The repair required replacing certain parts related to the suspension and wheel area. Unfortunately, my experience with this place was extremely frustrating from beginning to end. From the start, the woman working there who identifies herself as the Accounting Manager was rude, unprofessional, and very unhelpful. She behaved as if she owned the business, yet showed very little competence or willingness to resolve issues. I even asked to speak with the owner, Alfredo, and was given incorrect information about who the owner actually was. The biggest problem is that my vehicle was returned to me in worse condition than before the repair. After picking it up, the car started making loud noises that it never had before. This makes me seriously question the quality of the work performed. It also explains why they never wanted to provide any warranty for their labor. In addition, the shop kept my vehicle longer than expected and still attempted to charge $50 per day in late fees, which I find completely unreasonable considering the delays and the condition in which my car was returned. At this point, I plan to have my vehicle independently inspected to verify the quality of the work performed. If the inspection confirms my concerns, I will take the appropriate legal action. It is very disappointing to see a business treat customers this way. I honestly believe the owner may not be aware of how poorly this place is being managed and how much damage this type of behavior is doing to the reputation of the shop. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this place look elsewhere for repairs.

Their first and second offers were far lower than ABW's estimate, and I was a wreck about proceeding with a repair without them agreeing to the correct figure in advance. I felt very hopeless and was sure I was going to get screwed over somehow. Not only did ABW flawlessly fix my car, they handled everything with the other insurance company behind the scenes and I walked out the door without lifting a finger. I was shocked and deeply grateful. They made what I was turning into a very stressful situation easy. As I was leaving I told them I hope I never see them again, but truly I am so grateful I know what to do now if I ever have a problem in the future. I was not planning on leaving a review but I changed my mind. I brought my vehicle here for repairs…read morein January after a hit and run. My car had a large dent in the front driver side fender. After I picked my vehicle up and left the repair shop, I noticed that the door edge guard on the drivers door was completely different than the rest of the door guards and had been placed about 6 inches too high. I also noticed 2 areas that had damage that was not there prior to me dropping the car off. One of the vertical panels next to the drivers door window was significantly chipped with the top layer peeling away. There is also the same chipping on the horizontal panel below the rear driver side window, see photos. Once I brought this to their attention, the door guards were all replaced as well as the vertical panel on the drivers door window. The day before bringing my vehicle in for these repairs, I sent an email addressing the chip on the back driver side door panel. Since I live on the opposite side of town, I wanted to ensure that part was going to be replaced too before bringing my car all the way over there again. I never received a response to my email, so I called and was asked to go ahead and bring the car in so they could see it. But while I was there waiting for the other repairs to be completed, there was no mention of the part I had asked about in my email. I didn't say anything and I just left after the door guards and vertical drivers door window panel were fixed. While the chip is small, it was not there when I dropped the car off and its damage that was not there prior to the car being left with the shop. It's hot in Texas, and eventually that chipping will start getting worse in the heat, and I will be the one that has to replace that part. I also do not appreciate the way that my email was ignored and just swept under the rug. Those are the facts. I hate to leave a negative review, but there's still damage on my car that was done while my car was at this shop. It's damage that I'll eventually have to get repaired myself, whether it's 6 months from now, or 5 years from now. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this business.

I despise writing a poor review for a locally-owned business, but after months of being led-on and ignored, I am writing this in hopes of saving someone else's precious time. My husband was in a car wreck in October 2025. The person who rear-ended him has terrible insurance, so we decided to file a claim through our insurance, Allstate. Capital City Collision provided us a quote that our insurance did not agree with. An Allstate negotiator went back and forth with the shop. Part of the issue was my husband's truck had after-market parts that were damaged. Our Allstate negotiator, Elizabeth, called us to confirm that she was able to get funds approved by her manager and they reached an agreement on pricing with the shop. A check for $2,207.66 was sent to the shop to start ordering parts. According to Allstate, the shop cashed the check on January 20th. It is now March 19th and the shop still has yet to reach out. I have tried calling the shop multiple times in the last two months. Each time I call, they answer and hang-up immediately. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they are busy. I tried calling the shop today, and again, same situation: answer, then hang up. I thought to myself, "hmm... maybe they really are ignoring our calls?" So I waited 15 minutes and called back with a blocked number. What do you know... Catherine decided to pick up and answer this time! She kept me on hold for 9 minutes before taking me off hold and hanging up on me immediately. I called back, and a man answered. He transferred me up to Catherine, who kept me on hold for 4 minutes this time and hung up immediately. While I was on hold the second time, I received a text message saying they wouldn't do business with us. They ignored my text, asking when they planned on returning the check they cashed for $2,207.66. My husband and I have been trying to get his truck fixed since October 2025. It is now March 2026. I understand that our insurance was being difficult to work with... we were annoyed by Allstate, too! That being said, Capital City Collision could have rejected our business months ago, instead of stringing us along. Rather than sending this text message 5 months ago when this all started, they chose to dodge our calls and waste our time. Unprofessional does not even begin to describe their behavior. They were avoidant, deceptive, thieving, and rude.

They did a great job and were honestly more helpful than my insurance company. Everyone thought for sure I'd be paying $2k for the work I needed, but it came in under $900 which includes my deductible. It was all repaired in less than one day. When I took my car by them to get the damage appraised, they informed me that it would take week for one of the main parts to be sent to them. They actually bolted my broken bumper back on to hold it in place so I didn't have to use a strap to tie it down. I thought that was really kind of them. Bonus: They have Willie the dog.

From the very beginning, they treated me like a person instead of just another insurance claim or dumb girl walking into a car shop. One thing that immediately stood out was that they actually asked me, "How perfect do you want this to look?" That might sound like a small question, but it wasn't. They took the time to explain my options instead of automatically pushing the most expensive repair possible, which I really appreciated. I have a 2015 and so it doesn't need to look fresh off the lot. Their estimate also came in **significantly** lower than another shop I visited, but at no point did it feel like they were cutting corners. The repair quality was excellent, and my Mazda looks fantastic again. What really earned this review, though, was the top notch customer service. When they noticed my Mazda emblem had cracked, they replaced it for me. During the conversation I jokingly mentioned making it pink... and they actually custom did it. It's such a fun little personal touch that makes me smile every time I walk up to my car. Most body shops fix your vehicle and send you on your way. Nova managed to fix my car and make the experience pain free and memorable. Nobody wants to spend $$$ on body work, but if you have to, it's nice knowing you're working with people who are honest, communicate well, and genuinely care about their customers. Hopefully I won't need another body shop anytime soon... but if I do, Nova will absolutely be my first call.

Roberto showed up this morning exactly when promised... on Memorial Day... and worked for seven straight hours. Near the end, one of the car batteries drained because the doors had been open for hours during detailing. The detailing itself was top shelf - more than five stars - but what really stayed with me was Roberto's attitude: always a big, reassuring smile on his face, coupled with hard work, professionalism and the kindness of a righteous human being. The price however should be adjusted accordingly depending if the vehicle is too dirty or not. In my case the car is kept in the garage 90% of the time and has a full cover on it all the time and it never gets dirty so $95 for a clean car that essentially just needed a quick wash seems a bit overpriced. But I definitely recommend them as you won't regret the results! I would do business in the future!

It was easy to make the appointment to have the Jeep towed in and they got back to me by the end of the day with the diagnostic. My brake line had blown out and they were going to replace it. The next day they called to tell me there were no brake lines available for my Jeep anywhere with MOPAR, or any other manufacturer. People in my situation are all waiting months for these things on back order. Most shops would have probably told me to come tow this Jeep out of their way until a brake line was available. Not Juke! They thought outside the box and let me know a hydraulic shop they work with could build the part for me, and it would only be $80 more! Perfect! Even though they had to run around town with these brake lines, and rely on another shop to hunt down parts and fabricate custom brake lines for me, they had my Jeep back to me after just 6 business days! The other great thing is Miguel kept me updated the whole time and I never had to worry about if my vehicle was being taken care of. The people at Juke actually care about their customers and I recommend them to everyone I know.

My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.

I spoke to her Monday and Tuesday this week to re-confirm address, pricing and details of what was to be tinted. Lo and behold she waits until one hour before her team is supposed to show up at my house today to tell me oh by the way she made a mistake and it's going to be $600 for me instead of $500. She is blaming it on the fact she didnt know our home was so far. She had opportunities to punch our address is on Friday, again on Monday and again on Tuesday but she claims she never did until one hour before arrival and now I've wasted 2-3 days of time when I could have gotten this job done elsewhere Monday morning or Friday afternoon last week. Horrible business practices this place has and I will never recommend anyone to them.

This is a lengthy review, so buckle up (ha...ha)…read more I initially sought out Autocraft because I needed to get some rear-end damage repaired on my Tesla (i.e. trunk replacement). They were booked out pretty far, but long story short, they ended up being able to move up my appointment (drop off) date a bit earlier than initially anticipated, which was great. The downside of this was that I was spending some time in San Angelo, TX (which was a couple hours' drive from this location, so that was kind of a pain. However, I got scheduled, and dropped the car off with Autocraft, and they hooked me up with a shuttle over to the Enterprise to pick up my rental. Cool. Everything is going smoothly so far. A note about the drop-off: Christian was the one doing the intake for the car, and he marked all the areas that they intended to remove/replace with a black grease pencil (which I have photos of, and will be attached to this review). Moving on... Over the next few weeks, there were some dealings back and forth between myself, Autocraft, and my insurance company, which was mostly just trying to get everything settled between the estimate, accepting the estimate, and getting the monies where it needed to be. BREAK--- Goodness, it's been 3 years and I completely forgot that I never finished this review... Hopefully I can pick up where I left off, if not, I'll sum it up. The general overview is: Autocraft overcharged my insurance (not my business, I guess), then did generally kind of sloppy work (which took forever), then tried to trick me with incorrect tint (first of all, they actually didn't even re-tint my small back windows after replacing them, and didn't tell me even though they knew I would have to make a two hour drive down there - trying to pull a fast one, so I had to fuss about that and make them get those windows re-tinted, which resulted in further delays and a total waste of time by me even having to make the drive there and back for nothing. Then, then ended up charging my insurance the $1k deductible AND ALSO taking payment from me, so in essence, collecting an EXTRA $1k, until I happened to catch on and had to fuss about that issue to be corrected as well. Then they played around and acted like they didn't have a way to return the funds (after taking their time trying to "figure out" what the discrepancy was), to finally cut me a check. On top of all of this, when I FINALLY went to pick up the car when it was allegedly ACTUALLY ready this time, the tint was still not correct (I had ceramic UV tint, they just got the same tint rating, but the cheap regular tint), there were some chips on my back glass (they acted like they had no idea what this was from - of course blaming it on the fact that they were already there before they started the work), the truck had a bit of misalignment - although it worked fine, it was a little off (and still is to this day). THEN, the finale, to add insult on top of all of the rest of the ~4-6 weeks that this took, when I picked the car up, by the time I got there (remember, two hour drive), it was late in the evening, and they were closing... They managed to poke a hole in my driver's side seat (I know EXACTLY what this was from - Christian specifically, but probably more of their staff, walk around with grease pencils in their back pockets, tip UP), and when I pointed this out, Christian blamed it on my husband (who got in the car for 30 seconds to move it and was wearing SOFT sweatpants with NO pockets on the back or any type of grommet or anything else. So that turned into another argument, and they finally agreed to replace the seat (still issues with this to this day as well), which resulted in... you guessed it... ANOTHER WASTED TRIP. I finally got my car back and just took it and left it alone because I was SO TIRED of dealing with these people and their shenanigans, it was RIDICULOUS! DO. NOT. RECOMMEND!!!!! I cannot express this enough!!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIRS! If I could give ZERO stars, I WOULD!

Unfortunately, our experience with this repair shop was extremely frustrating from start to finish…read more We brought our vehicle in for body repairs after it was backed into in a parking lot. Shortly afterward, the A/C stopped working, so we specifically asked whether they could repair the A/C at the same time as the body work. We were told that would not be a problem. When we picked up the vehicle, the A/C was still not working properly. We were then told, "It needs a compressor. We don't handle compressors." If the shop does not handle compressor repairs, we should have been told that upfront instead of being told they could repair the A/C. We were also charged approximately $900 for the A/C work, yet we still had to take the vehicle to another shop to actually have the A/C repaired. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of the issues. While the paint was drying, a bird was apparently allowed to defecate on the hood, leaving a noticeable shit mark in the paint. We were told to bring the vehicle back in a few weeks so they could correct it. Then, just one week after picking up the vehicle, the bumper began falling off. We had to take the vehicle back yet again, leaving us without a car for another three days. My husband was unable to work during that time, which caused additional inconvenience and lost income. For the amount of money we spent, we expected the repairs to be completed correctly and the vehicle to be returned in proper condition. Instead, we dealt with multiple issues, additional trips back to the shop, more time without our vehicle, and additional repair costs elsewhere. Please do your research before accepting a repair shop assigned by your insurance company. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place and getting a second opinion if you're sent here.
