I called the restaurant to let them know about the error and inquire about the menu, so I could place an order. The man who picked up the phone literally laughed at me and said "I don't do online" and handed it off to someone else. The woman he handed to did not have a much better attitude. I shared the website menu issues and even took the time to send her the screenshots. I asked her if she could help me with a menu / offerings so I could place an order, and she said they were closing down. I reminded her that it's 7:23 PM and they don't close until 10:00 PM (per Yelp) or 8:00 PM (per Google). Her response was only that I could order whatever they have left, if I wanted to - verbatim. I wanted to ensure that I wasn't reading into it, and even said, "It doesn't sound like you want me to order", and she just said that it's up to me how I want to take it. =( The interaction was quite disappointing and far from welcoming, so regrettably, I will not be dining here and will check out other Caribbean restaurants in the area, like Teddy's and the Angry Jerk.

Not being aware that Sepsis in 2019 had contributed to declining physical and emotional health, I was finally diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in late 2025. The decision was made to move to Assisted Living. What I did not know was that the Executive Director, Jonathan Fetsko, and my brother made the decision that a minimal amount of my personal effects would be moved to the new apartment because what I had in the original would be overwhelming! Hair brushes, hand vacuums, etc.... The list goes on! I feel like I am being held hostage by the vagaries of the individuals involved. Hitler was the last century. An Addendum: I thought I had reached an understanding with Fetsko that I would be able to give a friend of mine the remainder of my personal belongings that would not be allowed in Assisted Living only to find there was no guarantee that they would still be there!!!!! I'm still waiting for Housekeeping to clean my apartment, wash my laundry, etc. which was due yesterday.

This Korean-owned small deli is located on the first floor of the 11720 building - it seems as if the loyal customer base includes the employees of the building as well as those who live in the area. Unfortunately, Korean dishes are no longer on the menu, but you can call ahead and make a reservation for a pickup for a special request, such as bibimbop, bulgogi, fried rice, etc. I think it's incredibly generous and thoughtful that the owner would take the time to customize and make special Korean dishes for her customers! The menu offers cold and hot sandwiches, as well as breakfast options. Since we had already eaten lunch earlier, we tried their Steak & Cheese - this was lovingly prepared, filled generously with steak, fried onions, mayo, and provolone cheese - simple, delicious, and tasty! I'd love to try the rest of their hot and cold sandwich menu and hope to be able to try some of the Korean dishes as well on the next visit. The assisted living facility was dreadful. He did not have dementia but the nurses treated him like he did. And they would not help him to the bathroom at night. They told him to use his Depends and ignored his pull chain. He got up by himself, fell and broke his hip and died within a month. It's not continuing care if the assisted living is no good.
