Came here for my daughter's First Communion dress, very slow service they take other people ahead of you. The lady told us to wait outside and she would help us soon. We saw people walking in and they were being helped while we waited outside. We did find a nice dress for my daughter but again the service was slow, had my daughter try on the dress and the lady never came back and she asked if the dress needed alterations because she didn't see her with the dress. I said no just because we didn't want to wait another 20 minutes until she helped someone else. If you don't mind waiting in between other people are helped, they do have nice stuff. read more

A friend and I were in desperate need of alterations. We saw the sign in the window of Alexis and brought about 12 pairs of trousers that needed to be hemmed. The charming owner Margarita greeted us and showed us to the changing rooms. The rooms are large and clean. She was able to get all the measurements done in about 10 minutes. Because I had so many, she offered me a card and stamped it so I earned a free alteration! The cost of the work is very reasonable. Our trousers were all altered in about 6 days! But, when the sales lady (Margarita)helped us, she got a different dress and she instructed my daughter to get into the dressing room and to get naked, she was in the room with her with out even asking if that was ok!!(she said she was going to be facing the wall ) my daughter refused to get undressed to try on the dress and the sales lady said to go and order a dress on line instead She didn't even ask me (the mother) to be in the room or even to ask us if that was ok... I give Alexis Occasions 5 stars, and a thumb up. They are amazing!! My daughter won Homecoming Senior Princess and only had one week to shop for dresses. Now, keep in mind my daughter is a 00. It is extremely hard to find good fitting dresses for her. The week of homecoming, my daughter and I walked into the bridal store. I immediately informed the owner, we were on a time crunch and needed the smallest available size in evening gowns. She said "not to worry"and pulled out the most beautiful gowns. My daughter was able to pick two beautiful gowns. Due to my daughter being Pettit, they didn't have her size . But...... that was ok. They altered the gowns perfectly and had them ready with in 3 days. Now, that's customer service. I recommend this store to everyone. We will be back for prom. read more

If you are reading this, steer away from doing business here. After coming here for my quinceañera dress, and prom dresses without any issues, I decided to come here again for alterations for my wedding dress, and to rent my parties suits. I understand we came roughly 3 months before the date of my wedding, however we were upfront with them about the wedding date, and we were assured multiple times they would have everything in time. I put deposits down for the suit rentals being assured that they'd be able to get them in time despite switching to a new company or whatever, and that they'd call us to confirm in a few days about that. Myself and my mom called multiple times to be told "call back later", "I will call you back", "we're still waiting on a response but we have a meeting with them on (date), we'll get back to you". RED FLAG!!! We were tired of getting the runaround on this, so we decided to go in person to ask about any updates, and to get my dad and brother fitted for suits. It was busy because of prom season, but we waited 15-20 minutes, no problem. Margarita approached us and bluntly told us "I think it would be best for you to go somewhere else, the company hasn't gotten back to us". No apology, nothing. This is something that could have been told to us WEEKS before!! If you were a professional business you would think to have the courtesy to NOT say multiple times "yes, we'll have them in time". I asked for my deposits back on the suit rentals, and was only refunded for one of them, I was told "come back another day". I also asked for copies of the mens measurements since we had to go elsewhere after all this crap happened, and conveniently enough they were GONE from our wedding file. How convenient. Upon return to pick up my dress, they were there, but I got told by the husband "I can't give you the copies because it'll be a liability for me" I highly recommend that you DO NOT do business here for ANYTHING. Bought my wedding dress from this place. Even though my dress was the style that I wanted the service and the process of me getting my dress was horrible. I was told my dress would be cut shorter and instead, they gave me a puffier crinolina which did not help with me stepping on my dress. They did a horrible sewing alteration when adding an additional panel to the back of my dress. The day of my wedding when I was getting into my dress the seam snapped and my mom had to fix it. The customer service is horrible. The ladies that work there judge you on your weight and say the rudest things. They have no patience for you once you buy an item. This was the 2nd time I have went here for alterations. I will never go back again. My daughter's graduation dress was ruined by cutting it to short and not how we asked. The wait was long to be attended to and the charge was expensive. The manger was rude and loud, saying "oh my God", even after I told her we didn't want our money back and we were not able to use the dress anymore.
