I go there because they're across the street from the hotel I stay at after my work day. The food is usually pretty good, the cook is cool. But during my last meal there I noticed my Jamaica drink tasted like it was carbonated and had a smell like wine. I called over there and the guy behind the counter said " he doesn't drink it and didn't know what to tell me" Well I do, if that's "customer service " I won't be back. Well, let's see where do I start. A quesadilla we asked for beef and cheese and they added, potatoes, peppers. All we wanted was beef and cheese. There was very little cheese. I ordered 5 taquitas with guacamole and I got 5 taquitas smothered with guacamole , cheese and lettuce! WTH! I expected 5 taquitas with guacamole, and salsa on the side! My husband ordered a Kevin which was greasy and dry. We ordered a beef taco with cheese only swimming in grease. Ordered a side of Pico de Gallo it was gringo(MILD) to say the least. Salsa was watered down, not sure who're they're saving the good stuff for but sure wasn't me! Meat was bland, asada was better then the pork, no cheese in the burritos. I've never been outraged enough by a drive-thru taco experience to take the time to write a review. That changed today. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with this place. Our order: Four carne asada tacos and two medium drinks. Our total? Almost $30 -- only to be given a product that can best be described as a sloppy, disgusting mess. Typically, carne asada tacos come with two layers of corn tortillas, right? Not these, friends. In what I can only fathom as a cost-saving measure, the tacos were wrapped in a single, flimsy corn tortilla. Picture a pile of meat, pico and guacamole nestled on a piece of gas station toilet paper. So you want to eat the carne with a fork? You're shit out of luck! No plastic utensils provided, either. Turn to your own meat shovels, cave people. And one final suggestion: Be sure to ask for hot sauce. They're not going to give it to you otherwise. And when they do give it to you, it's flavorless and watery. Godspeed, travelers. And to the residents of Eager, I'm super sorry that Aliberto's is your only taco shack. read more

One of the better Alibertos, ordered a taco and two cheese enchiladas. The Shredded beef in the track was tasty and the taco was pretty large. Everything was hot and brought out on a actual ceramic plate with metal silverware. Definitely worth eating at. Just beware that they charge you a .50 cent fee for using debit or credit. was looking to get a late night dinner before we went to a hotel and did not except this, the detail on the outside of the building is really cool and the food was amazing and even comes with a cute little Mexico flag in your food 10/10, food tastes amazingly like home, and to get a taste like home it's really hard, service was excellent and fast than expected, super nice guy and again the food is amazingly good again, I really would eat here every other day if I lived here, thank you Aliberto for such a good time and food read more

Very disappointed ordered the number 3 2 cheese enchiladas the cheese was not melted they use way to much lettuce onions and tomatoes. Also ordered a medium coke. I ended up paying $2.50 for a medium watered down coke. Talk about being ripped off. The beans were cold and the rice wasn't cooked all the way. I do not recommend this place. No customer service at all. Called to let them know that I was not satisfied and I was basically just ignored and was told basically next time I came in they would not put so much lettuce on my order just to let them know. Also the enchiladas besides not being cooked fully the tortilla shell that they wrapped it in was soggy and drenched in sauce. Do yourself a favor go to any other place to eat. Not this place. Much to my surprise we enjoyed Aliberto's is it the best Mexican food you will ever have no but you know what we enjoyed eating there!! it was fast and easy. The staff was friendly. So glad to stumble upon this place. We were getting especially worried at the poor selection of 'do-it-all' type restaurants here in Springerville- but decided to try Aliberto's out. The building is clearly a fast food restaurant that they've converted- it's super clean- super fast, and the food is authentically Mexican. I had the Chille Rellenos- comes with a 14+" tortilla that they obviously make here: delicious! My husband had the menudo and some tamales and said: the tamales were alright, menudo was very authentic. The menu seems vast, offering a wide range. I'm not sure of the 'freshness' but the flavor is definitely spot on. And if you like Mexican sodas and agua fresca, this place is the Mecca. I would definitely come again. read more

This is the third time I have called in a to go order and told to it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I given ten another 5-10 mins in addition to their projected time and when I walk in the front register girl barely turned my order in AFTER I paid. She thens hides in the kitchen to avoid me while the cook rushes it through. Then tells me that they just microwave everything so it won't be long. REALLY?! If I make a to go order that means in 15-20 mins I come in a pick up my order, not come in and they barely get it going! Time management and accountability sucks. read more

The Camornies Al La Diablo are one of my favorites so I compare this dish on my first visit to others offerings. The shrimp were plentiful [12] and of larger than average size. The sauce was better than expected form a semi-fast food establishment. Chips and condiments are self serve as are the drinks. The cost of the meal was reasonable in view of the prices. The only negative I can come up with the food could have been served a little hotter. Heated plates maybe? read more
