Would give this place a solid 4.5. If the meat was a little more tender it would definitely be a 5+ star restaurant. Beans and rice were very good and the flavor of the tacos were amazing. We had chicken, steak and pastor. The elote was very good as well just wish they used mayo and put a little more fixing in the corn - it is kinda just corn at the bottom!! Overall a wonder experience and we will definitely be back! Service was very good and love that they had a drive thru! read more

We always pass this place going down 287 and say we need to try it. Finally got off the freeway and gave it a go. It's a pull up and order type of place. They have a window with the menu and you place your order to go, easy and fast. Everyone was really nice and attentive. We ordered a breakfast burrito with eggs, beans, potatoes, and chorizo. You choose your meat, we decided to stay on the breakfast side since we hadn't really ate. We also ordered 4 tacos de barbacoa. Come with an appetite because the portions are very generous! The burrito was huge, hand held, and loaded with filling. The tacos were also loaded with meat. They gave us red salsa and green salsa, both were delicious and spicy. The green is little more spicy than the red. Very tasty. We will definitely be making our way back to try more menu items. Highly recommend especially if you're in the go, just pull up and order! delicious food! ordered through the drive thru, waited about ten minutes in the parking lot with a buzzer that was given to me. when it buzzed, i picked up the food at the front window and took it home. the elote was spectacular with just the right balance of ingredients. the kid's steak quesadilla meal was the perfect portion for me and came with rice and beans on the side. i thought the rice was just a little dry but the beans were bussin topped with melty cheese. the steak quesadilla blew me away and their salsa verde made it the perfect combo. the caramel churro was a great dessert to end the meal. staff was kind and efficient. read more

My wife and I have made it a habit to come here at least once a week. The food is great! I've had their tortas, burritos, quesadillas, and churros--and their horchata is also very good. First time trying this little hole in the wall and we will be back! Hubby had the shrimp tacos and he liked it. The shrimp was cooked just right and they are not skimpy with their portions. This place was an absolute find! Breakfast is all day, but this taco plate was amazing! The green sauce was hot and delicious! The onion and cilantro were fresh and yummy toppings! Giant, massive burritos!! Stopped here for a snack to go. Easy to find place right on 287. Plenty of parking. The only flaw is it was quite a wait considering there wasn't really many people there. Maybe 20 min wait for two tacos and a barbacoa burrito The food was hot and delicious, though. Will definitely return when I'm in the area. I've come to this spot a couple of times , However I'm going to try and make this review solely around my first tryout, for that was the best experience. All 3 times that I've ordered, 2 out of the 3 were door-dash delivery orders. Due to my last delivery via door dash and I wasn't pleased at all . I chose to go and pick up my Togo order myself , That way I could inspect and address and correct anything that wasn't correct . First time ordering : I ordered the carne Asada steak torta (basically the ingredients of a burrito or taco made into a sub like sandwich). My torta included carne asada steak, lettuce, queso, tomato, mayo, avocado and pickled jalapeños .. I added Onion and cilantro to mines and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING . It came with green and red hot sauce, the red was my favorite. Second time ordering: I placed the EXACT SAME Thing to be delivered via door-dash like the first time. After leaning how good the red sauce was , I ordered a medium sized container on the side. Unfortunately, The restaurant ran out of tortas ( the bread) and they took it upon themselves to change my order to something else instead of canceling or allowing me to edit my order To something else . So instead I received a burrito in place of the torta which would have been fine if they would have just put into my burrito the same exact ingredients that I selected for my torta. They took it upon themselves to add rice and beans ,??? YUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKK!!! My burrito was over stuffed which many wouldn't usually complain about , only it was so stuff that they couldn't ever wrap it . I picked it up and the entire burrito fail apart .. when I tell I was livid !! $25 order that went straight to the trash . So this last time I decide to place the Togo at the establishment and inspect before I left !! It validated my First encounter. And it was AMAZING AGAIN !! I will continue to eat at this restaurant. But now know it's in my best interest to pick up my order myself instead of letting a 3rd Party like door dash , Uber eats etc pick up , who can't inspect the food for you . read more

I went here to try it because of the reviews. It's a drive-through and it's kind of difficult to get to it because there's a lot of traffic. But the drive-through you place your order and the person gives you one of those buzzers like in a restaurant and then when your order is ready, they buzz you. The food : this is a limited review because I only want tacos. Ordered two tacos with flour tortillas. I told person taking orders that I didn't or couldn't do anything spicy. He seemed pretty helpful and asking me questions about stuff. My reminder buzzed, and I picked up my order, this is what they look like. There is no lettuce or tomato on there. I did ask for fajita meat and sour cream he said. He threw in three containers of guacamole sauce that was hotter than the pavement outside , very spicy. The tacos themselves or flavorful, but the meat was really tough. There were several times when I had that spit out whatever it was because there were so much gristle on it. I did ask for onions and they were a bit strong. Make sure you ask for napkins they didn't throw any in the bag, so I had to scrounge around forsomething to wipe my face. For the price, don't think they're worth it. I'm not sure how they got all the grapefruit maybe people like spicy food that is hard to chew. read more

Delicious tacos and great outdoor seating area. Wish the seating area was a little bigger but very quaint anyway....Elotes was good, I'm not a huge fan of that stuff but it was tasty. This is a road trip stop surprise. Drive thru and get one of these cheap but delicious tacos then sit at their clean and beautiful patio with adorable aloe and succulent landscaping. Let's talk about salsa for a minute. I want some kick to my salsa and I am constantly disappointed by the colaguating tomato paste served at most places...this taco stop ain't that. It has just enough kick to add to the flavor but not overtake the cilantro or marinated carne asada. It's good good, yall. The elote was not what I expected but still really good. First time here, and it's honestly a hidden gem. Tacos are amazing and well seasoned. The green sauce has a creamy texture with great spicy taste. The flour tortillas are honestly hand made, no false advertisement there. The tortas are huge and amazing. Definitely a must go. There are seatings out side, no inside seatings. I have mixed feelings about this restaurant because I've tried it multiple times trying to figure out what I like best on the menu. I like the concept. The food looks really good and I think they're using quality ingredients. But the hot sauce legitimately has a kick to it that leaves me and my fiance in the bathroom for the rest of the night if we try eating it on our tacos. The same with the seasoning on the elotes. I eat more Tex-Mex than most people would admit to and this place I just won't be repeating. I LOVE Fuel City tacos and have never had quite the gastronomical response this place gives me, lol. When you first pull up it's kind of confusing because it doesn't look like your typical taco spot. It has a pull up window and a simple menu on the side of wall. You place your order and pull to the side. What happens next is the best Mexican food I've had in yearsssss! It was soooo good! Everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection. Another great place by AJ and friends. Only had a short time, it was cold outside, and they closed at 8pm ... but dropped by about 7:45pm last Saturday and enjoyed the chicken, beef, and shrimp tacos. The onions/cilantro mix is perfect. Didn't realize they had rice and beans too. Will try those and the other two taco varieties next time. Looking forward to both the pork and the brisket. Hoping the brisket is served with a side of the juice, like they do at Mia's. Especially can't wait for the breakfast tacos to be on the menu. If they serve these all day I will be by all too often. I gotta comment in the patio... while very nice and it will be appreciated 90-120 days of the year, I sure wish they would drop a roof over it and throw up some crank up windows on it. Also took a look at the kitchen through the open door and such. Very nice equipment and well organized. These guys should do well. We finally tried this place out after driving past it almost daily, and I was not disappointed the burritos are huge the tacos are stuffed and the elotes are really good! We did have to wait 20 mins but it was well worth it! They have drive thru and outside seating but I love that they have drive thru! I ordered a barbacoa burrito and tacos but my burrito was wrong it was carne asada but I was not disappointed it was still good! My husband loved the tacos there was a lot of barbacoa. Horrible... My husband and I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was literally a burrito filled with refried bean and a hint of potato. It should have had egg in it and literally there were zero eggs. I also added sausage but there was none. I was basically eating a refried bean burrito for 8 dollars which I could've easily bought a tortilla and can of refried beans from the grocery store and made it for way cheaper LOL. Never going back. Don't waste your money. I also called for a refund but couldn't get one unless I came back today with it which I couldn't make it. read more
