She never hurries me or makes me feel like she doesn't want to see me. I like the fact that all tests are run in the building, so there is no running all over town for blood work, X Rays and such. Online booking, even for new patients, and the forms are available to download and fill out ahead of time (score!). They also send you text message reminders before your appointment, and make it easy to reschedule- day for instance if you came down with the flu over the weekend and had to last-minute reschedule an early-Monday appointment. I really appreciated the easy and flexibility with the whole process. The offices are located off Washington, with lots of parking behind the building. I came early in the morning, and since there's a restaurant nearby the parking might be more difficult later on, but 9am it was wide open. a quick walk to the entrance and I was promptly greeted, checked in, and they took my crumpled up paperwork I had previously filled out and thrown in my purse. They have coffee and water in the waiting room, which is great, but I only sat there for a moment before I was called into the back. My appointment was with Dr. Megan, and she was friendly and efficient - two things i appreciate in my medical team. She completed my skin check in less time than I anticipated, made a recommendation to watch one suspect mole for 6-12 months but she was flexible when I asked to just remove it today, since I'd met my insurance deductible and I'd be 80% more expensive in 6 months. Hah! American medical care is quirky, but she helped make it work for me. The whole visit from arriving to leaving was about 30 minutes, including the one mole removal. They called me with the good news that it wasn't cancerous the very next day (whew!), so I wasn't left wondering for long, either. My mucus switched back from green to clear in no time. I can sleep again. I'm grateful to Dr. Manuel. On my first visit, he spent much more time with me than any other doctor ever has. He got a clear picture of my family's medical history, from which we discussed my possible risks. He followed up with an emailed order for blood work, and which we had also discussed during the visit. He displayed a genuine concern for my overall well-being. I look forward to him being my physician for years and years to come.
