If you want a 57 lb burrito, this is the place to go. Ok, it might just be 2 lbs but it is a hefty burrito. I like to get them and split them in half for two meals. They are filled with quality ingredients and come piping hot. They lose a star because they recently raised their prices and I noticed that my last burrito had a way higher potato ratio to meat. I get that everyone is trying to save or make money but I don't love that. Also, the bacon needs to be cooked a little better. There have been a few times I have got floppy/raw(ish) bacon, which grosses me out. Overall, a good option for some delicious breakfast burritos. read more

Aliberto's is a 24/7 god send if you want to avoid fast food. They seem to pack everything with extra meat. It isn't the highest quality meat but definitely better than taco bell (grade D beef) and it is usually well trimmed (little to no gristle), cooked well, and at the price it's a great deal. Their burritos are like 80% meat with some pico and guac. Seriously over a pound of meat I'd say. The tacos are huge, on two six inch tortillas (which are fried to a slight crisp/chew) and each taco is probably 1/3 lbs of meat. Again this is available 24/7! read more

Im giving one star specifically for the piss poor service. The actually food is good, the price is right. But they are so slooooow getting orders completed and don't even bother to ask for any substitutions. They will ignore your request, I don't know if it's a language barrier or they just really don't like white people, but someone should explain to them that they are in the food service industry and that a certain amount of service is expected. I ordered the rolled supreme tacos today. I have been here many times before and was a go too. Tonight I found a toothpick and a half hidden under lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Tried to contact them just for a refund instead there was nearly no response when calling and telling them the situation. Asking if they normally do this and trying to say it's dangerous. I was told no to a refund. I spent 70 bucks on food I just wanted a refund to the dangerous tacos nothing else ordered even though the flan was horrible. DO NOT eat here. So the food here used to be really good, but we went tonight and had a horrible experience. They were so rude. The guy acted like us showing up as a customer and wanting to order was bothering him. He was so rude and would not talk to us and explain that the lobby closes at 10 o'clock. He would not answer questions about the menu. And then he got our order incorrect which we didn't realize till after we got home because when I called to see if they were open, they did not tell us the lobby closes at 10 o'clock so we had to eat in our car or wait till we get home and have food. The food was awful and I mean AWFUL! The meat and the sauces are absolutely flavorless no seasoning whatsoever. The beans are unseasoned, flavorless, canned beans. We ended up throwing $40 in food in the garbage. It was completely inedible. read more

Lol, this is the place where joy goes to die. Sis and I haven't had decent Mexican food since we moved away from SoCal, where we could get fire Mexican hot dogs from the cart in the parking lot at the Rite Aid, so we had hope that this run down looking business would be one of those messes on the outside, gems on the inside. Step inside only to discover that outside is better. It was colder inside the restaurant than inside. My guess is they were blasting the air conditioning because they wanted to discourage people from staying so they wouldn't have to clean tables. Mission accomplished because everyone who walked in left immediately. After staring at the menu for five minutes, the cashier finally came out of the kitchen, dressed in a hat, gloves, and a puffy jacket, no doubt struggling to stay alive in that arctic climate. He was miserable and we can't blame him for that when we felt terrible being there too. We ordered and when the food came out, it already looked old. The guacamole was brownish gray. And the flavors? They got nothing on Taco Bell. We tried to eat in the restaurant, but finally wrapped it up after two minutes because we didn't want to die of hypothermia. I don't feel bad about leaving a poor review, because I don't think even the restaurant owner cares. Why else would they drive away business with less yucky food and a non-welcoming vibe? read more

Awesome place, great food, great prices! It's a bit cold in the building but other than that the atmosphere is great! I do not recommend putting your orders in at the drive through as they tend to make mistakes, going inside the building is better. and if your doordashing or ordering this place for delivery, no matter how many times you ask for sauces, don't expect any! read more

1st time trying Aliberto's.... It was so good! Portion sizes are massive, burritos/tortas are packed with meat which is hard to find these days. Carne asada, carnitas and chicken were all fresh, full of flavor and delicious. Rice and beans were fabulous as well. They will be put into our regular rotation. Quality of food is atrocious, so greasy and unappealing. The grease literally pools at the bottom of the wrapper and the actual FOOD! Service is absolutely horrid. Came into the drive thru before work, and for two burritos I had to sit in my car next to the window for LITERALLY 20 MINS!!!! Every time I go there, there is a line. What's the point of having a drive through if every order takes a half hour to get out?? The girl at the window didn't interact with me once, gave me no updates on why in the world my order was taking so long. All attempts at small talk are met with a short and curt response. Price is absolutely NOT worth it. I am from Mexico, so for y'all who say that it's a great deal, you truly just don't know any better (not your fault). So disappointing. read more

This place used to be great. I went last night for the first time in years since I moved outta the Lacey area. I got the chimichangas.... And well to my surprised the chicken I got was CANNED CHICKEN!!!! Let me tell you I was so grossed out. Inconsistent Service Overshadows Great Food at Aliberto's Taco Shop We like the food at Aliberto's Taco Shop, but the service is a letdown. We've had trouble with an employee named Juan Raul Oso. Every time we ask for six hot sauces with our burritos, he only gives us three. We've tried to fix this by offering to pay for more sauce, but it doesn't help. We thought it might be a misunderstanding, so we tried talking to him directly inside the shop instead of using the drive-through. But it's always hit-or-miss. Juan sometimes rolls his eyes at us, which feels rude. We've decided to stop going to Aliberto's. The food is good, but the service isn't. Inside of an old Taco Bell there is the best taco shop. They have another location in Lakewood. 24/7 I love their wet burrito with beef. Shredded tinga style beef with peppers and onions, not greasy nor chewy. Comes with green salsa, vinegar flavored goodness; or red salsa, will light you up and set you free. Dine Inside is cold, but clean and doable at 0300 when you need it. Also have a drive thru window, be patient the speaker is old and they take awhile to get to the point. Only wish is that they had lengua. But, menu is huge without my tongue fix. They take credit cards without attitude and are pretty quick considering the huge menu. read more

Stopped here after leaving the airport and heading west to my final destination. At first I thought it was an ALBERTO's, which I am very familiar with back home. This is a clone, with an added letter (ALIBERTO'S - to deceive unaware potential customers me thinks. Oh well, gave it a try. I ordered a carne asada burrito, although a bacon breakfast burrito was initially calling my name. The wait seemed kind of long, but oh well. The burrito was a good size and the meat cooked well. The guacamole in the burrito was okay, but nothing great, as was the overall burrito (I ate the whole darn thing after all). The interior appeared clean to me and the employee working the counter was pleasant enough. I may try something different if I/we stop in here in the future and give an update. read more
