All of the staff have been so kind and welcoming here and they do such a fantastic job with my eyebrows every time I come in. Wouldn't get my eyebrows done anywhere else, I am a big fan of this place - very excited to try out their other services! They have a clean space and the staff always sanitizes their hands (which you don't always see at other places). They not only do threading and tinting, but also offer facials, full body waxed, and henna. This can definitely be your one stop shop. Found my new threading home!!! The threading specialist was really nice, friendly, knowledgeable and took her time to listen to me. New to the area and told her how I went to the same person for awhile and had to try others when I moved down here. In result my shape was messed up and I showed her a photo Of what my brows were supposed to look like. She was honest and said we can't get them there today because I'll need them grow and told me exactly where the brows was messed up and what's she was going to do to gradually get them to grow back the way I wanted. They turned out awesome and she was fast. Went after 5:30 on a Tuesday and had to wait. Next time I'll be trying during off peak but certainly worth the wait. read more

I'd love to give it a five because HELLO...brows for 3.99 threaded? The problem I had was that I got a pretty nasty cut/burn from the threading and it's never happened anywhere before. The lady who threaded me kept breaking the thread and something happened that caused me to bleed. Now....I get threaded every two weeks, typically here in McKinney at Heena. I've never bled, so I'm not sure what happened but there are now small cuts and scabs above my left eye. I might go back and try someone a little more gentle, but since Heena does them for $4 as well, I doubt it. I gave it a three because they were super friendly and she did a great job on my sideburns. Prices are very reasonable and the joint is very clean. I think my lady just had a bad thing of thread or something. read more

They were very nice, everything seemed clean. The waxing experience was actually not bad. it was my first time. I paid $50 for legs and arms and I think they did a great job. I'm unaware if the method is the cleanliness way if waxing, it comes on a roller that is squeezed, id have to do more research on it. I have sensitive skin so I expected some redness and breakouts which I did have. I think I'm going to go in one more time and see if the redness/breakouts on my legs and arms improve. To be clear I have redness anytime I do anything to my skin. All in all a good experience. read more

This review is for Henna only. Came in here for 2 henna designs. I brought pictures of exactly how it should look and it was very simple patterns consisting of circles and straight lines. It was far less complicated than some of the more elaborate designs I've seen. The results of both were terrible. It was very amateurish and sloppy as if done by someone who's never drawn a picture before. The lady wasn't capable of drawing a single straight line or round circle. Don't let them do any henna on you. read more

UPDATE: The owner gave me a call quickly, which I was surprised. They do check their reviews & want customer satisfaction. I became a Yelp Elite to not down businesses but give honest reviews of my experience with nothing in return. With that being said, the owner didn't have to call me or even ask what was wrong and because of that I may come back in near future. I appreciate them wanting to correct their dissatisfied customers. ______________ Im not coming here ever again. I loved them but today my eyebrow threading was extremely painful. They just go in raw, no powder, oil or anything to help the friction of the string from rubbing dry against your skin. Also, it didn't smell so pleasant in there. Not being rude, but its the truth. I would give them a negative 1 but it doesn't give me that option. I went and got my lip waxed and the lady proceeds to put the wax over my mole and I said don't put it over my mole then she proceeds to pull it off. Well I felt my mole lift. I've had my mole my whole life and never has it come off or anything. So I go in to tell the mgr which was the owner and she basically shrugged it off and asked me what I want her to do about it. SMH no apology or anything and told me that since it didn't come off while I was there she couldn't do anything about it. She didn't care or express concern. So I suggest you find somewhere else to go. And it's sad because I've been going here for a long time and that's what they do to the customers!! Sad but true!! read more

I was a regular here.Not anymore, until they messed up my eyebrows. They threaded way to much on one side and my eyebrow is nearly gone now. Had to wait 15 minutes and for a what? A disappointing result. I could tell something went wrong when she continued threading like I had some cave man eyebrows or something. It does not take that long to thread my eyebrows but this lady took a while, i knew something was going to go wrong. Just save your brows guys and do your brows at home, youll get the same result! read more

Just came here to get a touch up on my eyebrows and left completely upset. A lady I never seen attended me and left my eyebrows completely uneven. Left one was to high up and thin and the right one was thicker and more how i liked. Have gone here many times and after this visit I don't think I'll be going again. read more

I'm very disappointed to say that my eyelashes have been cut while getting my eyebrows done. My eyelashes are very long I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. If I actually allowed anyone (other than my picky self) to touch my brows, I'd try a thread. However, I have taken my 12 y/o who has a mean unibrow 3-4 times and they've always completed the service as requested, "a CLEAN-UP with NO ARCH." A couple of other local places had my tween looking like a 16 y/o after we'd left; something I do not approve of. The ladies here are pleasant, have reasonable prices and we've gotten henna a few times, which, also, was done beautifully and free-hand. I loved Aliana salon, unfortunately the last three times I went my eyebrows were left uneven. It's very difficult to find someone you can trust with your eyebrows and Mahi used to do a great job why I gave her three more shots and finally decided it was time to move on. Not only were they left uneven I would also make appointments and I would arrive and they would take other people before me so I just started walking in and they made me wait 30-60 minutes multiple times because they had appointments. They should clarify what is going to be respected, walk ins or appointments so people do not waste time. At this point I think Aliana Salon is a hit or miss. read more

I'm sorry but I don't get the hype around Mahi. I read the google reviews and most people were recommending mahi. So I figured why not. I came in the first time for eyebrow threading & she basically did nothing to my eyebrows. I walked out with my brows looking the same way that I came in. I decided to give her a second chance and this time she threaded my left eyebrow so much thinner than my right. So now I have two different looking brows. And on top of that it was really painful. She cut me so much, seemed to be in a rush because a lady with an appointment walked in right after I did. They're super nice but I'll be going back to my old salon. read more
