I send them pictures of the damaged rail and made a "reservation" to bring it in the following week to be worked on right away so as to have as brief a down downtime as possible. Ed at Tri Valley was great - I brought it in on a Tuesday and was able to pick it up on Thursday beautifully repaired for what I felt was a very reasonable price considering the work that had to be done and the excellent job they did.
