I found Guerrero's a few months ago by accident. I pulled into their parking lot and went to Yelp. After reading a few reviews and looking at the photos of their tacos, I decided to grab lunch for myself and hubby. The place stays pretty busy with to go orders and families dining in. Hubby wanted a variety of tacos so I grabbed a Fajita, Barbacoa, Fish and Carnita with beans and rice. I love cheese so I wanted to try their nachos and of course sample the tacos. :) The tacos were very good. I ate a few bites and the meat is seasoned well. The rice and beans are what you would expect from a taqueria. The nachos were good but not enough cheese for me but for the average, it should be plenty. The nachos come with the usual fixings but I decided to order without veggies. The salsa is also very good. I came back for a second visit about a month later and the tacos weren't as good as the first visit. The tacos were dry and unseasoned. I couldn't finish the tacos so I threw threw them away. The tacos are affordable and the service is great. The food is inconsistent so be prepared to have amazing food or not so amazing. I am open to trying their food again in the future but not anytime soon. read more

I came for breakfast on a weekday as I was driving to another taco spot and noticed this place. It was next to a gas station and looked authentic so I popped in and got s few breakfast tacos ($1.5 each). I got the chorizo, the sausage, and the bacon. All were excellent except for the bacon. It was too bland and the bacon was not crispy at all. The service was outstanding. For a $6 breakfast, the woman at the cash register checked on me multiple times and was very friendly. They have delicious salsa if you dine in, and they give you a whole "pour yourself" container which is nice. Good spot if you are ever this far south in Dallas! read more

Food is good but the ladies are kinda rude. They don't give you extra salsas. And the two that they give you aren't even filled up. There's more air in the container than sauce. And some reason they always give me my to-go food all thrown around. Everytime I order they don't give you your total, they don't repeat your order, and there's no estimates wait time. The huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo y el PUERCO with salsa verde all remind me of how mi Mama cooked. Always worth the drive. The owners and staff are always friendly and quick to serve and ensure you have your coffee cup filled with fresh hot coffee. My wife and I always walk out happy with our meal and a joyful time talking with Panchita, staff and cooks. Feel very much home.
