Their parking lot was absolutely full Sunday morning, but inside a fourth of the tables were available. So don't be intimidated by a crowded parking lot. The totopos (tortilla chips) were among the best in Seguin, and the red sauce was good too. The tortillas are made on site, but that didn't give them the boost I had hoped for. We had chalupas with beef that were good, and the enchilada was too. The rice was on the mushy side. Service was over the top, with three servers alternating in asking if we needed something or checking on the quality. We shall refturn. read more

We took a drive out to Seguin for the day and decided to try this Mexican diner. They have a very clean and inviting interior and the staff was polite and friendly. The food was good and definitely had more of a Tex-Mex flair than traditional Mexican food. I tried the Las 3 Hermanas Enchiladas. I was a little disappointed that the chile con queso over the enchiladas was a little bland, like a basic nacho sauce. It really didn't help set it apart or elevate the enchiladas. Me and my boyfriend and I decided to eat inside this restaurant, and wow, it was pretty big, spacious and the workers were so friendly. We were served really quickly, they came up to our table often. The food was cooked fast, we didn't wait at all! Everything was so tasty, and I loved it. I will say a downer was that my pancakes weren't the best. They were flat, and the flavor was odd. It left a taste in my mouth afterward. But other than that, everything was so good! read more

Palms has consistently excellent food. The pork chop plate with beans & rice is a favorite. You get two juicy & flavorful chops, beans & rice & some guac, *chefs kiss*. But you really can't go wrong ordering anything from tacos to enchiladas. But do yourself a favor & get a large order of salsa & chips! Yummy!!! I ordered online. They charged more than i agreed to pay online which would Not have been a problem if the food was good. They used cheap ingredients the food was worse than TVDinner food. Passing through Seguin we tried this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! Wonderful waitress and very accommodating. Large ice teas and large portions of food. 100 percent Tex-Mex and if you're not used to that you will not like it. The enchiladas have melted Velveeta and the sauce was similar to that of a Frozen TV dinner. I'm from Colorado and so that's not typical, it's not even typical in North Carolina but it's the only thing I found so far in texas. The wait was long. Went to this new restaurant last Saturday for a late breakfast and was so happy to find out that breakfast is served all day, every day! I had the huevos rancheros and it was delicious. My husband had the pork chop breakfast and loved it. We enjoyed the food and service so much that we went back for lunch on Sunday. This is my new favorite place for tortilla soup! My wife and I ate brunch here for the first time. She ordered the "Super Taco " with beef fajitas and I ordered the "Chorizos con Huevos" plate. The super taco was HUGE (my wife had to cut it in half to take home) and delicious!!! My chorizo con huevos plate was absolutely delicious!! I have eaten Mexican food my entire life (to include In Mexico) and although I love the taste of chorizo, it usually gets very greasy, which I end up regretting giving in to temptation. Came in for breakfast with the family after church. We were a party of 20 and reservations had been made. The tables were set up & ready for us. The service was stellar and the food was brought out in a couple of waves. My Palms breakfast was delicious and the pancakes were very large. The hot sauce was a bit on the bland side for my personal taste but that's nothing to be concerned with. My wife, me and our two boys were out the door for under$35 and that's with a tip! Average Tex-mex food. The flour tortillas are homemade but they are bland for my taste. The portion size is decent and prices are a little on the high side for me. I had bacon and egg tacos which taste normal nothing out of this world. Their bean and cheese taco was good too but it seem they use fake cheddar cheese. Dinner was good, and menu selections were much the same as the many other restaurants in our area. I ordered a standard - enchilada, taco, tamale, etc. plate - the standout was the tamale and I could probably make a meal from just those.
