Years went by and then they started bothering me on and off. After a routine cleaning from my dentist, one of my wisdom teeth really bothered me and I was referred to Dr. Attia's team. I called and they were able to schedule me on the same day for a consultation (Tuesday). The staff are very friendly and professional. Everyone at the office had a smile and were patient. X-ray was done on site and a smooth, quick process. I thought I might have needed the extraction that same day but Dr. Attia did a thorough assessment and reassured me that it could be done later. I was scheduled 2 days later for the extraction. I needed all 4 removed so I was sedated. Dr Attia and his team provided clear instructions, including a print out, of how to prepare for the procedure and what to expect afterwards, including driving and home care instructions. They answered all my questions clearly and were available by text/phone, providing helpful reminders. The sedation and extractions went smoothly, all done within an hour, without any issues. They provided a very detailed and helpful handout on what to expect hours and days after the procedure, and how to mitigate pain, swelling, bleeding, etc. I had a follow up one week after my appointment when Dr. Attia checked that things were healing well and he shared some details about my procedure and how wisdom teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Attia and his team! Thank you for helping me take care of this long overdue dental surgery that I was putting off! I did have anesthesia which left a gnarly bruise on my hand (thats bc my veins weren't cooperating) but I would do it all over again with him as my surgeon if I had to. Let me just tell you that my surgery was 3 days ago and I've not had ANY pain or swelling that I know of. No discomfort, nothing! The antibiotics still make me a little tired but I stopped using the pain meds 24 hours after my surgery bc they were no longer needed. His staff was so kind and informative. Dr. Attia is the man you want handling ANY extractions you need taken care of. This man knows his job well! According to the front desk it is not their responsibility to check if the insurance patients have will cover them for any procedure. They run based on assumption that your insurance will cover the visit. I have Aetna and the front desk informed that I am covered without double checking if everything will be okay. Be cautious you dont want to have a surprise bill at the end of your procedure. The staff will give you a false sense of security.

He kept saying "I'm very honest, not trying to be rude..." which I never felt at all - tell people what they need to know, not what they want to hear. Dr Hom was professional, informative and fun to work with. He made sure to answer all my questions beforehand, provided alternatives to medications I was not interested in taking, and explained the purpose of every activity that he completed in the course of pre-op, post-op. The procedure itself was 100% painless and my cheek/jaw barely swelled afterwards. Only thing that bothered me were the sound of the tools - the drill rings right by your ear, so I wish I brought ear plugs. Despite being out of network, the bill was reasonable. Not sure how much it would have costed if I had chosen someone that was within, but I reckon not much different. I plan to remove my other wisdom teeth here in the near future.
