Yes, Yes, Yes and YES! I wish my 5 star review could be a 10 star review. I contacted 5 other lawn care providers. They either didn't show up and/or didn't follow up. Wilson, from Alfaro Lawn Care not only followed up promptly, he showed up when he said he would, gave the estimate onsite, scheduled the appointment and he (and his employees) showed up EXACTLY when he said they would. His crew were polite and they worked efficiently. We had 10 new plants planted and our yard received a fantastic trimming. They cleaned up well and all, for what I believe was a great price. It is difficult to show the difference in plantings, yet I have placed them below. They also made sure that every plant in our drip system was receiving water and also reset our drip system timer. I had this service for over a year and found them to be very hands off when it comes to maintenance. I lost a century plant because they did not let me know it was infested with a boring beetle and they let the young tree shoots thrive at the base of my young trees. I know those young shoots take away from the growth and they did nothing until I asked them to. If you just need someone to mow, blow, and go, they would be adequate. They are not going to take care of your plants, trees, or grass unless you ask them to and then it may be weeks before you're requests are fulfilled. Very disappointed because they are veteran friendly but the service is not up to par in my opinion. They are average and do not respond timely to requests. read more

I had this service for a couple years or so. They were generally reliable, but that isn't quite good enough when you need to lock your dogs in the house all day. Sometimes they wouldn't show up so I'd text and Wilson would say they'd be there tomorrow. So the dogs get locked up for another full day. Now realize, I didn't keep the dogs in the house because they're mean, it was because the landscapers would sometimes leave the side gate open and the dogs could run away. Other issues were blowing rock all over the turf, not addressing shoots from trees, leaving big weeds rather than pulling them, leaving my cactus laying on the ground after the wind blew them over, and making my Texas sage look like a drunk blind man trimmed it. At the end, Wilson tried to correct the mistakes, but you can't go back and shut a gate after a dog is gone. He also wasn't able to meet with me when I was available. I said "you can come by, but it can't be tomorrow and it has to be after 4pm". He says "ok, I'll be there tomorrow at 4". I said again "I can't be here tomorrow. Friday will work". He says "ok, I'll be there Friday between 7:30 and 8am". At that point I gave up. I think Wilson is a good guy but has a lot of guys working and can't keep his eyes on all of them. read more

Really is a 0 star, not 1 star!. Every week they come and trim my neighbors thorn bushes and oleanders. The neighbors yard is elevated about 7 ft above my back yard. They let a lot of the trimmings fall into my back yard. Each time I ask them to pick them up and most of the time they say they will come over and get them but only 1 time they come over. Since then they just don't show up and today (8/7/2018) they told me they have appointments that they need to get to and don't have time. Now they will have to make some time to answer to code enforcement, the better business bureau, and some reviews. read more

Came did our rental house backyard and his guys did a good job and he supervised. 6 Months later we bought a house and we hired him and he gave us a free estimate. He didn't come with the guys nor did he communicate what we had asked for.
