I would never recommend Alfredo Collision to anyone. I brought my vehicle to this shop after a collision that affected the rear passenger-side wheel. The repair required replacing certain parts related to the suspension and wheel area. Unfortunately, my experience with this place was extremely frustrating from beginning to end. From the start, the woman working there who identifies herself as the Accounting Manager was rude, unprofessional, and very unhelpful. She behaved as if she owned the business, yet showed very little competence or willingness to resolve issues. I even asked to speak with the owner, Alfredo, and was given incorrect information about who the owner actually was. The biggest problem is that my vehicle was returned to me in worse condition than before the repair. After picking it up, the car started making loud noises that it never had before. This makes me seriously question the quality of the work performed. It also explains why they never wanted to provide any warranty for their labor. In addition, the shop kept my vehicle longer than expected and still attempted to charge $50 per day in late fees, which I find completely unreasonable considering the delays and the condition in which my car was returned. At this point, I plan to have my vehicle independently inspected to verify the quality of the work performed. If the inspection confirms my concerns, I will take the appropriate legal action. It is very disappointing to see a business treat customers this way. I honestly believe the owner may not be aware of how poorly this place is being managed and how much damage this type of behavior is doing to the reputation of the shop. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this place look elsewhere for repairs. read more

I called Alfredo's Shop after reading the raving reviews on Yelp and was very pleased to find that they provide consistent exceptional service! Long story short, I managed to bump my coworker's parked car, and after suffering the initial embarrassment, began to receive quotes from various body shops around Austin and Round Rock. The initial quote at a collision center was insane! The quote was around ~$2,400 with the price heavily influenced by the cost of a new bumper, headlamp, and fender brackets. My coworker being an angel to work with, was open to receiving other opinions and that's how I found Alfredo's. Not only did Alfredo's Shop (I spoke to Pedro) pick up right away when I called, but they provided me with a quote in minutes after I texted them the picture of the damage that was a THIRD of the collision center quote. Needless to say we drove down that afternoon! At the shop, Alfredo and Pedro looked at the damage and very clearly explained the work they were going to do, how they were going to fix it (no new parts would be necessary), and even docked $50 off the original quote they had given me over the phone. The turn around was extremely quick, and a day and a half later my coworker's car was ready for pickup. Both my coworker and I were extremely impressed!! The bumper had been completely mended, the paint was matched perfectly, and they even buffed out the rest of car along with a complimentary wash! We both joked that after Alfredo's work my coworker should sell the car for a higher price than he would have gotten before because it looked so good! I really appreciated Alfredo's humble manner and his commitment to doing great work. If you're like me and you didn't want to make an insurance claim for some unlucky body damage, take your ride to Alberto and get a quote. I grazed a large crate on the highway that left several inches of a creased dent with paint damage. Other shops quoted $1200+ and a week, Alberto did it for $600 and 2 days. And this was not a spot repair; they completely repainted both affected panels like you're supposed. Can't recommend them highly enough. DO NOT GO HERE! NO VAYAS AQUI! I spent $9,000 dollars here to fix the bumper of my car and after one month the rear panel became unlatched and started flapping in the wind. Additionally, the right sensor was not placed correctly and became dislodged. I cannot use the parking feature in my car and now every time I go into reverse I hear a loud noise alerting me that it is broken. I went to the trailer office to politely ask for these two issues to be fixed and the receptionist initially told me that I was in a wreck due to "scuff marks". She additionally stated " we do not do any warranty on parts, only paint service". So basically they do not offer any warranty since this is the loophole they gave us. When asked to speak directly to Alfredo the receptionist said "I cannot guarantee he even calls you". However their website says: "We generally offer a lifetime warranty on our work. In other words, if you are not involved in another accident, we can guarantee that the paintings and parts that we install will have the guarantee and support from our warehouse and that of our suppliers. The only damages you will see are damage caused over time and typical deterioration." I have never experienced the kindness, confidence and calm sense of urgency anywhere else that I experienced at Alfredo's shop. I called asking if they could quick pop a dent out for me, and the manager, Pedro, replied yes they could, but was hard to give an estimate over the phone, of course. He had me text him photos of the dent and explained to me what else needed to be done to repair it like new. He took time to explain clearly and effectively, but didn't talk down to me. I could tell he knew his work well, and took pride in it. I brought my car in and needed it finished in a tight timeframe since I was traveling the next day. Pedro sent me photo updates a couple of times to reassure me that it would be taken care of, and he said we would speak again in the morning to let me know the progress. At 10 am the next day, he sent me pictures of the completed work and told me it was ready for pick up more than 4 hours early than I expected! When I went to pick it up, I met the owner, Alfredo, and he was also so warm and a pleasure to do business with. These men are putting their absolute all into providing an amazing service with honesty, integrity and compassion, and I would bring more work to them in a heartbeat! I was recently looking for an auto body shop to fix a 3" long scratch on my drivers side fender (This was down to the metal and could not be buffed out). Being an out of pocket expense I shopped around and got a few quotes. The quote I got from Alfredo's was very reasonable. Everyone that works here is very courteous, friendly, and professional, from the nice young ladies who work at the front desk, to the owner, Alfredo. I had questions going into the repair and Alfredo answered them and assured me that everything would be like new. The repair only took three days and I am very happy with the fender repair. Many shops would do a simple sand and respray, but Alfredo's Shop took the time to blend and match the paint, the texture matches the existing paint on my vehicle. The fender was wet sanded and has a very nice finish. Also, the work is warranted, if anything goes wrong with the paint I have that piece of mind. This is an independently owned shop and the owner takes pride in his work. I am happy to take my business to him over a large chain franchise where you are just a number. Alfredos repaired a deep, complex dent in my SUV rear hatch. They completed the job in a few days and the hatch looks as good as new - much better than I expected, based on the price they quoted me. Two other body shops told me they would have to replace the hatch with a new or recycled one, but Alfredos removed the dent and repainted the existing hatch for far less cost than the other shops' estimates.
