Brought my phone here, on a Monday afternoon, after seeing that my screen on my Google Pixel 6 Pro was separating, while inside my case. I called first to ask if they were open and available - They were. I had never heard of this store before. Upon arrival I was quickly seen and discussed the issues with the employee there. The employee stated that they did not have the Pixel 6 Pro batteries in stock at that location but that I could travel ~40 minutes to one of their other locations and get the service done there or I could wait and have one of their regional staff managers bring a battery another day, or have them order a battery. Since they offered the service, and it's built into their price, I opted to have them transfer the battery from the secondary location, figuring it would be faster than ordering one... I left with my phone and waited a few days. The receipt stated that I'd be notified by 06/11. So on the morning of 06/12 I contacted the store to inquire if the parts had come in. The employee stated that the parts were in-store and that they had called an left a voicemail (and gave me the time of the VM call) on my phone, but I never received it. No worries! I'm sure they did leave me one. I'm just happy to finally be able to get it fixed. Not stressing over a day! Upon arrival they stated that they were going to put my phone into a repair mode and that they wouldn't be able to access any of my data while it was in that mode, and to enter and exit that mode they'd need my PIN (which they DO NOT write down or keep in any way). Very happy to see that their customers' personal data, in their phone is secure, and that curious eyes wouldn't be looking through it (not that I think they would!) Nice to see they care to educate and re-assure their customer base. They also use GENUINE and not aftermarket parts for Google and Samsung, unlike other shops. The only gripe I had was the price -- but then again, who doesn't whine over an expensive bill?! ...$150+ for a battery replacement seems a bit much. But, I do understand that they need to pay for 2 staff members every day, insurance, rent for the space, and parts... But, at least maybe give first-time customers a 10-30% discount to keep them coming back, maybe..? Another shop told me they'd do the battery replacement for $80. But again.. who doesn't want best price? It's crazy to me that it's failing so soon, when I've always kept it in a case, only dropped it twice, and always take care with it. I ordered the phone in April 2022, from Google, for just over $1,050! I am happy with the service I got, and hopefully this will be the only time I'll have to make such a heavy investment into a phone that's not even 4 years old to me yet... I am so happy and thankful for this business! I checked 3 other cell phone repair places, the Apple store itself and 2 Verizon stores. Apple and Verizon said they couldn't fix the issue with the phone, but if they could, it would be at least $300 the other iPhone repair business could possibly help but the prices were $30-$60 more. They did a fantastic job. They were also very, very courteous, kind, communicative, professional and helpful. I would only recommend this company for your phone repair needs. read more

If I could rate Josh at uBreakiFix higher than 5, I would. I was panicking because my iPhone 12 plus was not charging, even with new cords. After striking out at AT&T, I called uBreakiFix and Josh, the manager, answered the phone. Despite is being close to closing time, he said I could bring it in and he would be glad to look at it. He took a total of 1 minute and it was fixed! Turns out there was lint in the cord port and that was keeping it from charging. He did not ask for any payment. I had a great experience a couple days ago at this store. I have a brand new phone, and I changed one of the settings and couldn't remember what I did to undo it. After spending about 4 hours with the guy in the store where I bought the phone, and two different tech support guys on the phone at AT&t, and no one could figure out what the problem was, the young guy at this store did. Professional service, At&T store couldn't figure out what's wrong with my cellphone, only can replace it with new one, but I got this Samsung S9 only for one and half year, I would like to use it longer. The personnel in this store was rude and treated me like a thief. I had to return twice and my wife once for a simple repair that Samsung had already authorized for my cell phone. I was a Major and an F-16E pilot and am a University Professor now...I teach classes in business, including how to treat customers. One particularly bad employee who claimed his name was "Jay" and wouldn't give his full name, because he was embarrassed about his service. He did find out that everything I said was true, but he didn't even offer any kind of apology. DO NOT GO TO THIS FRANCHISE!!!!! Try a different one, even if it is farther away. read more

This business does not stand behind their work or products. I paid 170.00 for my iPad screen to be repaired. 10 days later a crack appears from top to bottom- was it placed on securely? Was it done correctly? Who knows? Was a cheap replacement used? It was determined at the store when I brought it in that it wasn't dropped or crushed, yet they want ANOTHER 170.00! The manager is suffering from no customer service skills and a severe case of gouge the customer. Obviously, convenience is NOT worth 340.00! I brought in a PS5 for repair about 6 weeks ago to this location. I was told the repair would take 4 weeks to happen as the unit would have to be shipped to Fredericksburg to their repair facility. I got a call from a repair technician about 4 weeks later saying my PS5 was next to be repaired and he offered to sell me an insurance policy on the unit which I declined. He said he'd go ahead then and finish the repair. I sit at home and wait another 2 weeks and hear nothing from this company. I decided to drive over to the office in Manassas to see what was going on. The young lady at the desk said it was done, but hadn't been picked up yet. I told her I thought that this was "B.S." She said she'd schedule a pickup for the next day. I get an email from them today saying the device was repaired and ready for pickup. I go into the store and the young man their was telling me there was a one year warranty on the repair, but I couldn't bring it back to that store. I said do you mind if I ask why. He said "When you came in yesterday, you cussed out one of our employees." and that's not how someone should talk to an employee there. I told him I didn't cuss her out, but merely stated that I thought that the way that they treated me as a customer was in fact "B.S." I'd stay as far away from this location as possible. I have two boys with autism and multiple iPads that they use for communication/education, which break regularly--mostly screen damage from the abuse they take. At the time I reached out to the store via Yelp, I had five (5) screens that needed to be replaced. The owner called me directly within an hour of sending an email, and offered me a discount on the repair of all 5. I live nearly 45 minutes away from Manassas, but the discount as well as the level of customer service I received, make it worth the added drive. The employees are good about calling with updates/estimates as they encounter unforeseen issues (e.g., home button or off button malfunctioning) and offer fair/reasonable prices to repair them. Their store's operating hours also make it convenient to swing by after work or on weekends. Highly recommend. read more

This place saved my phone. I had gotten the iPhone 8 earlier that day for my mother. She then told me to keep the iPhone 8 & give her my old phone. I went back to Verizon so they could switch the SIM cards for me- however, the chic there told me I was able to do that on my own. Well, I got my SIM card stuck in my new iPhone 8. Though difficult to do, the Team at this store was able to rescue the SIM card out of the phone without harming the motherboard. Second time using them, second bad experience. I believe in giving second changes, but this is ridiculous. I took my phone in yesterday for repair, picked it up in the evening, everything looked fine. Find out a little later when trying to send a text that I don't have a sim card or a sim card tray. Ok, deep breath. I'll just go by tomorrow morning and get my sim card and tray. Go by this morning when they open at 10, oh a sign saying "We are temporarily closed. We will reopen tomorrow." Tried calling the number on the sign for help, it was a call center who gave us no help. The store's phone numbers tells you to make an appointment on their website and hangs up on you. Tried calling AT&T, who sent me there, and they can give me a new sim card, but they don't have a sim card tray available to give me. What kind of business gives you absolutely zero way to reach them. OH - also tried to contact them on their website. It asks you to put in your 9 digit sales receipt number. There are three numbers on my sales receipt. All of them are 8 numbers. When I try putting them in, it just gives me an error and blanks out all of my responses. You are tech company and have a terrible website, terrible customer service. All around terrible. I will drive wherever I have to, to avoid going to this location ever. An if the other locations are the same, shame on you! I would never purchase your annual warranty plan if this is the kind of service you provide. I am also making sure that AT&T knows the kind of business they're sending their clients to. read more

Don't take your phone here! I brought my phone in and they had it for 2 days without doing anything to it! They told me they opened it and it was beyond repair and they weren't able to fix it but they never did open it and straight lied to me in front of other customers! I didn't want to say anything since there wasn't going to be any solution since they pretty much are not capable of performing their "free quick diagnosis". Hopefully, I can change this rating. Dropped a MacBook Air off on Thursday for because I got nothing but a white screen when I turned it on. Got a text that night saying it was fixed. Picked it up on Friday, it worked ONCE. Back to the white screen after I turned it off. Texted back, got no answer. Brought it back on Saturday "Oh, the tech is at lunch, he'll call you." It's Tuesday - haven't heard a word. Just called the shop; the man answering the phone says he is not a tech and knows nothing AND the tech doesn't work Monday or Tuesday.?! Everyone here was extremely helpful, professional, and made me feel calm that my phone was going to be ok. I cracked the screen on my Note8, the picture was all messed up and it would turn off. Fixing my note8 came with almost an entirely new phone, the front screen, back, battery, and sides. It still has its water proof state. But none of my settings, pictures, or any data on the phone was lost, it was all still their. Yes, it was pricey, $250.. but with phones nowadays that's a lot cheaper than buying a new one, and I'll still be able to turn it into Verizon in the future when I get a new phone. This is a great place. The young men were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. Wife's phone got wet, she placed it in a bag of rice and a grain of rice got stuck in the charging port. They removed it and offered a free cleaning/drying service. I asked them if they good test my battery and they did, also at no charge. Verizon offers no service other than wanting to sell you new merchandise. I highly recommend this business. read more

I dropped my phone in my dog's water bowl 3/9/17 early that morning and took it to this location later on that day. Andrew was the guy that helped me. It was close to closing time but he took the initiative to take a look at my phone (especially since it was water damage, and that kind of damage just can't wait). Afterwards he told me that if I didn't bring it in as soon as I did, my phone would have been non salvageable bc my system would have corroded. He said all he had to do was dry the insides with a towel and change the screen since the water seeped into that part. On 3/9/17 he saved my phone from what could have been severe water damaged, and on 3/10/17 they fixed my screen and I was out the door. The whole ordeal was $112 tax included (which is pretty reasonable in my book, compared to a $200+ replacement.) Now the other employee Jay was awesome as well, he helped me through the finishing process and ended up convincing me to buy their super sturdy screen protectors (which was worth the $49.99 bc worst case scenario if you crack your screen protector or phone screen the warranty allows you to fix it for only $9! and you get a new screen protector for free!). The employees at this location are super endeering. You can tell they take pride in what they do and how they care for their customers. Their energy is great and they have gained a loyal customer. Honestly can't see myself going anywhere else. Especially when their screen protector's warranty benefits is $9 IF you crack your screen. Kudos UBreakIFix, Kudos! I took it to GeekSquad today and they told me that Apple's policy is to not fix this, and I would have to order a refurbished phone, which would cost me $500 since my AppleCare expired. My strongest recommendation for this shop's professionalism. I dropped my phone on a Saturday - completely destroyed the LED. They fixed it on Sunday. One day for $110. They told me that it would take 90 minutes but then they discovered that they were out of my screen. They called the Woodbridge store who sent a new screen to them. They quickly popped it into place and I was good to go. Some stores would have said, 'We can fix it tomorrow.' or 'We'll order the parts and fix it tomorrow.' Not these guys. The assistant manager got on the phone and found my part so I could get the phone fixed in time for work on Monday. Greatly appreciated. They fixed it in less than 4 hours for roughly $100. That is awesome service. They were extremely professional and a week later, the phone is still as good as it gets. read more

DH has visited this store twice within a month -- once for a computer fan problem, and once for a printer problem. In the first instance they couldn't locate a needed part so they recommended another store where it was fixed quickly. In the second, they were able to remove a jammed envelope we couldn't. No charge! This company is willing to look at a variety of tech problems and are happy to help you out anyway they can. Employees have a great attitude and it's a pleasure to deal with them. So even though we haven't really "done business" with them, we would give them 6 stars if we could. Businesses like this are rare these days. read more

Went in and was greeted by Justin he took my phone and returned with the charging port working perfectly. Turned out it was just clogged with lint. Now that is what I call honest service. This review is on behalf of my dad who took his 4 year old iPhone in yesterday because it would not turn on. He left it there for repair, and got a phone call a couple of hours later that it was ready for pick up. Turns out it just needed the battery removed and then replaced (same battery, not a new one). No charge! Now that's honest service. My moms iPad is no longer working- Apple has given her the run around on repairing it, and my husbands laptop screen is cracked- we'll be dropping these off for repair soon! read more
