wrong with me!". I heard nothing but great reviews from all the girls at work who found their dresses here. Upon making my appointment online I filled out the style questionnaire, so they'd have an idea of what I thought I wanted. Lauren O. went above and beyond! She called me 2 days ahead of time and sent an email asking for my Pinterest board or inspiration pictures. Her energetic positive energy had me feeling confident in her desire to help me not just find a dress but rather THE dress. She went as far as printing out & researching all of the dress screenshots I sent her to find out who made them, if they carried them, and similar dresses to try if they didn't have it. She had easily half a dozen dresses pre-pulled and helped me fine tune my style as we went. She pulled No's as we went to avoid getting overwhelmed and was very organized through the process. It was so relaxing for my girls to just sit back and enjoy the show. Even in dresses I didn't like she asked specifics like "Tell me about the neckline, color, shape, feel etc." to get a better idea of what to pull next rather than accepting a straight No and moving on. She made me feel like it was ok to not love a dress and by no means did I feel rushed or pressured. She even stayed over an hour and a half past her shift (& store closing!) to help me find the one. As we drove almost 2 hours to come here & my appointment was nearing an end, I was getting worried I wouldn't find the one. All the dresses I had tried on were pretty but just not me. Either too much or not enough, I couldn't find my goldilocks dress. I was losing hope I'd ever have that "This is the one" moment you see on TV. I had my maid of honor who flew in from out of state and was really hoping to find it with her there than continuing to search solo. Lauren O. did not give up on me and went for one last round before trying on the top contenders again. Suddenly when I was about to give up, she put me in a dress that had everything we were looking for & it baffled us why we both never thought to look at that one. It was it! There was not a dry eye in the room! We even went back through to the 4th, 3rd, & 2nd favorites before putting it back on to make sure! She patiently waited while we celebrated and facetimed with family who couldn't be there before moving onto measurements and ordering. What a heart of gold! Lauren O. made my experience, and I couldn't have found the dress without her knowledge, attention to detail, work ethic, patience, positive attitude & encouraging spirit. Icing on the cake was that Lauren O. was very respectful of budget and we ended up way under! Only negative is that I wish I had known they had a parking lot out back prior to paying for metered street parking. Oh well. Worth it! read more

I 1st learned of Alexandra's Boutique at a Bridal Expo last winter. Although the boutique is over 1.5hrs from my home, I am SO happy I decided to make an appointment and commit to the drive. I really appreciated the Boutique's COVID-19 safety policies in place, it made me feel more at ease bringing my elderly grandmother along who I really wanted to be part of the wedding dress shopping experience! Alyssa T. was my bridal stylist and she couldn't be more polite or kind! She happily greeted us at the front door when arrived and offered us an elevator when traveling up and down the levels so my grandmother felt more comfortable. As soon as the elevator doors opened it was truly bridal dress heaven!! The Boutique appeared bright & nicely organized. I appreciated each bride and their entourages were provided a semi-intimate place amongst the boutique to showcase different dress options. There was ample space in both the entourage waiting area and dressing rooms. The first few minutes of our trip was spent talking about my style & vision for my wedding dress. I was not aware prior to coming in that the stylists literally do everything for you-- including picking the dresses you try on unless you have any specific designer style # requests you ask for in the appointment intake form. I was very happy this policy was in place after all because not long after Alyssa quickly picked several dresses that fit within my criteria, the very first dress I tried on (I must add it was completely out of my radar when researching which dresses I would like to see..) it ended up being the dress I excitedly chose to wear during my Cape Cod wedding next June!! Since this was my first bridal dress shopping trip and I was shocked the very first dress I tried on would be "the one", Alyssa continued to support my request trying on more dresses with different styles & fabrics to be sure this dress not only met my bridal vision but also made me feel most comfortable. However, it was totally evident after comparing every dress to the 1st, admitting there was absolutely nothing about it I would change-- I realized I had definitely found my dream dress!! I disclosed my budget with Alyssa at the beginning of the appointment and every single dress she selected was well beneath it. With the difference, I was able to afford and buy a majestic cathedral length veil with the most delicate looking embroidery with Alyssa's help the same day! Alyssa T. was so professional during the entire visit and resourceful post-sale letting me know when my dress was ready for pickup. She even exchanged her contact information so I could share with her a picture of me in my dress all glammed up on my special day! The staff at this shop undoubtedly care about each individual bride and that shines through in the level of customer service they provide. I was referred to Alexandra's by multiple friends who have gotten their wedding dresses there. Being that it was my first-ever time trying on dresses, I was extremely nervous. My two sisters and I arrived at Alexandra's and immediately felt welcome. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. Despite this experience being during a pandemic, I felt safe, as all safety guidelines were being adhered to. As soon as I was handed off to Mali, I knew she was the bridal stylist for me. Mali immediately eased my nerves and made me feel comfortable. She sat down with my sisters and I to get a better sense of what I was looking for. She listened to my needs and wants, and took the time to ask me about my engagement, fiance, and wedding plans! It was clear that Mali also carefully reviewed the answers I sent to the inquiry questions she sent prior to my appointment. I told Mali that I was an indecisive person and that didn't plan on buying a dress that day. I simply told her I was just looking to get an idea of what I want. Low and behold, Mali worked her magic and did the unthinkable. After trying on just 7 dresses, I said yes to the dress! With each dress I tried on, Mali paid attention to the things I liked and disliked. Each time she came back with something more fitting to my style. She listened exactly to what I said and knew exactly what to bring to me next, until we landed on the perfect dress that checked off all of the boxes. During the whole process, Mali flooded me with compliments. Another stylist continued to come over as well and do the same. I truly felt special standing in front of the mirror in my dress. After choosing the dress and taking photos, Mali surprised me with a gift bag as she brought me up to take pictures in front of their ever-popular neon pink sign. My experience was just perfect, but it didn't end there. Being the worry wart that I am, I panicked the next day that the picture of the dress I took home was not the dress I tried on. I emailed Mali and she got back to me right away, once again easing my stress. She sent me all my order information and the link I could use to go back and stare at my dress and all of it's beautiful details. I truly can't recommend Mali and Alexandra's enough. Mali is every bride's perfect cheerleader and her priority is making you feel comfortable before, during, and after your dress shopping experience. My sisters have been to other boutiques before, and they said this by far was the best experience they have had. Thank you Mali! Looking forward to returning when my dress arrives! read more

****REQUEST PERRY**** I had my appointment today (March 6, 2022), for my wedding on December 11, 2022. I requested Perry because I heard from a friend that she was great. I'm very big on word of mouth from people you know. Perry DID NOT disappoint. She was absolutely amazing! I wasn't exactly 100% excited to go wedding dress shopping and put it off because I think of myself as plus size and heavier and because I have gigantic breast. From the moment we met Perry, she was so enthusiastic and charismatic and personable. She introduced herself and took an interest in who was in my group that came with me. She gave a detailed rundown of how the appointment was going to go. She asked if I had any thoughts of what I want and/or don't. I was very open to suggestions but I did have a good enough idea and showed photos. Then she asked about the budget. I was 97% firm on my budget. She did say that the style I was interested in could be $100-$200 more than my budget possibly but she would stay in my budget. She absolutely stayed in my budget. I did have in mind one dress that I saw on the website that I loved and hoped would be the one. I tried on two dresses before that because I was worried, but she encouraged me to try on the dress I loved from the photo because it could very well live up to my dream or it wouldn't and she said that if it didn't than it would give me time to find the perfect dress. (I ended up loving it even though it was SIZES to small and when I was still in the dressing room I knew it was the one but I felt uncomfortable showing everyone because it was to small and the back didn't close and Perry went out to everyone to explain that unfortunately it was a smaller size and we weren't able to close it but the bride loves this dress and wants to show everyone.) When expressing my concerns about my body image about my weight and breast to her, I can not tell you how genuine she was with her response to make me see my beauty and feel comfortable with myself and this process. She wanted me to be very honest with how I felt about the dresses she pulled but I didn't have a negative thing to say, she listened so well to what I described I liked and didn't. I can not express how comfortable I felt with her and how easy it was to just talk to her about my fiancé and life. She's absolutely wonderful and I will suggest people to her all the time!! read more

I "accidentally" ended up here while looking for their sister store, the sample boutique a couple blocks down. I am SO glad I did! Walking in feels like you are on "Say Yes to the Dress," beautiful and seasonal decorations everywhere, a cute waiting area, friendly staff and a buzzing atmosphere. During the pandemic, things are weird, but the staff was very helpful and made things feel as "normal" as they could. I worked with Mali and she was wonderful. She pulled dresses I knew I wanted to try and also some that I didn't even know I would like. This was my 5th (ish) appointment as I was struggling to make a decision, but Mali helped me finally pick a dress I am extremely excited to wear. She helped find the little accessories and linings to help me envision what the final product would look like. She was extremely friendly and kind with me and my family. On a weekend day, you will be sharing the salon with many other brides. If you are looking for an intimate experience, this may not be the place as it is a large store. It is beautiful and fun, but I can see how it could be overwhelming for some. A few things to note about the store Pros! 1. If you purchase your dress here, your bridesmaids get 25% off their dresses (and there are tons of them!), and mother of the bride/groom get 10% off! I think there may be other discounts too, maybe on accessories and/or dress preservation, but these are the big ones that stood out to me. 2. You get the cutest little swag bag when you say yes to the dress! There is a great little tote, a cute shirt, a little confetti popper and lip balm. I think that normally there is champagne involved, but the pandemic sucked the life out of that perk. Cons... 1. You can't take pictures unless you decide on a dress. Then you can take as many as you want of that dress. But if you want a photo album of all the dresses you tried on, that isn't going to happen. 2. You can't wander around and look through dresses. I understand why - it would be a mad house and would cause girls to become overwhelmed. There are just too many dresses (thousands?) and it would just be too chaotic. So if you are looking to wander around through dresses, try the sample store down the road, they are also great! (Shout out to Wendy!) read more

This review is a little overdue. I finally said yes to my dress about a month ago at Alexandra's and I couldn't be happier! I had tried on tons of dresses at 5 other places and I honestly thought I was never going to find the perfect dress for me. I'm super indecisive and I kept finding dresses that I loved "part of" but wished that I could combine it with another dress that I loved "part of". I was 99% sure I was going to be the bride that settled for a dress that I "kind of loved/really liked" but knew I would spend months analyzing and wondering if I made the right choice. I went to Alexandra's hoping I would find the perfect dress but assuming I wouldn't. Then I walked into Alexandra's! It was gorgeous inside. All the girls that worked there were so sweet. The fitting rooms and showing areas were huge so you didn't feel like you were on top of other people. My consultant Katie was the absolute BEST!!!! I told her all of the above, showed her a few pictures of previous dresses that I tried on, and described the "parts I loved/didn't love " of each one (basically felt like an indecisive bridezilla). She was so sweet and so attentive-- she made sure to write down/ keep in mind all of the things I envisioned in the perfect dress. Then off she went searching for me! She pulled 5 or 6 dresses and they all looked gorgeous, but one especially stuck out to me. She put me in that dress first and we went out to show my Mom and my sister. I LOVED it and so did they!!! My only hesitation was that we couldn't take pictures ...because I had thought I loved certain dresses in person at other stores, but then would see pictures and hate how it photographed on me. Katie could see how important this was to me and immediately offered to take pictures on her personal phone (so she could make sure to follow store policy & delete them). She showed me a few pictures and then the happy tears started flowing!!!! I was so shocked and so relieved that there was the perfect dress out there for me. I didn't even try on any of the other dresses she pulled. She found the perfect veil to match and then brought us champagne when I said yes to the dress!! Thank you SO much Katie!! I could not be happier with my experience so far at Alexandra's! read more

I visited Alexandra's on Sunday looking for a wedding dress. I'm getting married next year. I booked online and was surprised how quickly I was able to get an appointment. Leading up to the appointment my Consultant Jill Souza reached out to ask me some questions & for some ideas about what I was looking for! Truthfully, I had no idea. I was anxious and a little overwhelmed not knowing what to expect. When we arrived at Alexandra's I was greeted by a handful of women. All so polite. That's where it was introduced to Jill! The store is neat and organized. Clean. Great atmosphere. From there I was brought upstairs and sat with Jill for a bit answering questions and working on getting an idea of what it was I was looking for. I went it very open minded but still really nervous. Jill went "first round" to pull some gowns she felt might fit what I was looking for. Also to knock out some I wasn't sure of. She came back with 5 or so dresses! When we got into the room to change instantly Jill made me feel super comfortable. Dress one was a hit but it was missing something! On to dress two. Although not for me, it was still stunning. Dress three was fun.. but not for me. The whole time Jill answered my questions. Educated me on different fabrics and styles. Jill is very knowledgeable. Easy to interact with. Has a great personality and is patient. She made me feel the most comfortable. Then comes dress four.... There was just something about this dress... the moment I put it on... immediately I looked up at myself in the mirror, caught Jills eye and felt that "you'll know when you put it on" moment. I tried dress five on because it checked all the boxes I had originally thought of. Dress 4 just stuck with me. Through this entire process Jill was unbelievable. The entire staff was also. I had my 4 year old daughter with me and she was losing steam fast. The girls got her into a dress and kept her entertained long enough so I could SAY YES TO THE DRESS!! From beginning to end my experience was nothing short of awesome. Jill made a day with my sisters and mom and daughters memorable. An experience for myself. I 10/10 recommend Alexandra's. Ask for Jill Souza when booking! I promise you, you won't be disappointed! read more

I had an amazing bridal experience at Alexandra's! I requested an appointment and heard back from Fatima within a day and was able to schedule my consultation on the day that I desired. I was thrilled about this because it was a somewhat last minute request for the date I was looking for. Alexandra's was the first bridal shop I went to for my wedding dress and thanks to the amazing Christina, I found my dream dress at my first appointment. In fact, my dress was the first dress I tried on. Christina was so helpful and I truly cannot recommend her enough! When we first arrived, she made us all very comfortable and really listened to what styles I was interested in. She has a great eye and picked out some gorgeous dresses for me to try on based on the photos and styles I mentioned, all within the desired price range. Christina pulled probably 10-15 dresses at first, all of which were beautiful. She carefully explained each dress, told me about the styles, the designers, the fabrics, and a lot of other useful information. When it was time to try on dresses, Christina told me to choose what dress was calling out to me the most and to not think too much, just go with my heart. I was immediately drawn to a stunning dress she selected for me. When I put it on, I knew right away it was the one. When I went to show my group, they all loved it and tears were shed. Christina said it was going to be tough to beat, but still had me try on other dresses to be sure. She also went to pull a couple other dresses by the same designer because I was really drawn to that style, but that first dress kept beating them out. After I tried on some other dresses, I tried my first one back on and added a veil and it became real that this was my dress. She asked me if I was saying yes to the dress, and I did! I thought saying yes to the dress was going to be a difficult decision, but it was the second easiest "YES" I have ever said. I am so happy I was able to work with Christina. She was patient, fun, and really cared about my interests. She is a true professional and made my experience so special and one I will never forget! 5 stars for sure! I will recommend her to anyone I know in need of any special occasion dress! read more

When I started looking for wedding dresses I literally had no idea what I wanted. I browsed a bit on their website but being in grad school and full time work and a new house I hadn't had time to really go through what dresses I really wanted. Thankfully, I had such an amazing experience picking out my wedding dress at Alexandra's! I booked the VIP appointment and it was phenomenal! I needed it as I was walking in practically blind and they give you 3hrs to yourself with a single person to try on as many dresses as you want. They are so welcoming and there is champagne and the charcuterie board is delicious with plenty to go around. I worked with Sandra Johnson who was absolutely fabulous!! She worked with the limited wishlist I hastily made for her and brought in all types of dresses to make sure no stone went unturned. You could tell she really knew what she was talking about. When I tried on my dress I loved it but then I tried on another dress with another bust line and also loved the bust style but not the dress as much. I was so torn and she immediately saved the day telling me we could make my dress with that bust style and side sleeves that I loved in the other dress but keep the lace and other features of the dress I loved most. She even told me her schedule and said when my dress comes in to bring it in when she's working so she can make sure the head tailor knows exactly how to tailor it. The whole experience was fabulous! They also even gave me a free super cute Jean jacket after I purchased my dress and a bunch of coupons to get dresses for the rest of my wedding party. I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding dress to come here. You don't even need the VIP experience to feel valued and have someone work with you to find the perfect dress, it just definitely was worth it for me. There's also a good range of prices for dresses. I spent about 3,200 but that's because with the VIP room there's a $2,000 minimum. Although initially I had a lower budget and they were even willing to work with me on that. That includes a veil and other things as well though. But there were dresses for $1,600 too that were stunning, just not for me. Overall 10/10. read more

I went to Alexandras Bridal yesterday looking to start my dress shopping. This was my first time trying on a wedding dress and since my mom and sister happened to be visiting this weekend I decided we should start the process and go for a little to look at dresses. From the moment we sat down with Tonya I had told her we were just starting to look and that my goal for the day was to get an idea of the style of dress I wanted to continue to look for. I had zero intentions of saying yes to any dress that day. I was anxious going to the boutique. I was worried that none of the dresses would look good, that the personal stylist would try to sell and push a dress that wasn't actually flattering, that she'd only pull dresses at the top end of my budget, and that being a bigger girl I would feel totally uncomfortable during the whole process. The moment we sat down with Tonya she was kind, excited, and took notes on every detail of what I wanted for my dress. She pulled about 7 or 8 dresses to start. In the fitting room, she was completely honest in the most helpful way. She had pulled a dress she thought might be a good choice but once we put it on, she told me no right away, rather than trying to push me to like her choice! When it came down to a decision between two dresses, she gave me her honest opinion on which she loved best, and why!! I felt extremely comfortable the whole process. When I finally found a dress that I absolutely loved, I was worried about the price. I thought it would definitely be at the top end of my budget. Come to find out, it was $1,000 UNDER budget!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Tonya for helping me find the most perfect wedding dress. Thank you for being so kind throughout the whole process, being so patient and letting me try on the dress over and over to make sure I truly loved it, and making me feel comfortable and beautiful every step of the way. I truly felt like you were not my stylist but my friend I had brought to help for the day! Thank you for helping me say yes to the dress on a day I thought I was just beginning my search! read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Alexandra's with Christina G. I have to admit I was not really looking forward to wedding dress shopping. I am not a big shopper and was already a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what style dress I liked and wanted for our July destination wedding. Christina G contacted me a few days before my appointment asking for some more information about our wedding and any ideas or Pinterest pictures I had found. This will be my second marriage and didn't love the whole dress shopping experience the first time around. While I was skeptical of her optimism that we would find my dress that same day (especially since it was the first place I made an appointment at), Christina put me immediately at ease and eventually got me excited about finding the perfect dress. Even with Covid, where even normal things can feel weird, Alexandra's does a great job making this experience safe and comfortable. The set up is really cute and you get your own little private section to try on dresses with a pedestal, large mirror and couches for any one you bring with you (it was just my mom and I). Christina G was extremely patient with me and took my feedback from every dress I tried on and even put me in dresses I would never think to try. Other consultants would come by and listen to what I liked about a certain dress and what I didn't and would recommend other dresses and styles. After 2 hours and what seemed like a hundred dresses later, to my surprise I actually ended up finding my dress that same day!! However I wasn't quite ready to pull the trigger...I had already made an appointment to shop elsewhere. Christina was very understanding and I felt no pressure at all. But before I left I did make a follow up appointment for a few days later. I had a strong feeling that I would not find anything I liked better and would come back, try it on and immediately know for sure! And that is exactly what happened! Christina was genuinely excited for me and I really cannot say enough positive things about her and the whole experience at Alexandra's! read more

I had to write a review about Sandy - she was so great! Upon entering Alexandra's, it is VERY overwhelming. I have been there before for a friend so I knew what to expect. It's a large store that has so many dresses and there were many other brides-to-be there with their entourages. I was pleasantly surprised by how organized they were the second I walked in. They introduced me to Sandy and she offered us water and was very welcoming. My appointment was on the bridal level. You have your own fitting room, but other brides and families are close by. Honestly though, with the brides all coming in and out I didn't find any of that distracting at all. On my day the on-site manager introduced herself to me, as did a consultant for the trunk show that was going on. They really do try to make each and every bride feel important, which is nice. As with probably many other brides, I had one idea of the style of dress that I liked and thought I would end up getting. Sandy listened to what I thought I wanted initially, gave me dresses in that styles, and each time would remember the characteristics of each dress that I liked. For example, she'd have me try on thin straps then a thick strap to see what my preference was , all over lace vs. just lace on top, different necklines, sparkles no sparkles, etc. I'm so glad Alexandra's offers such a knowledgeable consultant (since I knew nothing!!). With Sandy's help in narrowing down my preferences and keeping my focus, she pulled the absolute perfect dress for me on my 10th or so try on. Sandy did a quick pivot for change of dress style when the initial silhouette I thought I wanted was not at all working for me and she incorporated all my preferences she already knew from narrowing everything down. I can't stop looking at pictures of myself in my beautiful dress! They do the "are you saying yes to this dress?" and give you champagne for you and your entourage. It was such a special moment and I couldn't be more grateful to Sandy for helping to create it for me! read more

I don't understand all the negative reviews. I was completely turned off by Alexandra's bridal because of such negativity. I didn't get my alterations here so I don't know what they're like with that. But everything else was incredible. I had a extremely difficult time trying to find a wedding dress. And just when i was exhausted and wanted to give up my mom suggested Alexandra's bridal. I told her I didn't want to because I read reviews on how bad they are but she forced me to go. It is a beautiful place. The employees give you their full attention bringing you to your own section with couches, mirror and dressing room. She sat me down and asked me what I liked in a dress. She told me she knew an exact dress of what I wanted. I said yah sure whatever everyone has said that. My mom and maid of honor went around to all the dresses and picked some out for me. I tried on a few that my mom and maid of honor picked out and one I liked. I picked the most gorgeous dress. I knew I would love it before I lifted it from my feet to zipper it. And it was the dress the employee grabbed for me!! They don't allow you to take pictures but who cares. When you find the dress you love you wouldn't need to be deciding through pictures anyways. You can take pictures and get champagne after you found your dress. Paying for it was simple and straight forward. No problems there. I went back to pick up my dress after it was in. I worked with another employee who went through several different veils for me to try on. The worker there are super sweet and give you plenty of attention. I told them about their reviews and why I didn't come sooner and I wish I did. Woulda saved me a lot of time wasted at other places who kept bringing me tulle when I said I hated it. This place is great and I promised I would review it so no one else would be afraid to come here like I was. I had a great experience. I'm also not a bridezilla so maybe that could be why I had a great time and no complaints. read more

I went to Alexandra's today to get my wedding dress! It was a little hectic to get there since there was a parade going on right in front of the boutique, but Fatima had sent me an email the day prior to my appointment giving me alternative directions to be able to get to their parking without any issues! It was a huge help! As soon as I walked in I was blow away by all the beautiful dresses. I am a bride that knows what she likes and why she wants but was stuck between two different style types of dresses. My consultant was Anthony (whom I had personally requested after reading people reviews and of actually seeing his instagram page, he seems like he and I would mesh really well). I am SO SO glad I requested him. He was immediately focused on me (I had been to a previous bridal salon that I actually said "yes" to a dress but ended up canceling because I realized I only did because I felt pressured too. And my bridal consultant made me feel like "just another number"). Anthony made me feel like I was the main priority, and always encouraged me to tell him what I was thinking, and told me what he thought worked or didn't work. I loved his honesty and enthusiasm. He is absolutely amazing and from the very 1st dress he hit the nail on the head with what I wanted. He took my budget, then told me if I gave him my "secondary budget" (more than I wanted to spend but still completely do able) that he knew he'd get me in my dream dress. It turns out he was absolutely right. I said yes to the most beautiful piece of clothing I had ever had on in my life. I cannot say enough good things about Alexandra's Bridal Boutique, their dress selection is awesome and there's definitely something for everyone there. But in my opinion the star of the show there (besides the dresses of course!) would absolutely have to be Anthony! I 100% recommend him! I can't wait to go back for my girls bridesmaids dress and for my fittings!!! read more

Made an appointment at Alexandra's bridal boutique thinking that I would just be "looking to see what I liked" as that was my first day shopping for a wedding dress. After spending some time earlier that day at another boutique, I left with a vision of what I had in mind. I worked with ANTHONY who is hands down the best consultant there is! The first dress that he picked for me was THE DRESS!! I gave him somewhat of what I thought I wanted and truly gave him the opportunity to find me something that would compliment my body type and style. I decided to try on a few others that were also completely stunning but I knew the search was over the moment I got into that first dress! The tears, the happiness and all the emotions that you could have imagined. So much for just "looking" the search is over and I am over the moon with excitement for the big day and to get back into that dress. I would recommend this boutique and Anthony a million times over. Thank you for your professionalism, expertise and great personality which made this experience absolutely amazing An update to my previous review! We just returned to Alexandra's for a mother-of-the bride appointment. Another absolutely wonderful experience. Our consultant, Corey was patient, determined and a great listener. After trying on multiple dresses, we narrowed down an idea of what we were looking for and then from there, Corey completely nailed the look! He helped us find the best and most complimenting dress for my mom. Thanks to the entire team at Alexandra's for helping make these memories with! After going through a major wedding crisis due to my mother's medical status, I couldn't rave more about the customer service at this boutique. Special thanks to Carol for all of her hard work/efforts and just overall her genuine compassion in helping pull off a miracle wedding in a time crunch. Amazing staff! read more

First, let me start off by saying this place is phenomenal. We traveled to Alexandra's from CT because my experience in finding a wedding dress was less than desirable beforehand. I'm a plus size girl and in CT, NOT ONE SHOP had plus sizes in store and most consultants went as far as telling me that I am limited due to my size (and honey, they do not know me because I wear wtf I want to!) So my mother and I were hopeful coming here and had a feeling we were going to find THE dress. We walked in and it was like a movie! All of the stylists were lined up on the left hand side and as you checked in you were greeted and brought to your section for trying on dresses. When we got to our section, our stylist Brianna sat us down and asked us a few questions before pulling dresses. She pulled four dresses first and I tried them all on. I felt that she really listened to my critiques of the styles and when she went to pull more, she came back with five more (and at this point I was thoroughly impressed because I tried on more dresses THAT ACTUALLY fit here than ever before!). It was the sixth dress that ended up being the one and I'm telling you, it was remarkable! I was even able to buy it right off the rack because it was a perfect fit! My mother and I cried lol Once we paid for the dress and were all set, we decided to go to Jovani to look at some Mother of the Bride dresses and once again, we were blown away! Dwayne, Corey and Diane were just PHENOMENAL!!! My mother tried on so many dresses we lost count, all of them being just breathtaking in their own way. We were able to narrow it down to three dresses that she is going to make a final decision on and purchase one of them in two week when we go back to pick up my gown. All in all, this was the best experience I could have dreamed of and I am just so grateful Alexandra's Boutique exist! :) read more

I am SO happy I chose to go to Alexandra's Boutique for my wedding dress. After many friends have had major success here, I decided to randomly book my first visit with Alyssa as she was among the few available on the date that myself and 7 other guests were able to go shopping. Before our appointment, Alyssa emailed a very personal questionnaire, inquiring about my preferred style of dresses, themes and any major "NO's" or "ABSOLUTE's". After several emails back and forth, with immediate responses from Alyssa (and she even offered to follow me on social media profiles like instagram/pinterest which I was super happy to let her see who I AM before meeting her in person. With this type of communication prior, I had full confidence heading to my appointment that "Today I might say YES to my dress!". Upon arrival we were greeted with open arms, Alyssa was on time, friendly and got the group excited for what we were about to do. Alyssa was well prepared, had several dresses ready for me to try on immediately. I am pretty self-conscious about my body type, but throughout the entire appointment, Alyssa made me feel very comfortable and continued to compliment me throughout the appointment and listened to my mom/guests opinions. After trying on 5 dresses, I loved the fifth but had a few more specific details I wanted and without hesitation Alyssa came back with one saying "I think you're going to love this...." and she wasn't wrong - this dress was STUNNING and fit all categories I wanted (including being within my price range!) After only trying on 6 dresses - I SAID YES to my dress and owe it all to Alyssa for helping me and making this experience quick, easy and fun. Alyssa is amazing and I guarantee you will also have the best time and WILL find your dress if you book with Alyssa. Can't thank her enough and would give 10 stars if I could! read more

I had the best experience shopping (and finding!) my wedding dress at Alexandra's Boutique. Nicolette Dacus was my stylist and she was incredible!! I was honestly not expecting to find My Dress the day I had my appointment. It was my first time shopping for a wedding dress and I had just gotten engaged a couple of months before. I made the appointment when I did so my mom and I could share the dress shopping experience together (she and my dad came to RI from GA for a visit and it was our only opportunity to share the experience). Alexandra's has an amazing selection, like pretty much any dress you could ever dream of, they have it! Their space is also incredibly beautiful. My party and I had a corner to ourselves with super comfy couches and gorgeous decorations. They even supply the fun signs for your group to indicate if they like, love, or dislike different dresses. Nicolette herself is so professional and listened to everything I said, all my likes and dislikes about different styles. She was patient and energetic and made the experience so much fun! Most of all, she has wonderful intuition and selected a dress that was very different from all the others I had tried on and the inspiration ideas I sent her ahead of time. This dress that was so different from what I thought I wanted ended up being the one for me. I knew as soon as I put it on that it was My Dress. It may be cliche to say, but I honestly cried when I saw myself in it. Nicolette picked that dress for me because she listened to the feedback I was giving her after each dress I tried on, and she knew the right questions to ask! I can't say enough positive things about Nicolette or the whole experience at Alexandra's Boutique. If you are shopping for a wedding dress, you need to go to Alexandra's and book your appointment with Nicolette - you will be so happy that you did!! read more
