Unfortunately, our first interaction came due to near carbon monoxide poisoning. We awoke in the wee hours if the am to the lights and sirens of the fire dept arriving because our CO monitors had gone off. Seider was quick to arrived during a huge snowstorm with an emergency weekend call. The corrected a disconnected outlet/exhaust from.our boiler, and were prompt with arranging a follow up service call to correct the issue that caused the exhaust to come off. An issue with the sparking mechanism was causing gas to build up in the unit, from what I could gather. Our technician seems knowledgeable about our unit, and had all of the parts and tools he needed to diagnose and repair it. The prices seemed fair, things were explained well and a detailed invoice was provided. Despite high demand during a major storm, they were able to correct our immediate safety issue in a timely fashion. We felt well cared for, and would definitely use them again.

I have had a series of interactions that left me not really wanting to work with the company. After Rude employees, unprofessional behavior, and taking forever to get me scheduled, I would recommend going to another business. First interaction was fairly strange and unprofessional. I was contacted after submitting a form, asking me to reach out to schedule service with Ben, their master electrician, on August 3rd. Upon reaching out to him, I was questioned as to why I was calling this number, who gave me the number, and didn't help schedule. I had to reach back out to the scheduling person that told me to call Ben to get it on the calendar. I had a guy come out for the initial investigation on Friday August 7th, and was told that I can call over to get it scheduled, and they will make it a priority, because the electricity was out in my bathroom. Upon calling to try and get scheduled, the scheduling person stated they would need his paper work in order to schedule me, and they would reach out on Monday. He asked me at that time if I wanted my bathrooms vanity light and the fan and heating lamp on seperate switches, which I stated yes. They didn't. I waited giving the company benefit of the doubt (Employee stated they were fairly busy). Friday the 14th of August I reached out for an update, got the run around because the scheduling person wasn't there. I had to call back again, and again, and again, before they FINALLY got back to me August 24th (17 Days later --- WOOO Priority) to get me scheduled for September 1st. The two guys that were working on my house on September 1st were shouting at eachother, calling eachother names, criticizing what and how they were doing the work, one of them threatened to stab the other, threw things down the stairs, and didn't install the vanity light and fan and heating lamp on seperate switches. I rarely leave bad reviews without talking to management, and attempted to get this fixed. They stated they would get back to me that same day about a resolution (IE, either some money back or getting the switch situation fixed.) That was September 2nd. One of the two employees (Joe) Called back to apologize for his less then professional attitude the day of, but As of today (September 14th - almost two weeks later) Management still has not done anything to resolve the issue.

He inspected the heat exchange and found areas of concerns due to age. The furnace is 20 years old and I know I'll need a replacement soon. Many in my condo have had theirs replaced in the last several years. My time will be coming soon. Mark had the office staff provide me with an estimate for replacement. They did this promptly and I thank both Mark and the office staff for the follow through. As always, Mark was respectful, kind and very professional. He made me comfortable with both his service and knowledge. I would be very happy to have him back to provide service again and would recommend him and Pat's.

Michael not only diagnosed and repaired the boiler in record time, but he was also kind enough to take the time to thoroughly explain how a hydronic heater works, and all of the necessary maintenance involved. Michael was extremely knowledgeable with all things HVAC. We were charged a very fair price for the labor, especially considering the weekend callout. Fast forward a few weeks, and we called out Michael to update some of the heater controls. Again, Michael provided outstanding service and corrected a few other issues with our hydronic system. Still highly recommended!

I have used The Washing Machine Man twice for services. The first time was for problems with my…read morerefrigerator freezer, and the ice maker/water dispenser, not dispensing properly. Wilson the Technician arrived on time and got right to work. He explained that the drain line was repaired previously (Fridge came with purchase of house, about a year prior) and the pitch was causing backup and condensation freezing in freezer compartment. He replaced a part of the line and fixed the pitch. He said he sees nothing wrong with the ice maker/water dispenser, and the issue should be resolved by replacing the water filter, as it is very old. I told him a friend, and a family member, both said the same, and I have one being delivered. Installed new filter and dispenser works fine. No upsell, no extra charges! The second issue was with my oven not heating properly. I suspected the ignitor was faulty. Technician (can't remember name) arrived and turned on oven and said the ignitor is faulty, too long to kick in. He changed the ignitor and oven works fine. Both times, I visited the store to set up the service and was treated well and given a quote. The first was for $179/$189, or somewhere near that, and the second was for $239. I was not charged a penny more; there was never any upsell and both technicians cleaned up well. Thanks for the stellar service, twice!!

Wonderful Service…read more Our furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and we opted for a new furnace. The crew brought space heaters to our home to keep us warm for the 24 hours before the new furnace would be installed. They replaced our furnace on the "coldest day" in 6 years (literally - January 21st)! Every crew member was friendly, and polite and took great care to keep our home clean. They covered our floors, wore shoe covers, and even vacuumed the area where they worked in the basement. We have been a loyal customer for decades. We highly recommend Dave Perry Heating & Cooling. We have them coming back in spring to replace our AC unit.

I called Gross Heating on Monday to have someone come out asap. I was told Wednesday morning was the soonest they could make it. I was reluctant to call another company because in the past I had a bad experience with another. The last time Gross came out, they did a great job, so I called them back and said okay to Wednesday. They said they could actually send someone out Tuesday, late in the afternoon. The technician came out and apologized, saying this job may take more time than we have today and run into a lot of overtime. So, a new appointment was set up with another tech for Wednesday morning. In a way I'm glad this happened because the new tech was excellent in every way. He had the part I needed on his truck and had everything completed at noon. While he was there, our daughter called saying you won't believe this, but my boiler stopped working and I have no heat. Gross had anticipated the tech would be at my house the entire day. I asked if we could go over to her house to take a look at her boiler. Gross said okay, so off we went. She needed a new pump motor, which luckily he also had on his truck. In conclusion, both of our heating systems were fixed in the same day and at what I feel was a reasonable price. I trust Gross Heating and wouldn't use anyone else.

I hired McCoy Plumbing for a high-end basement remodel. They did a decent job on all the rough plumbing - moving water heater, moving gas lines, putting in the piping for my bar sink, bathroom sink and shower. Then came time to finish the job and install my fixtures. I came home from work excited to finally see my completely finished basement, only to find that instead of the high-end fixtures there were some cheap, apartment-grade faucets installed, and no shower whatsoever. Turns out that the owner never even ordered the fixtures and just tried to install some cheap crap without even saying anything about it. He then got very upset when we demanded that he order and install the correct fixtures. This was supposed to delay the finishing of our basement by 4-6 weeks, however as that time drew nearer he became very unresponsive. There was a complete gap in communication for over a month beyond that 4-6 weeks with some ignored messages in between. In the end I ordered the parts myself and in doing so found out that he had installed the incorrect valves in my walls - which at this point had already been closed up. I ended up having to hire a new plumber to open up my walls, install the correct valves, and properly finish the job. I would not recommend this guy to anyone. I can't believe that he purposely installed the incorrect valves in my wall without telling me, installed cheap faucets without informing me and then had the audacity to get angry with me when confronted about it. Just an awful experience all around. Delayed my finished basement by over 3 months.
