When they came, they went above and beyond to pinpoint the exact location it's coming from by going on the roof with a hose and opening up light fixtures from the living room to take pictures inside. They were able to find the exact spot and seal it as well as replacing all the rotten wood we had around the chimney. Finally no more pots and pans for us! We are very grateful for the hard work and the dedication that they put into solving our issue. The pricing was very fair as well. He created a WhatsApp chat with me and the incredible designer Jocelyn. They were both consistently responsive to any of my questions or concerns -- and opened my mind to design options. Jocelyn spent time in our home, drafted plans, took me shopping, and sourced all the fixtures. From her spreadsheet I was able to find less expensive options for some items. I appreciated the input and control I had on these expenses. Since we needed to move out, I had a tight timeline for the project -- mid October until Thanksgiving. Marc and the team did their best despite City of San Jose delays with inspections. We were able to move back in before the final inspection. Every member of the team was kind and courteous. Marc also did a great job working with the window vendor that specializes in older homes. I'm rating the experience a 4.5 out of 5 for two reasons. I was disappointed that the medicine cabinet, switch plates, and hooks were initially installed unevenly (it was corrected). I expected more attention to detail. And I was disappointed in the wear & tear that happened on my wood floors as well as the overall dust in my dining room. I was warned that things would get dusty -- but didn't understand the extent and would have packed away more things. WISE offers lots of support with design -- they could also offer as part of their package a full cleaning! I offer this feedback to help others calibrate their expectations. Overall it was a positive experience. I waited several months to post this review until I returned from travel and could see how things were settling after regular use. I'm loving the new bathroom and recommend WISE.

It has been more than six months, with many calls and text messages, but the issue still has not been fixed. Another example is damage to our garage cabinet, where a hole was created during the work. We are still waiting for this to be repaired as well. Overall, the lack of timely resolution and poor communication after the project has been extremely frustrating.

Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

He'd worked with one of our friends previously, and so we knew he'd do a great job for our project. We also loved Greenberg's integrated approach. The architect, constructions, design and management was all done by Greenberg. This meant that the project from top to bottom was aligned with the team actually doing the construction work. My top priorities were 1) a modern home design 2) a job done with high quality 3) low stress. Ohad / Greenberg helped deliver on all of these aspects in spades. The last thing I wanted to do was have to coordinate with flaky contractors, have to re-do low quality work after a long day at work. Ohad kept the project on track and handled all the hassle of dealing with subcontractors & inspectors. Greenberg probably won't be the cheapest contractor you'll talk to, but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for. Quality work, up to code, and no drama is well worth the cost. They handled the entire San Mateo permitting process. Once construction began, Ohad and I stayed in constant contact via text and phone to address any issues or decisions that needed to be made. I had a situation a couple of days ago that caused me to feel extremely unsafe in my home. I needed to have 2 new deadbolt locks replaced immediately. I called Chris, and explained what was going on. He told me to take pictures of the deadbolts and that he would go to Home Depot to purchase new locks and be at my house asap. A few minutes later Chris called and said he would be there shortly, and that I may not need new locks, because he remembered he has a key kit that might allow him to recalibrate my locks. Within minutes of Chris's arrival, he recalibrated my front door! He then did the same for another door. He then proceeded to check the remaining locks that didn't need to be replaced, but he wanted to make sure they were functioning properly and that I would be ok. I immediately felt save in my home and it was because Chris went over and above to help me. I was frazzled when he arrived, but after he recalibrated the first lock, my anxiety was gone. I'm so grateful I found Chris who not only provides a quality product no matter what the job, but is also someone who truly cares about his customers well being. He proved that to me.

Omar came out and told us what we were already told from the water proofers, that the sliding doors needed to come out to determine if pans were installed. The flashing under the doors and floor of the balcony also looked suspicious. He gave us a good price to remove the doors, install new pans, reinstall the doors, and replace the flashing and railing. His staff are truly artists and pretty tough as they worked through the grueling July heat and kept right on schedule. Considerable work went into resealing the sliding glass doors and greatly dropped the temperatures of the two rooms facing west from some pretty brutal sun, making these rooms comfortable for the whole day when they were basically not useable in the late afternoon. The new railing is gorgeous. They also do indoor room restorations, and I would not hesitate to call them should we need one done. Wonderful company!

We picked Rhomel because he was direct, honest and familiar with the area . He didn't even enter our house to give us a quote. He knew what we needed to update and was honest about what could and could not be done. Rhomel was responsive ( we would text him late into the evenings some days), patient and efficient. He provided some great suggestions and was honest when his opinions which is appreciated. His crew was friendly, clean and very helpful. They respected our property and it was as clean as it could be for a remodel .

My husband had made a big mistake when he tried to assemble the desk and damaged it badly. Eric understood the situation immediately. He was friendly and kind, and even funny, saying he would get my husband out of the hot water. And, man, did he do that and so beautifully!! He had one of his employees, Minh Tran, come the very next day, which was yesterday as I write this, and he was fabulous, as Eric told me he would be. Minh is everything you would ever want in assembling and repairing a damaged new desk. He was not only kind, friendly and smart, he was extremely competent and knowledgeable about what was needed (which was a LOT), but he was also a real perfectionist, earnest about doing the best job he could. He even provided an extra bracket to strengthen a section that, ideally, the seller should have included in the purchase. I would choose them again in a heartbeat!
