The WOW Factor
We…read moremet with several landscape companies over the course of about 4 months (most of which we found on Yelp). Either they never got back to us, wanted to sell us a big, expensive "plan," or had never heard of our neighborhood, blah blah blah. For this reason, I kept branching out beyond our area on various sites until I found myself searching in Athens. That's how we found Patrick and City Garden Company. We could tell right away he knew what we wanted, knew how to construct it, and had great ideas. He listened to our vision, which was fairly simple--a large, gravel patio, stepping stones, and sod. He came up with the idea of using dry-stacked stone as the border, and we couldn't be happier. I asked him if it would fall over eventually, and he said "not if I build it." I believe it, too--it's classy, sturdy, and coordinates with our stepping stones and the stone on the front of our house. He and his team were very precise, and measured everything out so that it's even, with nice clean lines. A very professional job. We really do love it, and stand in the window and stare at it because our yard is transformed. We are thrilled we found this company! They actually follow up, call you back, answer your emails, etc., which is kind of a rarity in the home improvement businesses, I'm afraid. I can't wait to recommend them to friends.
