Dr. Jain stands out for being both highly knowledgeable and genuinely thoughtful. I had a number of questions about more advanced dental procedures I was considering at the time, and she took the time to walk through my options in a way that felt thorough, honest, and never rushed. That level of attentiveness made it much easier to make informed decisions about my care. Michelle, the hygienist, was also excellent. She was consistently gentle, detail-oriented, and made cleanings feel comfortable rather than stressful. You can tell she really cares about both the quality of her work and the patient experience. What left the strongest impression overall was how patient-focused the entire practice felt. From clear communication to a supportive, welcoming environment, it never felt transactional- they genuinely care about doing what's best for you long-term. It's also clear they handle a wide range of care, from routine cleanings to more advanced procedures, which makes them a great option for individuals or families looking for continuity in one place. The only downside for me was the location- it's over an hour away now from where I live - but if I were closer, I would absolutely still be going there. read more

I have SEVIER anxiety with the dentist. And the Dr. was so sweet. Calm and kind. My root canal was done in 30 min. I didn't feel any pain. The whole staff was so nice. Finding a dentist can be a tedious task. You want to make sure whoever will be all up in your mouth knows what they're doing and will do it with the utmost care. Well let me tell you that Mt. Diablo Family Dentists is the one you want. For starters the office is very welcoming and atmosphere is very kick back. It's nice that there's a big window with sunlight coming into the exam room. When you're getting your teeth worked on it's nice to see the outdoors rather than an enclosed area. Dr. Jain is amazing! She has very gentle hands when it comes to working on your teeth. She makes sure that you are comfortable and will explain her steps along the way of the procedure. When I was getting my deep cleaning and fillings done, she was very detailed in what she was doing and that alone is comforting and reassuring. I'm very happy having Dr. Jain as my Dentist. Dr. Jain's staff are great as well. Michelle, Leanne, Veronica, and Angela are all great (I hope I spelled everyone's name right). Michelle is very nice and makes sure my teeth are super clean and does a great job. Leanne is nice to talk to. Veronica and Angela are very friendly and welcoming when you walk in to get checked in. Veronica is very knowledgeable with insurance coverage. I always get lost when it comes to understanding insurance, co-pays and what not. Our experienced with Dr. jain was a horrible one ...scheduling 4-5 patients at the same time between 3- 4.30p.m On February 15, 2024 ( only limited hours Dr. Naina Jain spend time at her practice) cramping too many patients for extra revenues regardless what 's the patients well being, allowing new trainees to assist with Root canal procedures without any supervisions . Dr. Jain only spent 6-10 hour per week at her practice....rest of time someone else or different unknown dentist performing works at her practice. We are a family of three visited Dr. Naina Jain since May 2023, procedure including filling, root canals and crowns, very unorganized, lack of communications with patients, .....we regret for such bad experience with Dr. Jain. who;'s see $$ and profit come first before caring for patients well being. read more

I'm always very picky when it comes to finding a new Primary Dentist. Let's be honest a majority of them out there are like mechanic shops is how I compare it. Charge you obscene prices and un-needed procedures etc etc. However with Dr. Jain I literally STRUCK GOLD! Thee best in the Bay Area without any doubt. I have been going to Mt Diablo Family Dentists now for about 6 months. They are the 2nd dental office I've used since moving back to Concord 2 years ago. We chose MDFD for their friendly / family-style office atmosphere - and for their staff. I like having a good relationship with my dentist - and the first office I went to was more like a dental superstore - with ever changing dentists, hygienists and staff. MDFD stood out immediately when first meeting the previous practice owner Dr Bayat. She was great with our daughter - and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Shortly after I had my first appointment and found out Dr Jain had taken over. And while for some that may have been a shock or concern - as a new patient I saw Dr Jain, and the staff, carry the same kind, caring and thoughtful approach to her patience as Dr Bayat. I generally don't write reviews but this one deserves it. My dad was visiting us from India and had some issues with the fitting of his denture which he got from India. He was very uncomfortable and couldn't eat because of it. I called Mt. Diablo Family Dentist and they were super understanding and accommodating despite their busy holiday schedule. I called them on Monday and they had us in the same day, sent the denture the same day to their lab and had it back the next day. I am super amazed by the turnaround time and that too on such a short notice. They had us come in on Wednesday for final fitting and it is super comfortable for my dad now. He can enjoy his remaining vacation, thanks to Mt. Diablo Family Dentist. Dr. Jain is amazing and explained us what needs to be done and what are the next steps. She worked to get the existing denture fixed since we didn't had time to get a new one, plus it would have been super expensive. She has great bed side manners, very patient and thorough in her work. She even worked with my dad so he can practice putting his denture back and out. The front desk staff (Veronica) and the hygienist are amazing too, and remember their patients by name. The staff and Dr. Jain were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Jain was very kind and knowledgeable; she answered all my questions patiently. The thing I liked the most was, Dr. Jain was sincere and forthright. My experience with other dentists had not been that great, where they had exaggerated what my needs were, which made me have multiple unnecessary office visits. It was definitely a sigh of relief to find a dentist with a high standard of ethics. I would also like to specially mention Veronica and Michelle. Veronica made it very easy to schedule my appointment and took care of the paperwork related to insurance. *Update* 1/2023 I recently gave birth and completely forgot to cancel my appointment. They did send me some reminders but with the challenges of a newborn I kept forgetting since it wasn't on my priority list. I finally called the day before the appt, more than 24 hrs in advance and let them know I couldn't make it. This was my first time rescheduling and I had always been on time for all my other appointments. The person who answered told me that they would have to charge me a cancellation fee of $75 because they required a 48 hr notice. I explained my situation and she said she would have to 'see' about asking the dentist IF it could be waived because I had signed their patient contract and I should know about the 48hr notice. I was very surprised and disappointed bc I had always come on time and honored my appointments before. I understand the need for cancellation fees for repeat flakey patients but for someone with a reasonable explanation to reschedule who hadn't missed before, I found their response to be disingenuous to patient care and not sympathetic. Truly disappointed because I really enjoyed their dental hygienist's charisma. If only that translates to their receptionists... I even left a 5 star glowing review in Google for my first appointment bc I really liked the office vibe and the staff read more

I have been seeing Dr. Jain and her staff for over a year now having done several procedures (crowns, veneers, extraction, implant) and cleanings. I find this office, and her new partner, Dr Nangolli to be quite experienced at all facets of the work they have performed on me. I never have to go back post procedure even for as much as a bite adjustment. The equipment is state of the art - 3d digital impressions and panoramic imaging. I've never had to wait long for any of my appointments. Both Dr's I find to be very communicative and personal, and collaborative on treatment plans. When a suture fell out recently, I was able to contact Dr. Jain at home thru her answering service, on a Friday night, no less. And even tho I heard much activity in the background, Dr. Jain gave me her full attention and advice and I was able to enjoy the rest of my weekend. wow! read more

Extremely glad we found them! My boyfriend and I moved to Concord during the pandemic. So when things felt a little safer, we realized we needed to find our go to places for ..all things! I called a few weeks ago on a Tuesday and the receptionist fit us in the Friday of that same week. They were so flexible and even scheduled appointments that fit perfectly with our work schedules. We've had a few visits since then (cleanings, deep cleanings, cavities) and every time we've been the entire staff has been so wonderful. I have to say that this was by far my best dentist experience. The office accommodated me as much as possible into their schedule with my conflicting work schedule. Dr Naina was very detailed and explained everything during the cleaning even being something routined. Diablo Family Dentist office right at 8:01AM & Angela was the receptionist that happily help me. They were able to see me the same day at noon. She listens patiently and understands the situation before jumping to conclusions. On my most recent visit I had my fillings done and the process was very smooth. I had my first dental procedure with Dr. Jain. I needed 3 old fillings replaced. I can say she was one of the best dentists I have used. Considering I have had fillings, root canals, crowns and dental implants I feel with my extensive experience with dentists, endodontists and oral surgeons my observations are reliable. Dr. Jain was very concerned about no-pain or minimal pain during the procedure and the procedure was definitely minimal pain. The repair was excellent. To say I dislike going to the dentist in an understatement. I've put it off for so long. I wasn't completely satisfied with my previous dentist and felt maybe like I was being ripped off and now I think I was right. I found Mt. Diablo Family Dentist and started looking at reviews and what they offer. It was easy to schedule. When I arrived I was warmly greeted and given paperwork (as I was able to print my forms at home.) I was taken back and had xrays done. Dr. Jain came and talked to me and discussed her findings from the xrays and we discussed a treatment plan. Dr. Jain is very kind and thorough and I felt comfortable with her explanation and plan. The hygienist was also very nice and fun to talk to. Veronica at the front was very down to earth and helped me figure out a date to return before the end of the year. She was also a lot of fun to chat with. I'm optimistic that this might be my long term place until retirement takes me where it's going to take me! read more
