So therefore I scheduled an appointment first off let me say I've never been to a dentist office where they have more than 1 doctor. Staff pretty much sucked no personality barley like to talk besides a few. I paid oop due to the fact my insurance didn't cover.. if we fast forward to the time I had the root canal in about April I went back a month later because I was still having pain, come to find out the lady that treated me no longer worked there ... hmm that's weird.. so the next person gave me antibiotics because he said it could be infected... went back a week later and still in pain they didn't take any new X-rays or re check the root canal he basically told me to go to a oral surgeon and get an Apicoectomy there might be something " they can't see " never provided me with 1 I was stuck finding one myself and come to find out they had a oral surgeon that worked at that office. Never called me once again to ask how I was doing or again checked the tooth again.... From that month until about September I've been suffering with pain from their poorly root canal job which they left a nerve still alive and they would've known if they would've re opened the tooth.. I don't get back money nor time ... but they did call me to see if I wanted to come back in for my yearly cleaning... my insurance is currently requesting Information from them and they won't respond.. needless to say pls save your time/money and not go here if I could give negative or no stars definitely.

Unfortunately, I have spent many hours in a dental chair, but Dr. Barrera is the best one yet! The office is beyond sterile, but at the same time, welcoming. She always takes the time to discuss every detail with you and never promotes unnecessary procedures. She educates and strongly encourages preventative care. I have never been kept waiting for an appointment and Dr. Barrera totally cares for all your needs herself! I'm writing this review, not only because my family is thrilled with Dr. Barrera, but because I only found this treasure through a Yelp review!

After a car accident in 1990, I had pain in my jaw that would present with horrific headaches, grinding and clenching. For more than two decades, I had seen several specialists, maxillo-facial surgeons, TMJ ,neck and back physical therapists, acupuncturist, chiropractors, and was prescribed oral appliances, drugs and pain relievers. No one looked for what was causing my pain. I had facial spasms, pain through my head, neck and back and would wake feeling as though I had been run over and in a tremendous deal of pain. Just a few years ago, my clenching caused one of my molars to crack and I needed my first (and thank goodness only) root canal. Dr. Barrera was intrigued by my case, performed a second opinion and quickly saw some of my problems. I had high fillings and an improper bite otherwise known as Occlusal Disease. She adjusted my oral appliance (orthotic) and more than two decades of near agony quickly diminished in less than one month! If you've only gotten temporary relief from TMJ pain, consider seeking Dr. Barrera's care, she could just find your ANSWER just like she did me. Why I couldn't have gone to her years ago is the only reason for kicking myself. Dr. Barrera is kind, caring and passionate about dentistry and medicine. All told, Dr. Monica Barrera is absolutely INCREDIBLE!

However, I needed to go to an oral surgeon to do so. I was desperate, a lot of places did not have availability until March/April of next year. I called Dr. Simpson's office on December 5th and the soonest I could get was January 19th. I happily took it. They even offered to put me on an "ASAP" list in case there are any cancellations. Lo and behold, I get a call December 8th saying there was a cancellation for Monday, December 11th. I took it immediately. My appointment was at 1:45. After I filled out my paper work, they had in me in the chair by 2:08. Dr. Simpson and his staff made me feel SO comforted. Like many others, I get anxious about dentistry. Dr. Simpson has a very kind demeanor. He was thorough with his consultation and made it feel personal, not just an in and out situation. He even offered me the option of getting the extraction done on the spot!! They did not make me feel guilty or shamed for the state of my teeth. They didn't rush me to make brash choices. They thoroughly explained everything to me. They even gave me something to squeeze and hold as the procedure occurred. I was out by 3:30pm. They gave me extra gauze and paper work. I was at the pharmacy and Dr. Simpson did a follow up call! Seeing how I was feeling and if I had any concerns. I am very happy with the service I received and I cannot praise the staff enough! I'll always recommend them. And the cost? $182 vs $3,000. Thank you, Dr. Simpson. You really saved me.

‼AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS ‼…read more IGNORE the 4.7 star rating this surgeon has on google. I genuinely do not know how he has received this rating. I will be warning EVERYONE to STAY FAR AWAY from this place. I saw Dr. Brian Simpson due to excruciating wisdom tooth pain that was keeping me up at night for over a week. If I was not so desperate and tired I would have walked out of the office mid-procedure. First of all, I waited an hour after my appointment time before being seen at all. For whatever reason, during the consultation, Dr. Simpson spoke to me extremely condescendingly, as though I was a child. While I understand he wanted to clearly explain the procedure and risks to me, it got genuinely offensive. When it came time to discuss anesthesia options, I indicated I was not comfortable with general anesthesia and would stick with local. This seemed to really upset him as he immediately kicked me out of the room and I proceeded to wait another 1.5 hours before being brought back in. I assume he was upset that my decision meant my insurance would not pay $2,000 extra for the general anesthesia. During the entirety of the procedure, I felt genuinely violated and disrespected. Dr. Simpson was unnecessarily rough and forceful, and I could tell he was upset with the way he was angrily huffing in my face. It felt like psychological torture. He was even rude to his own assistants, and it was obvious he was rushing the surgery. He cracked my tooth in 6 places and got even angrier and more frustrated. Not a single time did him nor any of his assistants check on me or say anything to me throughout the entire procedure. I jumped up and gasped in pain at one point and no one said anything at all to me and pretended nothing occurred. In fact, one of them in particular was extremely rude to me even after. I was in such shock I could barely respond. I was supposed to have my 3 other wisdom teeth done here. Dr. Simpson can rest assured I will NOT be returning to his office for any work. I will do my best to make sure everyone I know goes to a different surgeon.
