Missed appointment. When i called and asked what was going on he claimed he called numerous times and left a message. Well it turn out that isnt possible because there isnt a voice mail. Instead of working through it he chose to yell at me and blame me as I am sitting at home waiting. Like full on yelling. lol In addition they came the first time, did not put back all the panels, and after he left the boiler was leaking. I paid for this service through a supplemental homeowners insurance policy. They were not very professional and did not know what they were doing. My problem was that my in floor head stopped working in the middle of November. I had in floor heat up until then and the last 16 years. This person had no trouble shooting skills so instead he told me my lines were froze and told me to get heaters out onto the floor to dethaw or wait til next spring. I told him we have not even had winter yet. I have lived here for 16 years, and he must of thought I was stupid. I told him the lines are not froze I just used them. Please see calendar temps for November. The only thing he did was put a meter up to the circulation pump to see if it was working and said there is nothing else he could do. He mentioned flushing the lines. Until I said lets try that he was not going to do it. He did not have a hose with him so I pulled mine out of storage. He said I can't use this because it has a male and a female end. I said yes most garden hoses come that way. He asked if I had a coupler and I said no. He kept cutting down my in-floor heat system because it heats by a water heater and said that is illegal. I said the house was built with it and I just had a home inspection 4 months prior which passed all tests. He also mentioned something about having the pump or heat hooked up to the wrong side. No true. He did not want to be there, and it was obvious he just wanted out of here. I paid him for a service call for nothing, I was upset. I called the Insurance company as soon as he left. Now I was stuck in the same position I was in before he came. I called someone in the next day. If only this technician had trouble shooting skills and dedication to his position, he would have figured it out. Eight hours into Saturday we finally got it figured out. There was some sentiment built up in the chuck valve which he never checked. Then there was air in the lines which we had to bleed all 10 of them. 5 on cold side 5 on hot side. He could have checked those things he knew the water wasn't getting through he kept saying. But no he said the lines were froze. My house temperature was at 68 degrees the lines could not have froze especially since we haven't even had winter. I have a home warranty and I was assigned ALIANCE. I contacted my home warranty on 11/11/23 and was provided the contact information to call and schedule an appointment with aliance. I called aliance same day on 11/11/23 and was told that the technician William is busy at the moment but a message has been relayed to call me back within 1 to 2 hours as soon as the technician was available. I received no call back 11/11/23. I called the next day again Sunday 11/12/23 and was told the same thing a technician would call me that day as soon as they were available. No call. I called Monday 11/13/23 to schedule an appointment and was told the same thing again, and again no call. On 11/14/23 in the morning I received a text message that an appointment was schedule for the upcoming Thursday. No call just a text message. So I called aliance again asking to speak with a supervisor because I have been without heat for 4 days now and was told numerous times I would receive a call same day and did not receive anything and was hoping to be scheduled sooner than Thursday. Bill called me back and I explained the situation. Bill started yelling at me telling me that it is my home warranty's fault because they should of never told me to contact aliance on the weekends because they are not open unless it is an emergency. I told him I did not know that and the warranty company did not relay that information and when I called aliance I was told I would receive a call that day and no one from aliance relayed the information that they were not open on the weekend either to schedule appointments. Bill continued to yell and argue with me stating it's the warranty company's fault when I told him I understand it is the warranty company's fault in the beginning but also aliance fault as well because when I called the no one relayed that they weren't open on the weekends. Bill again continued to yell and me saying "At this point I don't care if we do the service or not" I was shocked that he would say that when my intentions were to receive clarification on the situation as to why I was told repeatedly someone would call me Saturday.Sunday and Monday and did not receive a call and if I could schedule sooner because I have been without heat for 4 days and waiting another 2 days would make it 6 days without heat. Bill continued to yell and tell me that it's not his fault that the warranty company did not tell me they were not open and he doesn't believe that aliance answering service would tell me someone would call me back the same day when I told him they stated a technician named William would be contacting me. Bill stated he does not care if he does the service or not. I asked to speak with someone else and Bill stated he was the owner and that he will contact the warranty company to have the service transferred else where. Bill is very rude and unprofessional. The entire phone call all he did was yell at me and argue when all I simply wanted was clarification why I didn't receive a call when I was suppose to and if I could get a sooner appointment. read more
