I crushed my pixel 7 a few days ago. Broke the screen at least. I've never tried a phone repair place before. A water treatment guy came to my house for maintenance and i asked him if he knew of anybody for cell repair. He pointed me to Alibaba's after a good experience he had there. Alibaba is very nice and personable. He gave me a quote to replace the screen. I accepted. A little later it was determined that the new screen would actually cost more but he kept the price the same. He told me he had the new screen in stock and he would call me later on the day with a status. He called me. The new screen did not work but he said sometimes nes screens are defective. He ordered a new screen which came the next day. He called me to let me know he installed the 2nd new screen and that i could pick it up anytime. I did an hour later. The phone was in great working condition. He did not budge on his original price. I will definitely take any repairs to Alibaba's again in the future and spread the word to anybody else i need. When you enter his small repair shop, look around and meet him, you will know that he is totally dedicated to his craft and has been for many, many years. read more

First off I hate to leave negative reviews but ....I paid $90 for an Iphone 11 pro screen for it to be lagging and glitching all the time , causing me to have to reset my phone in order to get my iphone screen working again . Every 20 seconds my iphone screen completely freezes . I was told there were 2 options , one being a screen that costs $90 , another being a screen that costs $149. I was told that both options work perfect so I went with the $90 option. If the man that attended told me at the beginning that the $90 screen option would lag and glitch and not function , I would have gladly gone with the $149 option. Then I brought it in to see if they could fix it, however one of the employees said he attempted to check it out , but there was nothing that could be done , and he spoke to his boss. His boss told him that if I wanted to replace the screen in order ti get it functioning, I would have to pay full price and not get the difference in price. Please next time be transparent to your customers so that they don't have to leave negative reviews , and on top of that you would've made an extra $60 have you had told me in the first place the $90 option does not function properly. read more

I have never had to get a repair done on my phone before, but it was my lucky day when I ended up splitting my screen. When I took it in to Alibaba the next day, they were transparent, patient, and quick to work. My iPhone 12 pro was almost as good as new in an hour for a fraction of the price provided by apple. After an issue arose with the new screen, I decided I'd take it back in as they offered a 60 day warranty. Again, without failure, Ali worked his magic. He explained the issue and the process, all the while humoring me while I sat with him. I'm thankful to have been in the hands of someone so skilled in their craft. It would generally take three hours so we picked it up the next day and it was perfect condition. If I could turn everyone away from this business I would. The owner is a narcissist and he speaks over you just to get in his last word. He yelled at me over the phone when I called in for an update, even after he is the one who suggested to give him 2-3 days for an update. When nothing was heard from him we would call in and he would insist he has thousands of clients and repairs he's working on and "you are not the only one". No communication is provided and they are not clear about anything. Do not take your business to this awful place. If you read other reviews you can see the owner is known to argue with customers. He cuts you off when you're speaking and gaslights you. While he may be able to fix our iPad he for sure is not someone who should be in business of customer service. They should set a clear expectation of a timeline instead of hastily accepting your device for repair, setting a 2-3 day diagnostics but never providing any updates. They held onto our iPad for several days (of us going in person or calling OURSELVES for an update) and when they finally told us the battery was not the issue and it would be a bigger repair to the motherboard which is fine and we were willing to move forward, even with them being completely unprofessional. We let them know the iPad is our kid's and we would like it back as soon as possible. They told us to agree to their online estimate to proceed, which we completed same day. We wait.. and wait.. three weeks go by (the timeline they gave us) and again NO COMMUNICATION. My husband stopped by after work to ask for an update and again the owner gaslights him saying we were supposed to pay the estimate in person or over the phone before he would get started. This was NEVER said to either of us and it doesn't even say that on the invoice or online portal ANYWHERE. Paying is not the issue, it's the fact that they do not communicate anything and wasted four weeks (including the first week of just diagnostics) of our time and never even bothered to follow up. Example 1: I cracked my ipad 6th generation screen. First time I ever broke the screen of an Apple product. I called Apple and they gave me a quote north of $200. A quote high enough to warrant buying a new one. I texted Alibaba and he quoted me almost half the price. I didn't believe it but I trusted them. They told me it would be ready in 2-3 days. I dropped my encrypted thumb drive off on a Monday for repair. I was moving my laptop trying to straighten up around the house, when I accidentally bent it out of shape while it was in my laptop. It was already bent but still working prior to this incident, but I heard it crunch and knew my thumb drive had gone on up to glory (heaven). To no avail, I tried to make it work by unplugging and replugging & bending it back into shape, but nothing worked. It wasn't looking too good when I dropped it off, the associate said "I've never worked on an encrypted one before". I called on Thursday to receive a status update and was told "it's not looking too good. The motherboard tech in Leesburg still has it." I felt my soul drop to my ass. I decided to let them keep working on it, then I got a call on Friday saying it was done and they could retrieve the data. Since I provided a brand new thumb drive at drop-off, I had them transfer the data. So within the span of 5 days, my thumb drive died, I received news it wasn't looking good, then it was repaired. I'm just really happy because I had important data on there from years worth of work. Notes: They provide text message & email updates. Diagnosis was $20 which is paid when you drop-off. Total: $70. Parking is horrific and getting in and out of that little area can be quite dangerous. read more

I have been going to Alibaba Cell Phone repair for about 8 months now. The first time was that my son's iPhone had water damage and Apple could not provide me a decent explanation. Instead they wanted to sell me a $350 replacement. Alibaba opened and inspected the phone and explained that the motherboard had water based corrosion due to multiple water contacts. Explains what my son is doing with his phone. I had gone there as another iPhone's Home Button did not work. Before, I went to Apple Support, they mentioned that they would have to change the screen too as it is integrated and quoted me over $175. Alibaba showed me that the connection of the Home Button with other parts was broken, replaced it and that was it. Charge was around $100. I have also had my cell phone battery replaced. I have purchased used handsets from them and its been good. Recently I got my laptop repaired at less than 50% the cost quoted by DELL. I had dropped my laptop, breaking the hinge and some of the body around it. It is a touchscreen laptop. The repair is such that as if the accident never happened and the touchscreen works as expected. My experience has been that their charges are reasonable, they are polite, courteous and take the time to properly explain the problem to you. BTW - they understand the problem unlike the Apple Support technicians. They also warranty all work done by them. And they use Genuine parts as and where applicable and possible. read more

When I left the iPad for fix the battery was working 100% fine. Now after screen repair the battery cannot hold charge for 5 minutes. Whatever they did the battery is dead now. When I called to express my concern he directly start attacking me like I did a crime to trust his repair shop. Now he asks for another huge amount to fix the battery which himself damaged. My phone was smashed to smithereens.... pretty much obliterated. And they were still able to retrieve my data. Please please always backup. Worth the trip to see what they can do.
