We had a water pressure tank spring a leak. Tank was still under warranty. Called them at 2:38 pm on a Thursday. Told it would be an emergency after hours call. Extra @ $500. Took 1 hour to replace. Charged $1442 total. Tank was free? Brand new with new copper lines, new gage etc and 3 1/2 hours work performed was only $1703 including Tank! I n was charged almost $1000 for labor for 1 hour! I gave Albiero several weeks to address or at least reply to my concern regarding unsatisfactory service. As of yet - they have not responded to my complaint. I requested service to inspect for a possible water leak. They charged me $580.00 to replace a connection under the kitchen sink (that really didn't need replacing in my opinion). The tech was there less than one hour! There was a more severe problem discovered, but I did not trust them to return to my property. The tech stated that he didn't think the company would do extensive work on a "manufactured" home. I asked for the senior discount that they advertise on the website - but did not receive it (yet). It could be the tech was just immature, but he was not respectful and not professional. It felt like he judged the property because it is located in a manufactured home park. They were courteous, professional and efficient and had no problems explaining to me what they were doing, also offering me suggestions how to keep my furnace in top operating condition. I called them on Friday because I was going out of town and needed a shower mixing valve replaced for my basement shower. I was gone for military duty and didn't know when I'd be able to return to fix it, so I called them and asked them to come out to replace it. They said they could be at my house Monday to fix it, I had already purchased a new valve and all they had to do was cut out the old one, glue up some cpvc lines and would be simple enough. They would also have to attach a copper line to one of them as well. It was an inside wall and there was an access panel to get to it and shutoff valves so accessibility was not an issue. Well, I was shocked when my wife told me the bill was $767.25 and the plumber had charged us 5 1/4 hours worth of work for a simple job that should have been 1 hr, maybe 2 max. I felt like they had taken advantage of my wife. I have used them before in the past and they do nice work, but considering how much they charged me I'll use another plumber. We had to utilize the emergency plumbing service due to our tub faucet falling apart and water gushing out everywhere last night. Ian Jessup came out to fix it, he was polite, kind, and efficient! He even talked with my toddlers and pet my dogs- both of which were trying to distract him from his job. He finished in less than an hour!! I called Albiero to schedule a plumber to replace a 21 year old water pressure reducing valve due to low water pressure in my house. This was a non emergency job. The plumber completed the job in approximately one hour. He also completely cleaned up the work area before leaving. Outstanding work!! I contacted Albiero Plumbing on New Years Day (Friday), after rupturing a water line while trying to "fix" a dripping faucet in my main floor tub/shower. I twisted the mixer valve trying to remove the retaining ring (seized from hard water deposits), which caused water to spray behind the wall and down to my finished basement. I had to shut the water off to the entire house because there are no individual shut off valves to the tub/shower. Because I need water and couldn't wait til the following Monday, I had to bite the bullet and call a plumber at "Holiday Rates". The Albiero Receptionist was very nice. She had the on-call plumber contact me where I explained my dilemma. Armando was great!! Because I have an older home, that particular mixer valve was not readily available or easy to replace/adapt to the existing shower. Armando went to the basement and added shut off valves to the hot/cold lines. This way I was able to turn the water back on and just shut off the lines to the tub/shower til I could get it fixed. Armando added the shut off valves in less than an hour, which wasn't an easy task. He had to become a contortionist working in a finished basement with limited access space. This saved me a lot of money, which Armando was just as concerned about as I was. I don't care what anyone says...but when a company busts their butts to save their customers money, on a holiday, this says a lot. I have used Albiero before in the past and will continue to use them in the future because they care about their customers and do excellent work. I would highly recommend Albiero Plumbing, I had my A/C unit go out. They were on time for the inspection appointment, and discussed the problem with the unit. After a great discussion we desired to replace the 15 year old unit with a much more efficient system. The installer was here at the stated time and worked diligently to install the new system. When he was done he reviewed everything he did and walked me through what I need to do for the best efficiency and how to maintain the system. He was clean, efficient, and knowledgeable. STAY AWAY! We had them come out for our water softener 3 times and still not fix it! In fact the guy had to call to see how to take it apart and put it together. He took the liberty of ordering and replacing a valve on our water heater, "because it was leaking" and charged us. Well it worked just fine despite the "leak" but now not even a month later the water heafter he fussed with doesn't work AT ALL. Yet the other one he didn't touch, works perfectly fine. (Same age, same model) Albiero plumbing is a bunch of crooks, I would never ever recommend them unless you're looking to be ripped off. read more

They talked me into a new furnace last year. They installed a piece of junk that is much noisier than my last furnace. It also sounds like a jet engine when it stops and starts and stops. They have sent out someone five(5) times and can't correct the problem. Should have kept the old one and fixed it up. They installed an outside spigot two years ago and I am having problems with it. I have used Albiero for all of my plumbing and heating work for over three years because they do great work and price very fairly. That being said I am very bothered by my recent work order that was completed. When I called in to have someone sent out to my house for a backed up floor drain, someone was dispatched right away and got us all fixed up right away. He did great work and was very fast and left the area clean, and for all of that I am very grateful. Where this bothers me relates to the fact that I was not notified in advance that this would be considered overtime and subsequently result in a bill nearly double what it would've been. The call center rep was very courteous and assured me I would be taken care of right away, which I was. It would've been nice to know prior to sending someone out that this was going to cost as much as it did due to being a weekend. I was under the impression it was open for regular business hours due to the fact that someone answers the phone right away and took care of me. I am very happy with the work and have zero issue paying the man for his time. This could have waited until regular hours, and had I known it was not a regular work day I would've simply scheduled the visit for a workday. Do not avoid this company; they do good work as fair prices. But DO ensure you ask about the hours of work and billing BEFORE someone is dispatched. Lesson learned, I will do that in the future. I do highly recommend the company should be training the call center employees to disclose this information up front. Kind of feels like a bait and switch. Let my hard lesson learned help you to avoid falling into the same trap and get the rates up front. read more

Excellent! While in town to help my elderly parents, I discovered that their two bathroom sinks were draining slowly and the disposal not working properly. I was only in town for a few days and Laurie was kind enough to schedule the repairs for the following day. AJ was on-time, friendly, very professional, courteous, fast, easy-going, very knowledgeable about Seinfeld and according to my Mother, "a very quiet plumber."
