Never gave me the opportunity to inform him that I would happily have amended my review in a positive way to indicate his cooperation. Instead, I dinged him one more star because he was very crass. Again people - - Customer Service!] My husband ordered flowers online because he was out of town on business and it was our 22nd anniversary. Those flowers cost $213.78. (My husband does not normally do that, but he did.) The flowers were pretty but NOT $200 worth of pretty. But as I was a wedding planner for some 22 years, I know how to care for cut flowers to keep them alive! However, these lasted exactly 3 days. It was demoralizing, considering their cost. I tried over a span of several days to call the florist and could not get a body on the phone -- nor did they have VM. Finally did get someone on the line a week to the day after their delivery. The lady assured me that I would have brand-new flowers the following Monday afternoon, as this was a Friday afternoon. Monday came, and I called mid-afternoon to see if I could get a more specific delivery time, and she said they would be here by 5 PM. It is now Tuesday morning, and we've received no flowers nor contact of any kind. Customer service has NEVER been more important than it is these days. We will request a refund this morning from the florist. If they don't cooperate, our credit card company will certainly comply. These people seem nice over the phone, but I guess they were just too busy yesterday -- during the busy floral-business time that is the last week of August. Because her excuse for the flowers' short life was that we ordered them on a Friday. When he actually placed the order on Wednesday. (And why would Friday versus Wednesday matter anyway?) As I said before, customer service is so important. I will spend more at another place versus spending less at a place that doesn't care, and in this case, $200 worth of flowers should have pretty much served me breakfast in bed with a smile. Especially in Killeen, Texas.
