Alex's has great food and great service. I called in a large order for 30 breakfast tacos; they were ready in 30minutes!

Waitresses are amazing here, very attentive and always ready with the coffee to top me off. My only problem was the tacos came out about as fast as I ordered them and I could definitely taste that they've been cooked for some time because they had that gas station taco flavor. The other Mexican restaurants in the area are cook to order and cost less. I think if they cooked to order they can justify the inflated price compared to their neighboring restaurants. read more

Great place that we found during one of the softball tournament breaks over mothers day weekend. About 5 min from the 4-plex fields. Our gps took us to the OLD location so we parked there and walked next door to the newer building. Its a beige stand alone restaurant. They have a to go window for tacos and things Then you can go around to the front and get seated in the restaurant. It was sunday at mothers day. We waited for 5min the. Got seated for 2. The place was packed! Probably around 25-30tables in there. Quick to take our order then we waited for maybe 25min for our food. Very clean restaurant. Friendly folks working the front. Free chips and salsa (red and green) provided on the table. YUM. The red was our fav for chips, verde for the food. I got the chicken fajitas plate My daughter got side of beans, rice, avocado and fresh flour tortillas. Fajitas were very flavorful, juicy, veggies crisp and seasoned well. Reminds us of fajitas we used to get in Southern Cali. Next time we are in Seguin we'd definitely be back and hopefully we will get to try the tres leches. They were OUT today. read more

I didn't know it was possible to make a taco this damn bad! I have been brushing my teeth and using mouthwash for the past half hour. I can't get the horrible taste out of my mouth. I ever made coffee this late in the day to get that disgusting taste out of my mouth. I hate this place now. read more

The carne asada tacos R pretty darn good. Used the drive thru so far and if no one is at the window there will be in 20seconds tops. Always greeted with a smile, food came out fast,tasty and oven hot. Matter of fact I'm going to have them tonight ( if thay open). Don't have to worry about Taco Bell diarrhea . Went to the old building at first didn't even notice the huge new building next door. Lol. walk up Togo area.. quick attentive servers with sitting inside. Simple restaurant but good tacos. Little greasy but good tortillas good portion. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth a try. read more

My dad received a gift certificate here from the radio station the buck 103.5, and I was all for it! I've been coming here for awhile and love everything about this place! I had the chorizo and eggs, my dad had the sausage and egg, and a barbacoa. It was all very yummy! The tacos are $3 and they are pretty big. You will get full from one. The services is good and never have to wait too long. Overall, my experiences are always good and every time I visit Kerrville, I must stop here to get my taco fix! read more

The food here is inexpensive and good. Cheaper and better than your normal inexpensive Mexican restaurant. They have moved out of the old building into a new, much nicer building. Service was great and people are nice. Seems to be family run, and was quite busy. When we were there, my brother and I were the only gringos in the restaurant. I had 2 breakfast tacos, he had a small plate and a breakfast taco. We had 4 diet cokes between us, and with a more than 20% tip the bill was $20. Can't beat the quality of food for the price. We came in got seated at a table in the corner by the kitchen that an employee was sitting at and eating and we're asked to share it with her so they could avoid having to use other tables? Barbacoa & asada tacos are ok they need a little bit of more seasoning but maybe for the town we're in I guess there ok but I had better taco oh and by the way don't get alpastor tacos they are not good, Oh and one more thing the salsa's don't have flavor and they are not spicy at all. read more

New restaurant has bad echo inside. A baby crying was extra extra loud. We could not hear our server it was that loud with only a few people inside. Amazing breakfast tacos, real tortillas, perfectly cooked papas, delicious refried beans, the best chilaquiles rojas I've ever had in my life. Basically every plate we ordered was like the best version of that meal we've ever had at a restaurant. We called ahead to see if they had room for a table of 8 and they reserved it for us. I visited this Taco business back in September and had some amazing tacos. I stopped by while visiting friends in New Braunfels. They really specialize in breakfast tacos and wow were they delicious (still thinking about them months later). Descent tacos. Good service. It's a little hole in the wall kinda place but food is good and it's not as packed as other places on Saturday. And they have a pick up window for call in orders right next the parking lot. Makes it easy to get and go. Menudo was out before noon on Saturday. read more

The tacos were very good! The tortillas were excellent! We got a couple of the chorizo and egg tacos. I make my own chorizo, so I am always wary when I get chorizo somewhere. While I would prefer a little more spice, it was very good! No gristle and not a lot of grease. The hot sauce was excellent and added that spicy bite. The tortillas were thick, soft, and so yummy. This place is the best hidden gem in all of the area, they have the best breakfast tacos I've ever had and nobody knows this place is even around. This is where the locals go for the best authentic Mexican tacos you'll find. You would never notice this place when you first drive up, you'll almost miss it. There is a restaurant with a small little walk up window at the back and you'll usually see several people standing around waiting for the best breakfast tacos in existence. It's cash only and old school, the food tastes like it was made by someone's Grandmother who had perfected the art of the perfect breakfast taco. The prices are way below average and they should charge more for the portions you receive, each and every taco I've ever purchased from here was made with love and you can taste it in every bite. They sometimes make homemade tamales too if you pay attention to the small bulletin board near the window, but usually just one day only and it limited batches. This place is worth driving to Seguin for and you will not regret it, the customer service is a happy and smiling face every time and the kitchen is very clean.
